Very helpful staff, plenty of room, good atmosphere and good food at reasonable prices. Have visited a few times now and consistently an enjoyable experience.

Me and my friend had a lovely meal, the drinks were served very fast and Ryan was very friendly behind the bar despite how busy it was. The food came quick enough considering how many other tables there were, it was hot and very nice.

We came for Christmas lunch, I could not fault the team, they couldn’t do enough for us. Overall our Christmas Day was just brilliant! Sorry for the late review but we went away on Boxing Day and we’ve only just come home! Fantastic day!

Staff were very attentive and obliging. The menu was fairly typical for this type of family/pub establishment. Overall a convenient and welcoming place to eat.

Excellent food. Food came within 20 minutes of ordering. Service was quick and efficient. The team was friendly and would take the time to interact with a lone guest like myself and make my visit that extra bit special. Overall I highly recommend this pub.

We went on Christmas day it was too warm no air con,food wasn't upto standard veg too hard,no gravy boat just a small amount of gravy. Prawn cocktail too much sauce not enough prawns,desert wasn't great either,was dissapointed considering what we paid.

We visit the barn owl regularly and the service is great, they have a good team who make us feel welcome. My mum came with us on our latest visit and she hadn't been to the barn owl for about 10 years as her last visit she had a bad experience. After alot of encouragement and by telling her our good experiences she finally said she would try the barn owl again. My mum had a lovely meal and I think now she will visit the barn owl again. Thank you to Amy and the team for making our experience great yet again.

No matter what day of the year, Amy and the team at the Barn Owl are welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble and service is always with a smile, even at the busiest times. From the kids’ birthdays to those of the grown ups, the staff always celebrate our achievements and share our milestones.

Staff were very friendly and we were given a table with plenty of room, not cramped. Food was well presented and served promptly. Good quality, good service and good value for money. Highly recommend.

Lovely meal for my Dad’s birthday today.

The food was terrible, I had a baguette which was dry and stale - the staff member said "well it is toasted". The amount of filling minimal. No salad all for over £8. Male staff wore shorts, other staff were overbearing with my 7 year old daughter. A really bad experience

Very relaxed, efficient, friendly and helpful staff.

It's always a good meal at the barn owl and have been many times. This time there was a lack of meat on the plate for the festive meal. Good service and pleasant staff as always.

Had early Christmas Dinner with all our family, The food was cold and bland, it took an hour for our main course to arrive, my husband said it was the worse gravy he had ever tasted.

Breakfast with santa was fab he had lots of time for the children and made my son laugh a lot. My son is picky with food but the staff were great and he had pancakes which was best breakfast ever he said. Thank you merry christmas 🎅

We did Breakfast for Santa this morning was a lovely experience. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was £10 each which was a cooked breakfast which was delicious. The Santa experience for our daughter was lovely and didn't feel rushed and plenty of time with Santa and a lovely little gift. We booked for 9am which the start time, which we were glad we did before it got too busy. Would def recommend for breakfast with Santa and nice to have this pub on the doorstep to where we live and within walking distance!

Considering it Christmas nothing was spared for our visit. Atmosphere, service food and drink spot on.

It's been a few years since I visited here, and the food is absolutely lovely. Will come back again in the not so distant future

Service was quick but having the mixed grill which I thought would be good. 4oz steak was tough Sausages we're bland Chicken fillet was dry A table spoon of pea Teaspoon of chopped mushroom. Gammon was dry to. Noisy atmosphere.

Quick service for drinks and food. Staff were helpful and went the extra mile for my 4 year old, putting her gravy in a separate bowl and adding whipped cream to her ice cream.

Had a wonderful staff Christmas meal here. Food was fab at excellent prices. Staff amazing- really nice atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Pleasant but not spectacular local pub with food. Nice pint of Hobgoblin. Sadly the Hobgoblin is no more, but the Wainwright's sent down smoothly with a burger and chips. Improved food and service over last visit.

Amy and her team at The Barn Owl go above and beyond. We were very large group in for the festive menu and nothing was any trouble. They double checked specific allergies and the food was great. Considering how large a group we were, all of the food came out together and the staff were all very attentive.

