The best restaurants serving British food in West Midlands

Ordered a curry, was half way through eating it and I bit into glass. This chipped my front tooth which now I have to go to the dentist for. Rang up sounded like women didn’t believe me and neither did the guy who showed up at the door giving me another curry and wanting the half eaten curry and glass back. Lucky I don’t Sue to get my tooth repaired. Didn’t even eat the curry they delivered the second time in case it had anything in it.

We LOVE this pub! The food is unreal and the staff & owners are so lovely! A real country, friendly pub. 1000% recommend.

We booked a table at short notice on Mothers Day. We were working at the Village Hall over the road, so didn’t have a lot of time to eat. Had a nice table for 2. I expected a bit of a delay because of the Mothers Day bookings, but there were quite a few tables available. It took half an hour for our order to be taken, only then after I had asked for it. We ordered roast beef for my hubby and loin of pork for myself. Another half an hour went by and again I had to ask how long it would take. When the meals finally arrived, both looked beautiful, but the mash on pork loin plate was stone cold. I asked them to deal with it, which they did (took another 10 minutes). When the replacement plate came out it was also stone cold. By this time I told them to cancel my meal. Hubbys meal was ok, but not piping hot, but he ate that. He had ordered a pudding, which we took away and which I ate at the venue over the road. Overall I did expect a delay, but given that there were only a few tables taken, it should have been a lot more efficient I feel. Such a shame as the Kings Head looked lovely.

We were there for Sunday lunch, our first visit. Service was very slow. Starter was ok, but my main of the roast beef was cold. Other members of the party said there vegetables were also cold but did not complain. My dinner was returned and you could tell it had been put in the microwave.Deserts were ok but nothing to shout about. It was decided we wouldn't be returning.

A great place for a party 🥳 Our third family party was hosted in the orangery by Sarah and her wonderful team (Thanks Harry!) and it was a great success. BBQ menu was delicious and everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you again and we highly recommend you for any celebration!

Food is great. love the variety of things available as sides now. Driver was polite & order was quick from placing the order to delivery.

Just went for drinks on a Sunday late afternoon, and what a view from the beer garden looking out on the malvern hills, incredible! Nice selection of beers. Would visit again!

I and 3 others attended the monthly quiz and we were abused by a " local". However the incident was handled very effectively and professionally by the pub owners that we would certainly recommend this pub.

Great food, massive portions and fab service! Even a beautiful gluten free brownie for desert!

Popped in for Lunch, we knew they were open as the door was unlocked & the lights were on, but there was Nobody at home, no staff or customers. Eventually (10 minutes) after repeatedly calling out & wondering around the pub Mrs B found a female member of staff & we finally got served with a much needed drink. We also ordered 2 Toasties with Chips, which were Top Notch Toasties, very very enjoyable. The pub is a lovely little pub & would have easily have got 5 stars if the initial service/welcome had been there.

Only had a drink so can't say how good the food is, friendly service but seriously need to get rid of all the plastic flowers and put the hoover away please. Behind the bar a little messy and a few small DIY jobs could really improve the overall atmosphere.

Popped in for a pint, very expensive,it was ok.

A Great Pub to go to The Atmosphere is Brilliant you can have a great laugh the Bar Staff are always welcome you and go out there way too serve you a very friendly Pub a good old drinking Pub thank you Guys keep up the Amazing work you all do
