The best restaurants serving British food in West Midlands

Called in for breakfast sat down while my wife look at the offers I went to look for the toilet disgusted that the did not provide one and was told there was one 200 meters away. Walked out and went somewhere else with facilities, staff not helpful don’t go.

My daughter ordered a booba tea. The pearls in the tea were very few. When my daughter asked for more pearls, she was told they provide 20 perls. The topioca perls were horrible. I'm not sure if you can count the perls. They should have apologised if there were no perls. My daughter has mentioned that she will never go to Ardens.

Now a Community Owned Pub and pop up cafe. Cafe is Saturday 12-6pm, and the Pub Fridays and Saturdays 6-10pm. Outstanding place and people. Today they also had the local OriginPizzadotcom. Amazing food, fantastic community, must visit.

We were drawn in to visiting this bakery from the cakes, pastries & breads displayed in the window, which all looked very inviting. There was a sizeable queue of people, which suggested the place was popular. It only took a few minutes until we were served and the staff were friendly. My brother enjoyed his danish pastry, and the custard cronuts which my Mum & I had were delicious, some of the best doughnut-type cakes we’ve had! Would definitely return another time to sample more!

We were staying at the premier inn next door and we love our local beefeater and this place definitely maintained the high standards we like. Margaret was our server for breakfast and dinner and she was a complete star. She sorted my slightly off menu order with the chef no bother at all. She and all the staff were so friendly and helpful, great food and great service what more can you ask.

Went here for our wedding anniversary meal. My husband's steak was fine. My vegan pasta dish came with normal parmesan cheese on ( I am checked it was vegan before I ordered and it clearly stated vegan on the menu), replaced with weak bland tomato soup with pasta in, that was taken away and replaced with the other vegan option of burger and chips. Picked the burger up and it literally dripped a pool of oil/water onto the wooden board it came on. No sauce dressing which it said on the menu. The waiter and manager were very polite and professional. Chef needs retraining or sacking! I ended up with a Tesco meal deal in the hotel room. Avoid if vegan

Daytime visit for lunch. Place wasn't too loud or crowded, which was great for me. Tables were all clean and cleared very quickly. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Drinks were nice and food was great and didn't take long to arrive. One fish and chips and a crazy chicken bacon burger! Both were excellent. Order was spot on. This was my first visit, and I'd definitely go again to try some of the other things on the menu. TYVM

Excellent food at normalish prices. £19 for a burger, which was fantastic, fish and chips also really good. Great home made chips. Wonderful views of the river aswell. Best meal out for a long while.

Halfway House B & B is conveniently situated between Worcester and Great Malvern. Our room was clean and spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. Bottles of water were also available. The host was friendly and served a great breakfast.

Pre-booked a table for x6 of us, Lovely staff, delicious homemade lasagne & chips, generous portions, very good service & value for money. What more could you ask for!

Fabulous food, very enjoyable, delivered quickly, hot and tasty food, great value for money , excellent service , would highly recommend for a good old fashioned fish n chips .
