Had lovely lunch at a reasonable price. Will visit again. Recommend the chicken caesar salad.

Got an afternoon tea voucher for my birthday so went with my friend. The sandwiches and scones were lovely as they were freshly made. The bun that hadn’t been covered as I could see them displayed was stale and the icing on my friends tasted off 😢 the blueberry tart I think it was tasted like it had also been left uncovered where other food was cooked! Really disappointed 😢

Went with friends and we all had either scones with jam and cream and a toasted tea cake. Our lattes were delicious. The tea was a good brew. Weather was sunny and warm. Perfect outdoor setting.

Called with mum for tea and scone. I had cup of tea and cheese stone, it was so moist and tasty with butter. Mum had fruit scone and clotted cream and jam, with Americano coffee. Both were very filling and superb. Immensely clean tea room. Quite a lot of pleasant staff to serve you. Nice car park. This is a lovely place to call in, on way to Scarborough. Very quaint. Will definitely re visit.

Decided to visit this tea room after reading glowing reviews. Lovely looking property, staff helpful, polite & cheerful 😊 Good choice of menu. However, scones were disappointing, not that big, looked mass produced. Was expecting them to have been cooked on the premises. Jam came in a plastic mass produced container, I was at least expecting it to be served in either a glass pot or in a bone china dish. Butter pats again mass produced, would have been nicer to have the butter served in a china dish like the cream was. I've been in this area since last Friday & this was the most disappointing Scone & Jam I've had. View from windows over garden pleasant, nicest view I've had.

Introduced my mum and sister to this place and we will definitely revisit as a family. Lovely food and the chips are to die for! The staff were really friendly and attentive too.

Absolutely fabulous afternoon tea, the best my wife and I have ever had. A birthday treat for my wife. Very friendly staff with a good atmosphere. Excellent tasty food. Definately going back, having lived in Scarborough all these years and had mediocre food and service elsewhere this place is an absolute gem!

First visit to the 'Tea Rooms' - lovely ambience on entering, friendly and effecient staff. However ordered a breakfast bap in brown, came in a white bun. I did discuss this on leaving why this was, reported they don't serve brown buns. Maybe should do or given an option of brown toast which my friend had with his breakfast order. Also the car park does need resurfacing, so many major pot holes. Besides this will return and recommend to others.

Lovely tea room with lots of lovely cake and scones. We had a cream tea, and the amount of cream was HUGE!! The scones weren't tiny either! So friendly and welcoming, with a small car park, this was the best place to stop off at during our journey. Nice outside area if the weather's good. I think they did other food, but we were after the scones! We'd come again if we were in the area.

We were on holiday in the area and called in for an early lunch as we were passing by and so pleased we did. The sandwiches were fresh and delicious and our toddler thoroughly enjoyed his little picnic plate with sandwich, cucumber and yummy cake. The staff were polite and friendly and the whole tea room has a great atmosphere. The only downside is we don’t live locally to make it a regular haunt!

Very nice food and service but not very big portions for the price. We had the breakfast muffin and as I said it was very nice but as tradesman we visit a lot of places and in our opinion although excellent it was a bit small for the price.

Have been quite often over recent weeks. The food is always good, the staff very warm and accommodating. No wonder it is so popular!

I called in here as I was passing. I just wanted a take away sandwich. The staff were very helpful and made up just the sandwich I wanted. Really nice and genuine. The dine in part of the establishment was full, suggesting it's a really good place to go. Well done.

Lovely old charm tea room, friendly staff, we had mushroom soup and cheese savoury sandwich, it was delicious and very filling, sadly didn't have space to sample the delicious looking cakes, will have to have a return visit

What a gem of a find, Daisy Tearooms is! Came through for my wedding on 4th October, from West Cumbria. Must have looked at 50 places, from a cafe to a michelin star restaurant. We were way too early. No problem, teas and coffees served. Ready to serve us, again way before slotted time. Nothing any trouble. Lovely fresh food and cake (not easy as i'm gluten free) Absolutely FAB, can't fault anything, and would highly recommend. Afternoon Tea went like a dream. Thank you ladies, one very happy Mrs.

We held a baby shower for my sister in law at Daisys. It was on a Sunday so they opened especially for us. Nothing was too much trouble and it was a perfect afternoon. I’d highly recommend Daisys for afternoon tea and for hosting a special event. Thanks again! Xx

Was really lovely. Food was lovely, coffee lovely too...Prices pretty average. Service was fabulous. Didn't feel too rushed or hemmed in like most places that are trying to ram as many people in as possible. Had to book though. Its a drive out so to get there and be full would be disappointing.

