Visité aquí para unas copas. El personal es cálido y amable y las bebidas tienen un precio razonable. La comida huele muy bien, pero tristemente en esta ocasión no comimos, pero planeamos volver ya que olía tan bien. Los inodoros son absolutamente asquerosos, el único armario en el mens ha estado fuera de servicio durante meses. Parece que nunca se limpian.

Pedí un domingo asado cada uno y honestamente fue la mejor carne que he probado. Cuando lo compré por primera vez pensé que no parecía mucho y compraron la verdura por separado. Vale la pena el dinero, y definitivamente mucho en el plato. Definitivamente volverá.

Biriani de pollo con solo 3 trozos de pollo, la porción de salsa de curry se ha reducido a un cuarto de lo que solía obtener. Parece que la reducción de costos se llevó al máximo. He visitado el Lancaster varias veces antes de esta visita. Incluso recomiendo este lugar a la familia y amigos. Pero siento decir que no volveré de nuevo. Era como comer solo un tazón de arroz, la salsa no estaba lo suficientemente cerca como para cubrir el arroz. Menú limitado en un domingo a la hora de la cena! hamburguesa de pollo nada especial definitivamente no vale £ 10. 99 ! El asado del domingo se veía bien, pero no sabía tan bien! Sobre todo la comida no valía la pena el precio. ¡Bebidas caras! Personal amable, pero salte a la mesa clara tan pronto como baje el cuchillo y el tenedor, incluso cuando otros todavía comen!

Went for a family meal after seeing new menu (Indian &English), food was fantastic and so was the service. I would highly recommend this pub if you are looking for great food and a great atmosphere.

Have now made this my fairly regular Saturday 13-00 lunch venue. The Indian menu is superb and I have now tried some 12 different dishes and many of them I have given 9 or 10 out of 10 including all Jalfrezi dishes, Saffron Chicken and the large mixed grill with naan bread. The lamb dishes are also good but the lamb is chewy and they need a new supplier. Service is always very friendly, welcoming and efficient. I cannot speak for their Main Menu (British) as I have never tried it.

After reading the reviews we felt positive we made a good choice for our Friday takeaway treat. Had a large mixed grill to share; poppadoms, selection of chilli sauce which was the best, mango chutney was way too sweet (and I have a sweet tooth) and the yogurt mint dip tasted like chewing gum: was horrible - never tasted anything like it in my life.

This was my second visit to the Indian menu. Opened at 13-00 on Saturday and chose my favourite Jalfrezi curry, this time chicken with pulao rice. Service was fast, professional and friendly as my first time. The Jalfrezi was the best I have had for many years and was eaten to the last drop. A senior couple near me had the large mixed grill that they shared and they said they had it every week and was both excellent and good value. Will certainly be going there quite regularly as the weather gets better.

Terrible service half the food was missing from the order on delivery, called to see where it was told he would check. Never called back so we chased again and said he will call back only to tell us it had gone from then and nothing they could do. No offer to call the driver to check, re deliver or recook. Just said sorry goodbye! The driver also left it on the slabs outside our house and walked off. Be wary when ordering! They won't do anything about it if your order missing.

Our experience enjoyable. Food was excellent couldn't fault it. Sam our waitress was friendly she went above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly come again.

I went for the first time today, and I must say the food was excellent. We were a group of five and we all enjoyed our meals. I personally ordered off the Indian menu and had the mixed grill which was top-notch. Also,,Sam, who looked after us, was friendly, helpful and attentive. A***** for Sam.

don’t recommend the crispy belly pork, dripping with grease, full of fat. Vegetables with hard. Only edible item was the mash with the egg cup of gravy. Ordered a coke and it tasted like soda water. 0/10

We had stopped going to the Lancaster after our previous last two visits, which had ended with us giving up on getting served and leaving. The bar was always full of dirty glasses, aswell as tables and the bar staff (minus the older gentleman) seemed to prioritise the customers who were likely regulars..but had arrived at the bar after us. We saw the place was under new management so decided to give it a go! The food options are great! There is a main menu aswell as a full indian menu. We ordered from the indian menu and it did not disapoint! Food came quickly, hot and was very well priced. Staff are attentive, you can tell they really care about your customer experience. 100% will be coming again for the football, food or a quickly served pint!!!

