The best restaurants serving British food in East Riding of Yorkshire Yorkshire and The Humber

Had lunch myself and my family, food was terrible and cold. The owner “Craig” was very abrupt. A lady called Nicola was very rude also, please AVOID!!!

This cafe has just changed hands, is been renovated by new owners, also allows dogs inside, and a new menu starts next week

My husband I visited this garden center today ....we spoke with a really helpful and friendly team member and then went to pay for our doggie treats...The fair haired lady on the tills ,around 11am this morning,was in the left hand corner, shredding,and carried on for a while whilst we stood there....eventually looked up and said to go the till further down....I went to the next till and she said no the one at the end, I apologised and said I didn't know which one she had meant, for her to abruptly come back with..."I did say the one at the end" !!!!! My husband and I couldn't believe it....transaction done with no friendlness and we moved onto the cafe,quite shocked. We went on to order what was to be a lovely breakfast. I did ask the very friendly, helpful team member what the lady was called on the till...JANE... Jane shouldn't really be a front of house person,she certainly is not friendly and to be honest quite abrupt and rude...shame because the garden centre is lovely and she spoilt what was a pleasant visit,other than that....shame on you JANE.

Went to the garden centre with friends for coffee and cake. Restaurant is nice and bright, very clean and tidy. Asked for a latte but was told they did not have any powder left, to make one. Had an ordinary coffee and some cheesecake, which was very nice. Went in the afternoon, and it was not too busy, my friend had a gluten free dessert, which she said was very nice.

Bought a corned beef & steak bake pasty & 2 sausage rolls. What a horrid dinner, could not tell the pasties apart, could have been a average dog food inside as a filling. Not sure our dog were interested, normally he's all eyes when we're having a takeaway, not this time? Greggs & poundbakery are 100s times nicer, at least you can tell what the filling is. Never again!!

Attractive looking pub. Visited for the set Xmas menu. Friendly staff, temp manageress and young female server, both attentive. Starters and mains all nicely presented and tasty. Too full for desserts so they boxed them up to take home. Good value for money.

Visited here with a family of 6 for a Saturday lunch. The staff were all very polite and professional. Good selection of drinks, served in clean glasses. Food was delicious and perfect for a light lunch. I had the soup and a sandwich option and the rest of the family went for the sandwich, chips and salad garnish option. All lovely. You could tell the meats were freshly carved, and that the coleslaw was homemade, as were the chunky chips! A really nice lunch trip, in a beautiful setting; just what we were looking for. Thank you to the staff of the pub and the kitchen.

The Bell Driffield is in lovely town, lots of bars with live music a real good feeling in the bars. The Bell Hotel. The staff very helpful, the rooms very oldi worldie very spacious and comfortable, and clean, breakfast was very good and well worth the money, The lady's running the spa, where extremely helpful , the treatments where very enjoyable and a very reasonable price, would highly recommend . Todo el ambiente del lugar no era exactamente emocionante... la forma en que tienes que esperar para estar sentado como si estuviera tratando de ser un gran restaurante es bastante extraño, ya que es solo un café centro de jardinería la idea de tener un menú solo el domingo no es bueno cuando la comida parece atender solo a un cierto grupo de edad realmente sería mejor con cosas como “Desayuno todo el día” en lugar de cosas que comerías en el verano nadie quiere pastel de cerdo y quiché en clima frío es ligeramente decepcionante cuando el menú del desayuno es más atractivo que el menú del almuerzo / cena el precio total de la comida es un poco alto para las opciones y el estándar de la comida el personal era lo suficientemente agradable, pero parecía un poco apresurado, pero mejor que el personal en el centro de jardinería en sí no sé sobre nadie más, pero me gusta un buen saludo y no ser “mirados” como si fuera de otro planeta... en general no es el lugar más emocionante para la comida y bebidas, pero espero que pueda mejorar un poco cómo se ejecuta con respecto al lado del restaurante del negocio... .

We had booked a Christmas dinner for a group of friends, several of us were disabled. One lady was given a small meal, when she had paid for a normal sized meal. Because she walked with 2 canes could not collect her own meal, it came with no Yorkshire pudding, she was told because she had her meal served to her, she forfeits a Yorkshire pudding!. I complained on her behalf because this was surely wrong attitude to have to a clearly disabled person who is also recovering from major surgery and unable to carry anything. The staff were uncaring and appeared oblivious to the embarrassment and upset they put my dear friend through. Okay they were busy but a bit of care and respect for their patrons would have been nice. If I hadn't brought the matter up to another staff member, by making my point that she couldn't carry her own plate. It would not have been sorted. This spoilt the Christmas meal for us all and I was shocked by the idea of penalizing a disabled person in this way, then not even bothering with an apology!.

Always go this bar when visiting bridlington very friendly and old fashioned but traditional great food great beers and george is really friendly and talkative keep up the great work george👍👍👍👍

Great little country pub, had a lovely family meal, great options and vegan options too, service was brilliant and the meal was gorgeous! Happy family all round! We will be back soon

Called in tonight as seen family pub and dogs welcome on their sign.....just our street. Well. Absolutely gobsmacked with the prices, cheep and cheerful. Brie, as discussed as in the cheese, absolute delight, what a barmaid! Signposted me to everything I was drinking and offers, could jot have asked more of her, saleswoman in the making! We will be back, with child and dog 😊 cannot recommend any higher

Visité con mi mamá y mi perro (ambos ancianos) para descansar durante nuestro paseo por la playa. El propietario era atento, educado y muy acogedor. Elegimos el té crema de la tarde @ £ 8 para 2 - un delicioso bollo de frutas con mermelada y crema más té. A mamá le gusta su café, así que tomó un aromático americano con crema que era solo el boleto. Disposición de asientos peculiar, limpio con un buen ambiente. Volveremos la próxima vez que visitemos Bridlington. Gracias por ser amable con mi Staffie.
