Little cafe. Snacks were ok a tea and coffee tasted very good, but had to wait a long time to be made and delivered to table. Also tables not cleaned, a chair covered in spilt drink seemed to be ignored and not cleaned. Pity front of house let's this cafe down.

An unpretentious diner, quickish food, but you don't go to this sort of eatery for haut cuisine . Had their omelette, chips and salad which was fine. Mugs of tea are only £1.85 which is dirt cheap for tea these days. You don't get ripped off here but you have to get your own cutlery from the counter, it ain't brought to you with the meal which happens in most similar places. But beware the toilet. Just one, upstairs, seat wasn't attached to the bowl , so a safety risk that needs fixing soon. Not well decorated and that's putting it charitably. Probably no worse than many other places in Bridlington .

After calling in for a quick spot of lunch a couple of days before, we thought we'd call back for another bite to eat. The jacket potato with chilli and cheese before was fantastic, even the side salad was enjoyed. This time I went for the Loaded Chips and wow what a surprise. Chips (proper chips, not fries or frozen) with cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms and peppers, and plenty of it. Past The Pantry a few times over the years and didn't really notice it, but will definitely be back when next in Bridlington. Food was tasty and great value for money. Staff were friendly which is a great bonus. Keep up the good work all at The Pantry.

Went to this cafe yesterday ,i ordered a medium breakfast, plenty of food on the plate but it was just swimming with bean juice and tomato juice it looked like a pile of slop, had a couple of nibbles at it but it put me right off. My wife and sister ordered scrambled egg on toast, again plenty on the plate but it was absolutely sopping with water making the toast a soggy mess ,disgusting. Needless to say it was all left. Minus five stars. We wont be going there again thats for sure.

I think it's safe to say that if you've got a standard classical English taste bud, the Pantry is not going to disappoint, even if it doesn't reinvent the wheel in any way (not does it really purport to, to be honest). It's got a selection of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and all the general classic UK dishes, with cooked meals on as a special. The prices are amazing and affordable. The food is fine - nothing special, but nothing bad whatsoever either. My wife had a prawn cocktail jacket and it looked delicious. The decor is a but rough and ready but don't let that put you off. We found a warmer experience here than in a lot of places that day. I can recommend hopping in here for a jacket potato or what not, before seeing what else Bridlington can offer, but come with the expectation that it's good we'll priced food but it's going to give no bells and whistles (nor does it need to!).

I have just spent four days in Bridlington for a quick break and the best meal I had in those four days was at the Pantry. I have been a chef for 65 years and my tastes are simple as are my wife's. I often have ham egg and chip's frequently 1 broken egg frozen chips and supermarket sliced ham. So imagine my surprise when I was given my meal the chips were home sliced potatoes for ships 2 yes 2 perfectly cooked fried eggs and the ham was real boiled ham and a good portion as well. This was far and away the best meal I have had in a long time' A big well done to the chef and if ever i am in Bridlington again I will have all my meals atb the Pantry

Sarah was very attentive. The rest of the staff need to be trained by her. On booking to see if we could have a table the man wasn't, quite in the room

We waited an hour for eggs and toast. Owner only cared about Door Dash orders going out the door. Given that Courtenay has so many great casual dining places, give this one a pass. Give your business to restaurants that care about providing good service to their customers.

Called in tonight as seen family pub and dogs welcome on their sign.....just our street. Well. Absolutely gobsmacked with the prices, cheep and cheerful. Brie, as discussed as in the cheese, absolute delight, what a barmaid! Signposted me to everything I was drinking and offers, could jot have asked more of her, saleswoman in the making! We will be back, with child and dog 😊 cannot recommend any higher

Went today for lunch , I decided i was having soup , they said it was the last portion so that was fine , I asked for no bread which , when it came it was the smallest half bowl of soup for £6.25 , I didn’t want anything knocking off for not having the bread but did expect a full dish, looking at the menu I could of had a small breakfast, or sandwich for about the same price , it’s soup where do they get over £6 for it!!
