Called in tonight as seen family pub and dogs welcome on their sign.....just our street. Well. Absolutely gobsmacked with the prices, cheep and cheerful. Brie, as discussed as in the cheese, absolute delight, what a barmaid! Signposted me to everything I was drinking and offers, could jot have asked more of her, saleswoman in the making! We will be back, with child and dog 😊 cannot recommend any higher

What a laugh! One of the best Saturday afternoons with karaoke/DJ Ray. Really nice guy and brilliant music in between singers. Jagerbombs advertised at 2 for £5, but paying for them....only £1 each. Well worth a visit 👍

Hilarious pub full of bants We decided to go in for a drink as it sounded busy and there was Kareoke going on which I can easily have my arm twisted to do. Outside it states ‘jaeger bombs’ 2 for £5 so we thought why not, it’s Saturday night! Ordered them at the bar and the guy said ‘that’s £2 please’ Er sorry what I think we will have 4! So funny! Didn’t get chance for a song but had a good laugh before heading off to another bar to try. Thanks for the fun

This is a busy local pub. Let me just say, please be prepared before using the toilets! Walked in with two women in adjacent toilets with doors open, sitting on the toilets seats talking to each other while having a wee, it was hysterical!!!

This place is not a good experience dirty bad staff mainly dmmp staff sure there on things that they should not bed avoid

Called in a couple of times for a pint, oldi worldi pub. Good atmosphere and service on the front in Bridlington.

Stayed in apartments across the square from here, noise was consistant every night until the early hours.

A large selection of drinks including cocktails friendly staff nd locals a little slow on cleaning nd clearing the tables Nice little seating area in the back but not big enough for social distancing

Had an incident with a rude staff member named Courtney , abusive language and heard talking about “how stoned she was “ to other customers

Here they charge tourists far more for beer than the locals pay if you fancy a cheap pint walk past here & head to the new inn or Wetherspoons

Very friendly staff and good selection of drinks and good view over sea. Served by Eva who was extra helpful.

Stopped into my favourite pub in Bridlington for a quick pint on the balcony. Great pint as usual, served to my seat. Will be back for more next time im in town

Visited a few times. Outside area could do with some sort of barriers. Inside is cosy . Well kept beers.

Pleasant enough staff, Covid protocols in place if not fully adhered too, beer and wine not expensive. Seems to be a few locals which is a good sign normally

Went here only to find out if your a local your drinks are cheaper than if your a holiday maker how can this be very cheeky if you ask me wont be getting our custom again x

We went for the quiz paid our money downloaded the app. The noise was horrendous, we missed at least five questions and ended up walking out. No Social Distancing and we never seen a table wiped down. The only one in rule for toilets wasn't managed. Expensive for drinks as well.

nice pub shame about the lazy staff dont know how to pulla pint and more bothered talking to each other. differnet price every time I went to the bar. they guy working was hostile. glasses and dirty tables very expensive

Not much care given for social distancing and drinks overly priced for the quality of the establishment.

Smells of urine and damp, full of teenagers underage drinking! Gravity all over, needs ripping to bits and starting again! No social distancing and no cleaning of areas!

Better places to be----felt ripped off 1 fosters, 2bottles beer, 1 gin/t = £19------what !!!I think they added £ 10 for table service---not goodAlso the place was minging & needs a full rip out---Its not nice & its not history written all over the seats & tables go elsewhere

Visited for drinks on a Saturday Evening,,, no food at that time but very lively place with good music from DJ playing 80`s on our visit

Popped in here one afternoon this week. From the boards and posters outside I was expecting to find a lively throng of happy holidaymakers enjoying themselves. What I actually found was a young couple having a pint and staring at their phones, two older gentlemen sat chatting and a surly barmaid who looked as if she would rather have been anywhere else but where she was. Not even any decent music playing. I presume this plays livens up at night but the owners might like to think about livening up the decor by getting new carpets !!

took family for a meal ... 2 roast dinners .. deep fried roast potatoes ,powdered mash ?frozen veg ?worst meal ive ever tried to eat !!! chip butty ,mmm,just left it . even kids would not eat theres , has to be the worst place ever to eat .. we are local ,, never again !!!! drinks were fine .

I'm sorry to say this as such a prime location. The food has to be the worst ever it was terrible frozen rubbish.... Please don't eat here. Childs meal smash and cheap deep fried sausage just awful!! Expensive drinks. I can't even discribe what was supposed to be a roast dinner.

Came in for a drink. It was very quiet. Had a cocktail and chilled out for a while. Prices are very reasonable. Well worth a visit and I look forward to returning!

Great bar been to the karaoke night was really good, so went with friends to the Thursday quiz night fantastic fun. Don't miss it

Came here while visiting friends nearby. Great place, friendly and helpful staff, delicious homemade food. Especially burgers - a must have while your here! Kids loved their meals too:) Highly recommended place to visit. We'll be coming back again for sure!

Really nice place, delicious food in low prices, nice and friendly staff. Worth to recommend. Beach and many more amusments are very close to that place.

Staff are friendly and welcoming,the food is first class,home cooked food. Doesn't take long coming and piping hot. I'd really recommend you try this place out for yourself. I can't wait to go again.

