Excellent service with a good atmosphere in the bar area lots of choice on the menu we both had fish and chips probably the best batter we have had in years… finished with the trifle… have made the Talbot one of regular venues as it is constantly good and staff exceptional.

The decor is a mixture of old and new. Very happy to see Bathams on tap.

Had the full breakfast with chips as an add on. Fried bread was well over done and cold along with the tasteless sausages and cold beans. We got our breakfast within a minute so obviously had been made a lot earlier and not fresh freshly made. Everything was from frozen like the crinkle chips which from frozen were tasteless, cold and flaky. The eggs had been done a while so were tbh piss poor and the hashbrowns were warm but again all from frozen so bland and tasteless. If I was the chef I would NOT let the food go out in that state.

Went to The Bull & Dog @ Coton for Sunday lunch. Country Pub & restaurant are very nice, warm and welcoming, friendly staff and has a wide menu. We opted for the Sunday lunch, I had the roast pork and the wife had roast beef. Plenty of delicious meat, roasters, swede purée, red cabbage, peas, carrots & cheesy creamed leeks and plenty of gravy. Good quality tasty food, competitively priced. Good choices of dessert and a good range of beers. Definitely be going back.

I would not class this as a 3 star hotel, calling it a hostel would definitely be more appropriate. Hallways smell of must and regret, with a new smell for each hallway. First room was nice and modern but an icebox (zero heating in back section of hotel, radiator leaking/not working), second room we were given was like the shining, hole in door too! Luckily no creepy twins in hallways but that’s my only positive. Full refund given (apart from £15 which they clearly need for refurbs).

Lovely setting and pleasant staff. Priced reasonable. We chose a double afternoon tea. The sandwich were really delicious and fresh. Lots of filling. The scone was hard, but I asked to change and got a delicious warm soft scone as a replacement. Lots of tea and moist light cake. Sensible afternoon tea, not too much cake.

Really great quality food, fresh and great selection of choices. The veggie burger is really nice with a great selection of salads and sauces. Chips are always great quality, cooked fresh and oil is exceptionally clean. Hubby had the mini fish and chips and was really happy with the meal. Would highly recommend.

Been here twice now and both times the service, atmosphere, food, drink and decor were spot on. I highly recommend a visit.

This was our first visit to The Barn Owl whilst we were staying in Worcester overnight. We were escorted to a table by a young lad from the bar area. As we were chatting a young lady approached the table with a very pleasant smile and presence. This young lady was so welcoming and very friendly with her mannerisms. Very professional and can also adapt to banter with the customers. A breath of fresh air with Dani, a proper people person. Credit were credit is due. Food was top quality, hot and enjoyable. Great first visit to this establishment and would recommend to our family and friends if they visit Worcester.