Great food friendly staff this is our go to place in Worcester. Can even bring our little dog!

Had a super meal here last night. 2 of my party had food from Festive menu, and 2 of us chose from the general menu. The service was fist class, a big thankyou to Lucy and Shannon for their attentative service. Booked to go back later in the week.

Food was great. Atmosphere was family friendly. Service was good but could have been a little faster and more attentive.

A great dog friendly pub. We booked online at the last minute, after a walk around Worcester Country Park. The Barn Owl is a very nice, friendly pub. The staff were very accommodating and welcomed us and our dog at the door, our table for 12 was ready straight away and considering our booking was last minute, our food was very quick and the quality was great. We ordered some pigs in blankets for the dog and they even gave him some biscuits while we waited for food. 10/10 Such a nice relaxed atmosphere. Thank you

Food average over priced all the buns on the kids burgers were hard I imagine these have been left under hot plate and the glass of coke was 3,/4 filled with ice

From booking to paying everything was great. We were a party of 18. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating to our needs. There was a wide range of food choices and some members of our group appreciated the availability of smaller portions. The food was served in good time after ordering and Peter, the waiter for our table, was attentive throughout our meal. The portions were good and we enjoyed our various meals. A clean environment, happy atmosphere and good value!

Extremely fast service, we were quickly seated, and when we were seated, we were immediately asked what drinks we would like, I wish we had more time to look as we didn't even know what drinks were available then. The immediate reception into getting us our drinks just moments after we ordered them is commended, however the demand to immediately order food after receiving them was alarming given we weren't even given substantial menus! Nothing to complain about for the wait for our food, although there is stuff to say about the food itself. One of our party was missing over 1/4 of her meal, which was on the menu, and not an add on. The part of the missing meal later arrived on a separate plate. (Gammon steak was missing the egg and pineapple) I asked for an upgrade for having extra cheese on my burger, however, our waiter must have misheard, as I then got brought out mozzarella bites separately, and instead of being charged an extra 79p, we were charged £5.79. And I also had bacon on my burger i ordered, but it was extremely dehydrated. And to no exagguration, looked like cardboard. Another member of our party, originally ordered turkey, however, they were out of stock, so it was switched to chicken, but the chicken was apparently very dry, and it lacked a lot of red cabbage, which was promised on the menu. Our party also felt that our waiter was not very welcoming, and that he wanted our table to be out of the way, and it did not feel very inviting. It felt like he was annoyed to serve us. And when we recieved the bill, we were shocked to discover that our colas were over £4 for a pint, which we would have avoided ordering if we had recieved that knowledge earlier. To be honest, you get what you pay for, and charged a little extra.

The Barn Owl could cater for our large group. The food was all ordered before hand and was waiting for us when we arrived. Thank you.

Went for 18th birthday meal, service from Pete was great even with multiple large tables to serve.

Food was okay, service was very very slow and they weren't even that busy. The staff are not the nicest either and I think prices were too high for what we had.

This was the first time we visited your restaurant. Our son is blind and attends New College Worcester. We found your restaurant very accessible and staff very friendly and accommodating. Peter served us and was an excellent ambassador for your restaurant. His service was swift and informative and I noticed he was very respectful in the way upsold items from the menu without any pressure, but just enough to encourage us to consider customising our chosen food. We found the restaurant offer very good value for money and the quality of the food excellent. We regularly visit our son at his residential school and we will definitely be back again.

Genuinely lovely. Discovered by accident as let down by a different local establishment and found lovely staff and great food. Well done!

This was our first visit to The Barn Owl whilst we were staying in Worcester overnight. We were escorted to a table by a young lad from the bar area. As we were chatting a young lady approached the table with a very pleasant smile and presence. This young lady was so welcoming and very friendly with her mannerisms. Very professional and can also adapt to banter with the customers. A breath of fresh air with Dani, a proper people person. Credit were credit is due. Food was top quality, hot and enjoyable. Great first visit to this establishment and would recommend to our family and friends if they visit Worcester.

First time here. Shannon was our server and made us feel very welcome. Food was pretty good and value for money. No complaints and will recommend and come back soon!!

