Since when did a salt and pepper box become a hot and spicy chilli box can't even eat it ! Absolutely gutted.

Ordered from here last week for my daughters birthday..I have no words..possibly the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had..bland, overcooked cheap food cooked using cheap ingredients and condiments..avoid this place like the plague..I do a lot of Chinese cooking at hoke myself and I could have cooked everything we ordered from here to a higher standard..spend just under 40 quid between 7 of us and none of us could eat it..the lot went in the bin..I won't be returning

Ordered a takeaway which was delivered on time. We had chicken satay skewers starter, special fried rice, and curry sauce. The food was delicious, outstanding. Will be ordering again and can thoroughly recommend.

Delivered to Cliff Farm in Cayton. Excellent customer service, very prompt, great tasty food and the Curry sauce is something else!!!! Fantastic all round experience.

We are only down for the weekend from County Durham, and I dont normally write reviews, but this takeaway is absolutely beautiful. Food so tasty, cooked to perfection, best takeaway we've had in years (and i eat alot of takeaway). 5 stars.

Got delivered wrong order in error. Will say normally I have never had a problem before. They dealt with it and replaced the order quickly. Cant fault their service and manners great service!!

Visited Wing Hing stood around for ages waiting to be served in an empty shop. Food was average, takeaway could do with a good clean and tidy up, we were unsure if it was actually open due to the pram, boxes and junk behind the counter. If we had seen the back room (from side alley way) before ordering we'd of definitely gone elsewhere!

Crispy chilli beef, salt and pepper chips and pekin spare ribs.... One of the best Chinese I've ever had... Would highly recommend 😁😁

Never seen such a poor presentation food arrived with spilt curry sauce all over it..They had tried to put a curry sauce container within another container. Which I don’t understand, chips came very soggy will not be ordering again just wish I had taken a photo at the time.

Been here loads of times but no more They have literally put every meal up by a £1 in the last month.Its nothing to do with things going up it's all about ripping people off as part of covid.If they were that bothered why do they never accept card payments.Their loss wont go there again

Food is always amazing. Staff are always friendly and patient. My wife and I are loyal customers. Always get free prawn crackers. Excellent value.

The young lady behind the counter kept disappearing, had to wait about 5 to 10 minutes just to place the order. The Hide and Seek continued as the place got busier. Took about another 15 minutes to be presented with our food. We ordered shredded crispy beef .......it was not shredded and definitely not crispy We ordered crispy noodles ..... They were not crispy Do you see a pattern developing? So all in all, not a positive experience and most certainly will not return.

We were staying in a hotel in Scarborough this weekend and ordered prawn sweet & sour with egg fried rice and mushroom chow mein. We ordered from here as a previous review had said the chow mein was made as a chow mein should be. I’m not sure of their version of a chow mein, but we asked for Pak Choi and some veg, only to be told they don’t offer veg ( by a very bored sounding girl who then put us onto a Chinese lady because she was struggling to understand what veg in a chow mein was...). Anyway, long story short, chow mein was simply greasy noodles with onions and a couple of bean sprouts. However, the prawns and fried rice were nice. We should mention that our review is mostly thanks to the very lovely delivery man who had been given an address at a different place, but left his car and called us whilst walking to find us. And he was very fast. He forgot to give us our sprite but noticed it just as we did and called us straight back to apologise and say he would be coming back with it. Average food, very lovely delivery man.

Our meals were only average, the main problem was that they were all very salty and i normally like salt but this was way too much. I have given 3 stars because it arrived on time and was hot.

Thought we'd found a decent chinese that delivers to our usual Chinese that doesn't deliver. The first couple of times were nice but the next couple weren't so nice. Glad we tried it but probably wont go again.

Googled local chinese in the area as we were away on holiday and this was the nearest to us..Quite a few locals using it so called in..Lovely polite lady, easy to order and cooked very quickly..Lovely food..Would definately return when we in the area..

We stopped here for food late last night (about 22.15) on our way home from Scotland to down south (via a scenic tour of Yorkshire). We found ourselves unexpectedly in Scarborough, after a change of plan, and were looking for somewhere to get some food. Wing Hing, amongst others, came up in a Google search. We read the mixed reviews and checked the food hygiene rating (four) and decided to take a chance. We're glad we did, as the service was friendly and fast, and the food was hot and really good - and excellent value for money. As we were eating in the car we kept it simple and had one dish each: my husband had the char siu pork in black bean sauce with green peppers, and I had mushroom curry. Main meals include rice, and we paid the 50p extra each to upgrade to fried rice as we're not keen on plain boiled rice. The whole lot came to only £10.90, and the portions certainly weren't stingy. The curry was lovely, with a rich thick sauce - unlike in some places where you essentially get coloured water. My husband said his meal was good too, but I didn't taste it as I'm a vegetarian. As a vegetarian I did find the options somewhat limited, as they don't seem to do tofu and not every type of dish has a vegetable or mushroom option, only various meats. However, what they do do was good, and I'd rather have fewer options and good food, than a vast range of options done badly. Overall we were very impressed. The one negative was that they don't take cards, so it was lucky that we had some cash, and is the reason for only four stars rather than five.

