Went here for our wedding anniversary meal. My husband's steak was fine. My vegan pasta dish came with normal parmesan cheese on ( I am checked it was vegan before I ordered and it clearly stated vegan on the menu), replaced with weak bland tomato soup with pasta in, that was taken away and replaced with the other vegan option of burger and chips. Picked the burger up and it literally dripped a pool of oil/water onto the wooden board it came on. No sauce dressing which it said on the menu. The waiter and manager were very polite and professional. Chef needs retraining or sacking! I ended up with a Tesco meal deal in the hotel room. Avoid if vegan

Wonderful garden patio with views of the river and mature plants. Sunny and shady areas with lots of space. Only stopped for a few drinks so cannot comment on the food or accommodation. But the venue and cottages looked nice and well kept.

We had a dreadful family lunch at the Diglis conservatory restaurant. We have been several times before and the food was excellent. The chef has changed and we waited over 40 minutes for soggy lukewarm beef and Stilton pies and indifferent crab and prawn linguine. The restaurant was clean and the waitress was very pleasant. We will not return and would most definitely no longer recommend this restaurant.

The view of the river from this restaurant is superb. Also the service was attentive and cannot be faulted. However the food could have been better. In a restaurant like this, I would not have expected to be served burnt toast with both the soup and the mushroom starters. In addition, the chips were served with salt crystals attached to them - not good for someone trying to reduce their salt intake! You can easily add salt to a meal if required but, once added, it is impossible to remove it from a dish.

I'd recently had Sunday lunch here, superb. So I brought my friends to celebrate a birthday. Starter was good. I paid extra to have a steak. What a disappointment. Found it under a huge pile of rocket and mushroom. Tender but not worthy of all the money I paid out. Chips were nice. Pavlova desert didn't taste home made; no nice sticky middle. Too large, too much hard meringue. Won't go again.

The staff are miserable. I have been several times to buy cakes.Their cakes are good, trifles synthetic, hot food quite good for meat eaters but why oh why have the staff not been able to smile and converse in a service industry way. Are they on slave labour wages or just not trained or all depressed?

We took friends here last year and had an amazing meal. Decided to go back. Food was rather dry with very little gravy on the Sunday roast. Parsnip was a little under cooked. Staff were friendly enough but not the best food and probably won’t return.

I only go for the quiz. I've been going for a few years to this pub. It was refurbished about 10years ago, but it's now looking very tired and needs more investment. The toilets are awful, and need a full refurb, the bar is OK, but the flooring is uneven and has some hardboard down where there is clearly a problem. There are better pubs in Worcester now. The food is average for pub food. It's not fine dining.