Drinks were fine, curry was ok, nothing special. Overcharged twice for drinks. I questioned it the second time but got shrugged shoulders even though my friends paid £4 less for the same round earlier. Suggest if you visit you check.

Since going into new ownership it has drastically gone down hill. There is no atmosphere anymore and is unwelcoming. Prices have sky rocketed making them dearer than any other pub which we would be prepared to pay but now they have altered their serving times and are even chaining off and padlocking fire doors before kicking out time meaning if the worse should happen there is no means of easy escape will not be revisiting.

Lovely and nicely decorated since I was last in under old owners. We loved the old pictures that were up. Very welcoming to me and my friend. Glad they had sweet martini in for her, it's her favourite. Food was lovely, but would like to see a Sunday roast on the menu. Atmosphere was great watching the football which we both loved.

Went to Lancaster on Christmas day for 5 coarse meal. Food was excellent, service excellent. Great idea having two sittings, each course was served when we were ready. Thank you to Tracey and all the staff for their hard work.

I am gluten and lactose intolerance and have never been able to go out for Christmas dinner before as it is very difficult to get someone to commit to cater properly without costing the earth. Lancaster was doing Christmas lunch at five courses for £39.99 which is very reasonable. I spoke to manger Tracey and although the pub are unable to provide a gluten free menu she agreed that she could cater for me by writing down all the things I couldn’t have and what alternatives she needed to buy. Tracey specifically shopped for products I could eat and called me prior to the day to confirm what she could and couldn’t get. I took my own Christmas pudding ,Yorkshire pudding , gravy and lactose free cheese , which wasn’t a problem at all as they ate things I have in all the time but Tracey insisted on compensating with a free round of drinks which was lovely. Helen, the cook came out to speak to me on various occasions to confirm what I could and couldn’t have to ensure safety was maintained. All the staff are friendly and you get an amazing warm welcome. Tracey is brilliant and although we haven’t been regulars long she makes us welcome and recognised on every visit. Thank you to all

There was 13 of us that went for xmas meal on the 10th dec 2022, we had a lovley time staff was so pleasant nothing was too much for them. Some had main menu some had xmas meal and food was lovely, big portions and nice and warm.. would definitely recommend this place and will be visitng again soon. Thank you.

We arrived just as the grills were being switched off as we had to come off the M5 and were looking for somewhere to eat. The manager was lovely and switched the grills back on. We had a very nice meal and the staff couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. Highly recommended

Went into The Lancaster yesterday as we couldn't get in elsewhere so thought we would try it out. Was very impressed. The staff were so very friendly and welcoming to us. Food was excellent and went out of their way to help us with the baby. Very good value for money but the food was very good too. Would certainly recommend this place and will certainly be going back there. Thank you to the lovely staff.

Well what can I say? My family and I visit the lancaster for all of our special occasions. The food is great and service mirrors this. The manager and her team consistently go over and above to make my family and I feel welcome. The food was great, the steaks in particular were cooked to perfection. We really enjoy visiting, and each time we leave looking forward to returning. We recently visited for my partners 50th birthday. 14 starters, mains & some desserts went down great, the food was fantastic. Not to mention the Gin selection...wow! Thanks again to the team at the Lancaster we looking forward to returning!

This is by far the worst pub i have ever had the misfortune to step into. The manager poured me a glass of red wine, when i tasted it it was awful when i complained the women said their was nothing wrong with it. I asked if i could speak to the manager and to my horror this scruffy person who had served me laughed and said she was the manager. So i asked if their was anyone else and she grinned and said no!!! So i gave her my wine back snd said keep it. Thst to her wss ok!!! I was disgusted. So i sat their with my sister for 40 mins without a drink. The mansger as i walked to the table was talking to customers about the wine and they all laughed, makung me feel embarrassed for complaining. I approached her agaim when she passed our table and said how wrong it was that id paud for a drink snd got nothing and she said i can go and get you the wine you left and i said it tasted funny so why would i drink it. She again said their is nothing wrong with it. She said no one else had complained and that it wss fresh opened bottle, even though mine was the last of the wine in rhe bottle so she lied about that and got embarrassed when i said id had the last. Anyway i will never ever step foot in the door again u will never recommend it to anyone , the toilets were disgustingly dirty too you need to jump in a shower after been in this place. I felt dirty , i couldnt wsit to get out the place. If my sister hadn't ordered a pint id have left straight away.