Worst takeaway I have ever had! Prawn toast was glorified fried bread with a few sesame seeds on top, meatless ribs, special noodles with literally a few scraps of meat, bland and dry, again special fried rice with no meat or taste. The only nice thing were the chips!

Disgusted £24 wasted. Chips cold soggy reheated. Large pancake rolls not large nothing in them pastry 3 times thicker than should be and soggy and cold. Char sui dish uneatable. I like very hot food but this was over the top. Will never order from here again

The staff were very polite and the food was delivered really quickly. However, the food wasn't great. The crispy seaweed was SO salty! I expected the usual sweetness of crispy seaweed but it tasted like a mouthful of sea water! I really hope that this was some kind of mistake like the chef confused the salt with the sugar and it was a one off... Also, the salt and pepper ribs tasted like perfume. Have you ever got perfume in your mouth before? And it has that weird burning feeling and tastes like flowers mixed with chemicals? That's what the ribs tasted like. I had to throw them away. It was a real shame because my satay chicken was actually quite nice. And the prawn crackers were really nice, not overly greasy like most places. But something seriously needs to be done about the ribs and crispy seaweed. I've never tasted anything like it

Staff were polite and very friendly. Delivery was fast. Unfortunately a lot of what we ordered was inedible. The crispy seaweed taster like pure salt. I've never eaten seaweed like it but we had to throw it away. Salt and pepper spare ribs were dry and tasteless. It's a terrible shame as before we have had wonderful food from here in the past.

Dont know how this had the highest rating of Scarborough chinese takeaways. We have just had the worst chinese meal ever. 1 meal shared by two and it came to £10.20. Not bothered if had been worth it. King prawn chow mein was some tastless noodles with some tasteless prawns thrown in. The chips were awful and overcooked. Curry sauce didnt taste of much either. Will never use this one again. How has it been rated the highest????

Meals were very tasty and had flavour. Solid 4/5. Shame they didn't do yuk sung though!

We fancied a Chinese and ordered by phone to be delivered to East Ayton...food arrived hot within 40 minutes and was delicious. Highly recommended and only £1 delivery charge.

We spent over 60 pounds at this place and everything was spot on. I can definitely tell the chips are not from frozen and the kung po chicken i had is full on flavour. we all loved the satay source and satay chicken skewers were way different than any other Chinese we have ever had and not to mention all the sources in our meals were intense! Wing Hing you guys really need to up your prices because its to cheap for this standard of food...

Been to this Chinese so many times and every time the Noodles are amazing especially the Singapore Noodles! The chips and curry source is nothing like any other Chinese in Scarborough. The reason why i gave it 4 star is because they took longer than before to cook my meal and they are usually busy when i order so i don't understand why it took longer this time. Definitely the best Chinese in Scarborough though!

Usually have a lovely takeaway, but my last few orders have been awful. Chips have tasted stale and off. Chicken is weird, in big square chunks and the prawns don't taste cooked. Chucked a lot of it away this time. Not trying again I'm sad to say.

The food i got from here was pretty awful not eating here again maybe other dishes are better but I'm afraid i wont be trying them.

The meal was inedible. We bought chicken curry, prawn chow mein and egg fried rice. The chicken was like no other chicken I've ever seen, it was spongy and when pulled apart it seemed to be held together with slime. In the curry was big chunks of uncooked onion in very little sauce. The prawn chow mein was so dry looking that the one or two pieces of bean shoot and water chestnut in it could not be penetrated with a fork, they were disgusting. I would not give this excuse for food to a pig to eat . Unbelievable that this takeaway gets all the passing traffic through Scarborough and they could be running a little goldmine but they cannot cook to save their lives. I was really looking forward to eating this meal until i saw it and It has probably put me off trying another takeaway ever again, It was that bad

I ordered egg fried rice and got noodles.i also ordered chicken balls but I at least expected them to be cooked.the noodles I received were cold.only reason I went in was to see the fit owner,then to find out she wasn't there!!! truly a waist of time!!!

The Wing Hing is great for your Saturday night takeaway. Consistently good food. They provide what is requested - only disappointment is that they no longer deliver.

This little takeaway serves great tasting food with real chips not massive portions but prices reflect this wouldnt use anywhere else.

Food is okish but beware everything comes with rice or chips and the price reflects this, if you want to have a dish with no rice/chips then they only reduce the price by 30p even though the rice is £1.80!! When I challenged this the person serving me just shrugged her shoulders, "not my problem" I won't be going back.
