The best restaurants serving British food in East Riding of Yorkshire Yorkshire and The Humber

Little cafe. Snacks were ok a tea and coffee tasted very good, but had to wait a long time to be made and delivered to table. Also tables not cleaned, a chair covered in spilt drink seemed to be ignored and not cleaned. Pity front of house let's this cafe down.

audrey's estaba tranquilo cuando llegamos, sólo otra mesa estaba ocupada. Éramos un grupo de cinco, pero las mesas solo tienen capacidad para cuatro personas. El personal no nos dejó poner dos mesas juntas y la única manera de que todos pudiéramos sentarnos juntos era poner otra silla al final de la mesa en la ventana. El sol estaba muy caliente, fluyendo a través de la ventana por lo que fue una experiencia de comer bastante caliente e incómodo.

Pleasant restaurant area, although a little cold. Mixed bread starter was disappointing - two small breads that were very hot having been microwaved. No real flavour to the breads at all. Steaks were well cooked and bottle of wine deal for £12 was good value. Restaurant was very quiet so there was little atmosphere.

We went on a sunny morning and sat in the garden.....we thought it was very welcoming and food was good and coffee was hot....(been to chain of coffee shops in past who serve luke warm coffee!!!!!) Very pleasant....

My husband and I came for a breakfast what we normally have but was just out. Of time so we ordered a s/w each and two latte coffees we was very disappointed with the food that was brought to us not the normal standard and the coffee was like drinking milk that wasn’t too warm I think the lady serving was rushed off her feet so not looking forward to visiting for a wile. It’s a real shame as we are regulars 😔

Hotel is a bit tired and you can hear the people next door but not to excess. Rooms are a nice size, clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and service in the restaurant is speedy. Food choices are so much better than other budget ranged hotels. My only gripe would be please get a better toaster.

Went here with good review from a friend, whom came along with us for her birthday treat. I thought altho, it wasn't too busy we waited at least 20 mins+ before our meal arrived . We all ordered the ' Roasted lamb rump and mini pie duo' asked how we would like the lamb cooked etc. When the meal ( finally) arrived didn't understand why asked, how we would like our lamb cooked.. It looked like the meat had been shared between the 3 of us. Can only describe it as 3 small round clumps on each plate didn't even resemble a roasted lamb rump. Therefore a little disappointed with main meal.

Llegué a la 1 pm pidió un pan tostado, pannini y nuggets de pollo para niños, el servicio en la caja fue dolorosamente lento, pero tomó nuestro número y esperó, y esperó y esperó .. llegó a la 1. 40 y las familias que entraban después recibían su comida. Preguntó al personal y dijo 10 minutos... otros 20 minutos después y otra comida de las familias salió... fue a la caja a pedir un reembolso y dijo que lo estaban emplatando... vino y se equivocó de orden para el pan tostado. Preguntó a un miembro del personal que amablemente me dijo “estaban ocupados” (era 1/3 lleno en el mejor de los casos! ) 1 . 15 minutos por fin tuvimos toda nuestra comida. Evitar - el personal no podría importar menos y no tienen un cuidado en el mundo!

Visité con mi mamá y mi perro (ambos ancianos) para descansar durante nuestro paseo por la playa. El propietario era atento, educado y muy acogedor. Elegimos el té crema de la tarde @ £ 8 para 2 - un delicioso bollo de frutas con mermelada y crema más té. A mamá le gusta su café, así que tomó un aromático americano con crema que era solo el boleto. Disposición de asientos peculiar, limpio con un buen ambiente. Volveremos la próxima vez que visitemos Bridlington. Gracias por ser amable con mi Staffie.

What a lovely pub - with really nice meals. We stayed for a weekend in one of the dog friendly rooms and had a brilliant weekend. Lovely staff and very friendly locals. Bumper the spaniel was a particular attraction and made friends with our Labrador! This is a great location with lovely beach walks. A great pub to stay at for a weekend away.

We arrived in Goole just after 2.30pm, we went in one establishment and my partner needed the loo, what a good job, I took a look around, we only wanted coffee and cake, but not a cake in sight, can't do a review of it as I didn't get its name, went further up the street and came across another selling itself as a coffee house, yet again inside the same greasy smell, what is wrong with Goole?. We went under the railway line and came across Fullers, looked nice from the outside so went in, we were greeted by "we close at 3", my reply "we have time for a coffee then". What on earth are Fullers playing at, in the fifteen minutes we were sat in the cafe, we had coffee and cake, a young guy had burger and a bun, a lady with a child bought a selection of cakes and a man bought some biscuits, so why on earth are they closing at 3 on a Saturday Afternoon. To make things worse for our visit, one of the young lasses mopped the floor round us, we took the hint, drunk up and left. To be fair the coffee was good and the cakes were fresh.

I always loved this pub. I ordered the belly pork dish which was £17 - expensive for me but I thought there will be be a piece of crackling , instead there were two fatty pieces. Not a good look or taste. I regretted buying it but didn’t complain either to staff. Don’t recommend it.

Dirty table and menus when seated our selves at this establishment, no one cleaned the table and it was sticky and so was most of the menus around the tables.

Trabajé unos turnos aquí con mi amigo. Cuando entré en mi primer turno, la mujer que dirigía el lugar ni siquiera sabía quién era yo. Me preguntó si estaba “comiendo o sacando”. Le dije que me había contratado unos días antes y me dijo groseramente que subiera y me dio un delantal roto. Recibí £ 6 por trabajar 4 horas, sin incluir propinas. Cuando cada miembro del personal recibió sus propinas, la anciana hizo que todos dieran propinas y las dividió entre todos, dejándome con una propina de 50 p. El lugar era antihigiénico y frío helado. Había comida en el suelo y parecía que no había sido limpiada. El lugar estaba polvoriento y muy desatendido. El personal era grosero y era en general un lugar horrible para trabajar. No recomendaría en absoluto. Genuinamente asqueroso.