Daisy tearooms never disappoints whenever I call in, whether it's just for a quick cuppa and a cake or something more substantial. It's position away from the town centre means its a car drive for most but it's well worth it with plenty of on site and on road parking. Recommended.

Good service and drinks. There were no room in the tea room but the weather was good for a late January day so the outside area was clean and plenty of tables with seating.

Delicious afternoon tea!! Stopped for lunch and sat outside with the dogs, arrived around 12:30, it was busy but there was a table so we didn’t have to wait.We both ordered afternoon teas, one savoury, one sweet. Loved the choice of having a savoury one!Both were amazing and really good value. All cakes were homemade and lovely, sandwiches tasty and scones were soooo good. They did plain scones for the fruit haters too which isn’t always an option at other places. Service was speedy and friendly, the dogs got a fuss and even got a little treat.Will 100% be back for afternoon tea agin.

Lady who (I believe works in the kitchen) with strawberry blonde hair is just so incredibly rude. Food nice hence the 2nd star but will not be returning. Left quite upset after how we were treated today and isn't the first time we've left feeling like this.

Lovely outdoor space with well spaced out tables. We just had cake and coffee but there was lots to choose from. The cake was delicious cake and coffee excellent.

Fantastic tea room. We all ordered an afternoon tea. We all got our very own afternoon tea tier, it made it special. The sandwiches were very nice, scone very nice, and cakes yummy. All home made! All made to look and taste good. Staff were very nice too. Well worth a visit! We will definitely be going back!

Quiet place with a lovely old fashioned feeling. Menu is a little basic, but each dish is well prepared and tasty. Not the cheapest prices, but all in all compared to similar venues, OK.

We enjoyed our lunch here today. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty. Portion sizes were good and everything tasted great. We couldn't resist cake for afters. We left full and happy.

My friend and I went today for afternoon tea, she is gluten free, the food was really nice , although my friend only had one gluten free cake to my 3 ; Instead she had a few cut up strawberries.what was really disappointing was the abrupt manner of our waitress, we won’t go again, it’s not too much to ask for a bit of British courtesy, pity it’s nearby, but there are other places to go

I had a brie and cranberry toasted sandwich. It was both soggy and greasy, very thin and squashed with negligible amounts of brie and cranberry. The worst attempt at making a toasted sandwich that I could imagine. The serviceable surly and monosyllabic. This was not an enjoyable experience. It was quite expensive.

We sat outside on a large table and comfortable bench on a lovely day. The waitress was a warm and very smiley person. We ordered a pot of Yorkshire Tea for two which when served came in a huge teapot and was very hot and a good brew. My hubby ordered the breakfast bap and I had the bacon bap and they were both really good and the service was first class too.If we are ever in that part of Yorkshire again we would most definitely visit there again.

Had afternoon tea today at Daisies, can highly recommend the Gluten free one I had, it is one of the best I have had, most appreciated, as was my husbands regular afternoon tea. Great service, great price, lovely setting. Thank you.

This is one of our favourite tearooms in the area. There is space outside for sitting and they have a good menu selection. The prices are average and service is excellent.

A lovely place to stop off for a tea, coffee, breakfast, lunch or snack. Excellent location, friendly staff. Top quality coffee and food. Excellent value.

Great service, delicious food all served with a smile

Really nice food with good choice at great prices. There is a real effort towards Covid restrictions too, a very safe environment. The down side to our visit was a frostiness from 3 different members of staff which really let it down. 1. After politely asking for another fork because the one on the table was very dirty, no apology just a grunt and an eye roll. 2. Again politely asked to use the toilet and was asked in a frosty manner if we actually have a table (suggesting we had just wandered in to use the toilet). We had in fact just finished eating and paid £40 for our meals, perhaps know your customers a bit more? 3. We were only given 2 sachets of salt and 1 sachet of pepper between four adults, when I asked (politely) for more I was given another frosty look and no apology. Please don’t be mean with salt and pepper, I know it’s been a tough year but it’s taking penny pinching a bit far! We would return but I do hope the staff can be a little more polite next time, we were completely polite and not once complained, just asked for some simple things, which were not unreasonable.

Called in today for lunch with my husband, welcomed by friendly staff wearing face mask, had covid19 regulations in please so we felt safe. Our food and drinks were very nice. Too full to try the cake but that's a good excuse to return.

Lovely tea room in Scalby, near Scarborough, well worth a visit, great menu, great value and service and was delighted to be able to take my husband for a gluten free afternoon tea , a sandwich of his choice, salad, coleslaw, scone, jam and clotted cream, plus a lovely warm brownie, macaroon and more, all for £12.50. Covid measures followed perfectly to keep everyone safe and plenty of outside seating and parking.I’m all for supporting local businesses, and would highly recommend a visit, we visited three times on our week away