We booked a table for 13 for my daughters birthday and on arrival we were a bit worried as it was so busy but we had the best time. The food and service was impeccable, we were told there was a 45 minute wait on the food but it came within 30 minutes which was amazing with how many large parties they were accommodating. The food was tasty and the portions were good. Couldn't fault them, a fabulous evening.

We both had steak, my husband had a problem with his, this was rectified immediately and the only damper on the evening was we didn't eat together. Service prompt and friendly.

Booked a midday table for lunch with my son . Glad I'd pre-booked as restaurant busy even mid week. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Welcomed and taken to our table by Greg, who took our drinks and food order and was very friendly and efficient. My Hunters chicken and sons Cowboy burger came out in a decent time . Well presented, fresh and very tasty. Rocky Road Sundae and Apple crumble with custard for deserts were also delicious. As it was an enjoyable dining experience , I now have a return visit booked here with friends for a lunchtime meal in a couple of weeks time.

Edited as visited again in November 2024 for lunch. Once again good food and very friendly efficient service from Greg who greeted us on arrival, and made sure we had everything we wanted for our meals and drinks. Glad we had pre-booked our table for 2 as the restaurant was quite full , even mid week . Both Mains and Deserts were well presented and very tasty. Pre-booked our table for a meal and drinks on a tuesday evening to celebrate sons birthday and all 3 of us really enjoyed it. So impressed with the food , drinks and service that we've booked a table for my birthday next tuesday as well. Nice friendly greeting from bar staff on arrival . We all chose different dishes for our 3 courses and throughly enjoyed each one. Draught beers and ciders kept well. Food came well presented , hot and well cooked. All the servers were pleasant and efficient . Lovely atmosphere, good service and really tasty food and drink made for a really good birthday celebration evening. Looking forwards to our return visit to celebrate my birthday next week now !

Food was good and hot. Staff were friendly and very helpful when my wife and I were trying to find each other. Both welcomed and wished a good evening on our departure. All the tables were clean and clear of dirty dishes or glasses. Altogether a pleasant and "personal" atmosphere. Well done

We came for food and drinks, i had a mixed grill with extra scampi and my partner had chicken tikka masala it was fab!! our servers were Lucy H and Kelly, they couldn’t do enough for us! We will be returning

Really nice and spacious pub, with a good sized garden space with some climbing frames for the kids. The food was very good and varied. We have a number of food requirements in our group (vegetarian, gluten free, and dairy free needs). The menus were excellent across all these requirements, and the service couldn't have been better or more attentive. Our waitress, Kelly, was exceptional and friendly throughout our visit. The pub has a dog, which is just another bonus, as we love dogs. We will definitely be coming back soon.

We love going to Barn Owl the food is always good and great price. The service was excellent Peter is a credit to the team and really knows his stuff I was very impressed. He really is a people person and does such a great job nothing is too much for him.

This was the spot that was equal travel distance between my family in Leicester and my brother in Bath. We could see from the pictures it had what we needed...garden and play area for our kids, good pub food and parking. We were sooo happy when we got there. Kelly was very welcoming and chilled with us. Teddy the pup was adorable. And we were taken aback at the variety of vegetarian dishes and the allergy menu. That allergy menu gave my sister in law such a wonderful sense of normality, which is so often lacking at other places. We quickly agreed that it is a gem of a place and we will be back. Thank you so much! The vibe was great and the facilities easy and accessible. Unsure exactly when, but we will definitely be back

Amazing service there was 16 of us it was a quick service and food was arrived altogether was hot fresh .couldn't fault any of our service and it was extremely busy..All staff were attentive..fast efficient service..

Poor service! Never got side order. Manager said would be taken off bill. Got bill and was still there eventually the manager removed this item. Then later when I got home I realised that whoever was taking payment added back on without telling me so over charged us. This is all after asking for our side 5 times! My advice is to avoid this place, but if you do go make sure you check everything 3 times as apparently they just add money on to card machine without telling you!

One very friendly member of staff, Shaun, was amazing. The other member of staff seemed totally inconvenienced by our presence and treated us with distain. Food took a long time to came and coffee was cold on arrival.
