Jamjar in Birmingham

One of the best dessert places in the world. The food is delicious, the waiters are really good, the place is usually clean (we’re regular customers).

Literally the best cookie dough in Birmingham. Not to mention their old school desserts they're incredible. The crumbliest apple crumble, the chocolatiest concrete. Absolute perfection in the desserts. 😍 Soooo much better than Heavenly Desserts or Haute Dolci! Jamjar is my number one choice every time! Came back today but saw they were closed.. hope that's not permanent closed because I will genuinely be heartbroken. No one does desserts like them!

Totally disgusted at how rude the waiter with long curly hair was. I asked him to replace rotten strawberries with fresh ones and he got very rude. Seeing how busy the place is they should invest some time cleaning the place as it’s an absolute filth. Will definitely not go back again but instead be going to heavenly deserts on lady pool road much better and clean then this s*** hole. The shop is filthy as some of the staff. Learn some manners and how to speak to people I one for sure will never set foot in there again. Rude disrespectful waiter and dirty s*** hole.

Quedé muy impresionado con el servicio que me brindó en Jam Jars en particular por Shamil, quien me atendió a mí y a mis amigos de inmediato. A pesar de lo ocupado que estaba el lugar, nos ofrecieron una mesa bastante rápido, Shamil tomó en consideración que mi amigo llevaba un niqaab y nos ofreció asientos convenientes para acomodar esto. Estaba muy feliz de que incluso encontrara un lugar para orar también, Alhamdolillah. Un joven tan encantador que hizo que nuestra experiencia fuera muy agradable. ¡Sigan con el buen trabajo para todo el personal de Jam Jars, ya que siempre los postres estuvieron a punto!

Fuimos a Jamjar's después del cierre por primera vez. Mi hijo quería usar el baño, no podía creer lo sucio que estaba el lavabo, la suciedad alrededor del grifo y el agua por todo el piso, no lo podía creer. Informé a uno de los miembros del personal, pero luego pedí hablar con el gerente, pero me dijeron que no estaba disponible cuando estaba sentado en una de las mesas. Mi sobrino luego pidió usar el inodoro, el piso estaba mojado, no se usaron conos de advertencia de piso mojado, pero el baño se había limpiado, incluido el lavabo. Por mucho que sea un buen café de postres, los propietarios obviamente no se preocupan por la higiene, limpieza y seguridad de sus clientes en el actual brote de pandemia mundial, lo que me hace preguntarme cómo es la higiene de su cocina.

The desserts were delivered very quickly. The desserts were still fresh on delivery. Would highly recommend there Cookie dough which Jam Jar is famous for.

Great waffles, service really good but didn’t take card payment, didn’t mention until after had to pay. Cash machines not working in local area so had to leave family to drive to cash point. Staff did say I could take family with me, trusted me to come back which was nice. Definitely return, kids loved their desserts.... just say up front if it’s cash only, it’s 2020, people hardly keep cash on them.

Visited this place only yesterday for the 1st Had such a bad experience, was too busy with rubbish service and rude staff who wasn’t willing you to listen ended up having nothing ,definitely not going again 👎🏻

We had the peanut butter stack- This was really really tasty! This was the only item we ordered as my friend has been there before and she said that they ordered three desserts and that was the nicest by far.

So after an awful experience for main meal some where else, we came here for dessert it’s been a few years since I last visited this place. We decided to order the waffles Raffaello, with added strawberries and milk chocolate sauce as well as the white.... result? Sheer bliss! Still craving more right now. You will not be disappointed, prices reasonable, service very friendly very good. You pay on your way out, plenty of seating downstairs and upstairs- They don’t accept card cash only though. Would I go again? Defo yes! This is now our new fav dessert place Would I recommend it? Yes definitely!

I cannot believe this experience first of all, I have come with my family all the way from Luton and a staff member almost hit my little brother with a chair also threw water on my sister. The manager with the beard didn’t want to understand us when customers are always right! Never again. Whoever is reading this we are the table of 9 that came in. Table number 21.