Very tasty Sunday roast in a nice place. Good value for money. Definitely, I'll visit this pub again. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

By far the worst Sunday dinner we’ve ever had. Packet mash. Veg, Yorkshire puddings and roast spuds all frozen. If you can’t COOK food don’t do it. Not to mention the cock scratched into the table.

Brilliant place to be for adults. The music is a range for everyone and also some karaoke. Good singers. These guys have got it right . They also come round with sandwiches and peanuts.

If you fancy a lively time then the Hook and Parrot is the place. Live music, karaoke, discos, they have the lot, and there's always a good crowd in there.

Really needs some tlc , Very expensive coffee considering the sign outside state £1 and the wife’s coffee was charged at £2.80 . Beer is expensive too...one to avoid!

Popped in today, impromptu with our dog, Lola, the pub is dog friendly which is why we went there! Sadly, winter months no food but the bar maid brought water for Lola, she helped us find a food place to eat and generally went above and beyond to help, what an asset to the place, we’ll definitely go back! Lovely place if you’re a dog owner! Thank you!

Went for a drink here and was only having one.They stock a great bar with lots of gins.Ended up having a few and very cheap,for a extra pound you could get a double(rude not to)

Went into The Hook and Parrot for a drink on Thursday afternoon. I was glad to see it hadnt changed much at all since i was in quite a few years ago. It was quite quiet, so had a cocktail and chilled out for a while. Its a great pub to go for a drink, and people watch if you can get a window seat!

Situated very close to the funfair, this establishment is average with fantastic view over the sea, and if you like people watching those walking. Up and down the promenade this is the place to visit, on the downside it could probably do with a refurbishment.

A great place to have a pint and watch the world go by. Also fantastic atmosphere in the evening with a great disco! The drinks are a good price and the bar staff are friendly and efficient! We spent a lot of time at this bar and the tables in the sun are great if you just want to sit and watch the world go by.

When out in Bridlington town on 02/06/2018 I came across this pub ..

Needs a good dust and in need of some maintenance. Went in twice, both times smelt of wee. Had a great atmosphere late on, beer reasonably priced but there are cheaper places nearby if that’s your priority.

Popped in for a quick drink and ended up joining in the quiz. The guy running it was persuasive & funny. We came next to last which in all honesty would have been last if one group had not decided to join in part way through. But it made us laugh on a cold wet night over our easter walking break.

All I can say is great place and great staff .That simple 😊it has a great atmosphere and very friendly staff.clean and tidy and great prices compared to other pubs.situated near the beach and other amusements.

We had passed the pub many times, we thought that for a change we would venture in, expensive beer, not very clean, we heard the bar-maid say to a customer "that guy I've just served asked me where he can get drugs", not a very charming thing to hear!!!

Out with workmates for Sea Fishing Trip great day stayed over for the night so visited the town. Came round a view pubs for a bite to eat and a drink most say had a laugh in here so much we came back. Great place to come if you've not been before .

We love James behind the bar, very helpful and a good cocktail maker. The only place in brid to go on a night time 😀😀

Lovely friendly staff who made us very welcome. Hubby had a pint and I opted for cocktails so went for the 2 for £5 deal. I had two double up cocktails (in pint pots!) Black Cat and Sex on the Beach which were both yummy!. We bought a charge cable and sat charging phone, people watching and enjoying drinks. Will deffo be coming back!

Spent a pleasant couple of hours in here with my husband one afternoon to escape the rain. Good beer and friendly staff. USB charging socket at table if you've got your technology with you. We got a window seat, so had an entertaining time people watching too!

Fatally awfully drunken scumbags place food terrible!!! Will never come again man behind the bar doesn't care a monkeys..i asked for pepper with my food and he said we ain't got none lol.but very rudely !!!.

Had karaoke on at lunch time was entertaining went in at night also was a good night. Double up you drinks for an extra pound. Did food and the menu was cheap priced

Basic inside, good for people watching if you can get a window seat. Wooden bench seats and worn tables but pleasant service. Has some seating outside if the weather permits

Cheap pub, stayed open late on Sunday most pubs were shut, menu looked cheap and decent pub food, we didn't eat there but went in a few times for drinks.

Called in a few times whilst on holiday. I have always liked this place and visited it many times (under other names) in the past. The beer is good and (although we didnt eat) the Sunday lunch look very good.

Decided to go here for our "home cooked" Sunday roast. Massive mistake. Although staff are friendly and it's a great location, the food let this place down. I can only described our meal as a cheap frozen beef roast. The ones you get already made up in the freezers at supermarkets with a slob of SMASH on! No wonder it was only 2 for £10. You pay for what you get I suppose.

Nice pub on the sea front. Clean with fairly good seating. Staff nice and drinks reasonable nice clean toilets no access for wheelchairs as steps into ? around 5

I love Hook & Parrot. I go here every weekend. The staff are fun and friendly. They have great offers on cocktails and various other drinks. It's nice in summer as you can sit out on the balcony with a great view of the sea. Would definitely recommend!

A small pub but with outside seating now,you can sit out or inside near the window's watching the world go by.

Love this place. Food ok. Staff excellent . Very clean toilets. Believe it has recently changed ownership. Looking forward to visiting it again soon.