When my daughter surprised me on mother's day, travelling up from the South West. After many years of not spending this very special day together. She had made a booking at this place for lunch. On arrival, i noticed how empty it was 12.15pm, we looked at the menus and i chose a roast beef lunch along with my grandson. Everyone else chose other various meals, When it was put in front of me my husband who has been a chef for 30years, immediately said that's a microwave, frozen meal not freshly cooked, the roast potatoes were soft, had no taste or flavour, the mashed potato was a tiny portion and the best-tasting item on the plate. Veg was totally disgusting, hard cold broccoli, they would be better off not doing a roast dinner if this rubbish is all they can provide. Either cook a roast from fresh, not hotel roast potatoes either (deep fried) or forget it. even my young grandson who had a childs meal would not eat his sausage on his meal saying it tasted nasty again (deep fried ) the steak was tough,, never before have I seen menu not say what steak it was you were ordering but here its just steak, not rump, or sirlion my advice go elsewhere where they actually employ a chef with catering experience

Haven’t been here for around 20 years despite it being on my door step. Popped in for a spot of lunch with my daughter and it was lovely, staff are friendly but there could have done with an extra pair of hands on as the person serving the drinks was the same person serving the food. Toilets were ok but the radiator was thick of dust. Some of the doors need a touch up of paint or a push plate. However food was lovely

The food arrived barely warm, the mashed potatoes were sloppy and the traditional vegetables had diced red peppers in them. The desert that one of the party had had been microwaved for too long and was dried out and hard. The ones who had these meals did not complain at the time as they did not want to upset the rest of the party so as to not make it a bad atmosphere for the others.

What can I say we came for Xmas dinner we left half way through our courses, I wouldn't recommend, really put a downer on our day, lovely with starter, we all thought this was going to be lovely if the starter was anything to go by, we was wrong, service went really slow, main meal, all veg was hard, stuffing balls you could break a window with, there was more fat on our turkey than meat, we wasn't allowed our desserts until all tables were served with mains, never known this before, other places we haven't had to wait until everyone had main delivered, so we waited 45 minutes til dessert, that was a disappointment on 3 out of 5 desserts we had, we left them we thought we are not going to hang around until all desserts were given out to all tables, until we was allowed our next course, we left and didn't have our next two lots of courses, it took two and a half ours just for 3 courses and we still had two more to go, we probably would of been there another two hours or mpre, not good when you have children to entertain on our table, I did complain, but all they said was sorry, also both men's and ladies toilets were disgusting and the smell oh my god

Both me and my wife haven't been in this pub for years.. it did have a shaky reputation for its food last time we went and it's certainly lived up to that rep at the time... it got taken over and refurbed by a new chain a few years ago and they certainly seemed to have picked up the game!.. the pub is clean, well decorated and with a good variety of beers and spirits on tap it makes it a nice experience to eat there....

My husband and I often visit for a meal here and have never been disappointed. The sharing planks are great. Good value food served promptly. Staff polite. Have yet to have any issues and we will continue to visit.

Not been in this pub for years, when it was The Albion, but popped in for lunch last week, now that it has changed. The bar person was not particularly friendly, but our food arrived in reasonable time and was as described on the menu. Not fantastic, but adequate. I had asked if I could change the peas on my meal order to baked beans and was told I could, for an extra fee. Since I wanted to change an item, not add an extra, I don't see why this should be charged extra for. Moreover, Stonegate's other pub in the area, the Red Lion, will offer this at no extra charge, so maybe the brewery should make a policy rather than leave it up to the discretion of the pub Management.

Always have a laugh with staff and customers. Came in for all the england world cup games and the atmosphere was awesome. Lovely people around and had such a laugh

My Nan has been a regular at this pub for many years and now only has a small appetite and for the last year or so has ordered the child's meal this time when she ordered she was told off and told she cannot order it again - they do not offer any alternative such as pensioner meal deals which many other establishments do.

Three worst place ever to eat. Had the Sunday roast. Packet mash, tiny potions( I asked if the were childrens) vegetables were all frozen and awful presentation. See for yourself by the photo. William the manager said this was acceptable as they are a value pub. Save your money and go somewhere else.
