A lovely local pub, very friendly with a super atmosphere, plenty of seating inside and a great beer garden. Staff were lovely too. Plenty of events planned, advertised on website.

Amazing little treasure ! Went today for the first time, had a quick bite to eat and drink. The lady behind the bar couldn't do enough for us. Fantastic fresh local pork pie and (proper) bite back picked onions. Great little Gem Will defo be back again.🤗

A very welcoming pub. The host was lovely, she came to make sure our dog had some treats and spoke to us for some time about the history of the Falcon Inn. It was worth the drive and we will definitely go back especially when they start doing food.

As a community pub The Falcon Inn really gets it right. They put the community first - being a welcoming place for all ages and interests. In less that 6 months being open they have already done so much. A valuable village asset has been saved.

We have been to a wake today and i must say how lovely and friendly everyone is nothing is to much trouble and the buffet was beautiful fresh sandwiches home made sasauge rolls were amazing thankyou to everyone involved xxxx

THE FALCON IS OPEN!!! The residents of Hinstock Village have pulled together to save The Falcon having successfully applied for an Asset of Community Value. This place has been refurbished to an incredible standard and is back open for drinking. This is a wonderful pub, with a great range of ales, wines and spirits. Dogs welcome and a very friendly reception. So proud that the village has a pub again.

Called in on the way back to Wolverhampton with my youngest daughter the food was brilliant we will be coming back with my other two daughters and my partner have a good new year from kev chloe and family xxx

After a disappointing meal a couple of years ago we have tried the Falcon again several times over the last couple of weeks. Have to say what a massive improvement, the burger meal in the week was very good and after trying their Sunday lunch would now highly recommend. Great to see a chef taking feedback on board and now producing top quality nosh!

We have just tonight had a wonderful dinner for my daughter and son in laws 25th wedding anniversay.The Owners,chief,and staff were brilliant. They went out of their way to accomodate 26 of us. The food was delicious beautifully presented with generous portions and the service was excellent the staff were friendly ,helpful and efficient.We all had a memorable evening so thankyou so much.We will happily recommend this Inn to everyone it's now going to be our favourite eating place.

What can I say best meal I've had! Food was cooked to absolute perfection. Chicken with peppercorn sauce, delightful! The service was great, lovely staff! Definitely recommend this place, you are missing out on a culinary delight if you haven't been. Kudos to the chef and all the staff!! Looking forward to my next visit already.

What an amazing little pub, all the staff especially the chef who comes out for a chat to check everything is okay. Would certainly recommend to anyone.

Lovely hot meal and friendly service

The photographs of the inside flatter the Inn. Booked a table for four for 1.30pm. Food OK but nothing more. The Chef was very pleasant speaking to us after our meal. BUT the other gentleman who took our orders was not really welcoming. (I'm being nice there!). I, in all honesty, could not recommend visiting The Falcon at lunchtime. Sorry.

Roast beef and yorkshire pud for Sunday lunch. Excelent value for money and great atmosphere. Doesn't get much better than this.

Live 10 minutes away and never been until today. Fantastic food, really friendly staff. A must try, very family friendly (I went with 3 children)

We visited for “Italian Night” and couldn’t fault it. We booked a table for 8 and had a fantastic meal, with excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again.

Been here twice on the last two Sundays, first on my own ,then with friends.we eat out all the time I'm no expert but do have thirty year's experience in the trade.These people are doing it right.Pub,clean and warm, beer, spot on,food very good,not run of the mill veg something different done well.prices(The Big One) spot on.These people aren't being greedy.grt along and try it worth every penny.

Visited for Sunday lunch. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Quickly discovered that the food is really freshly cooked - nothing was tired or overcooked which is often the case with Sunday lunches. Generous portions and vegetables cooked to perfection.

11 of us turned up on our bikes at lunchtime & all enjoyed an excellent meal & warm welcome. It was the summer holidays & children ate for free which an added bonus. Would recommend & hope to return again soon.

Reservamos una mesa hace dos semanas para una cena la última noche, 05 / 07. Llegamos temprano para una copa de vino, recoge los menús y se normalizaron para navegar por las opciones. Lo que no nos dijeron en el momento de la reserva era que los miércoles son 'Theme'. Esta noche en particular fue cocina mexicana con opciones muy limitadas. Pedimos el menú principal pero le dijeron que no estaba disponible en las noches temáticas. Decir que nos decepcionó, sería insuficiente. Ahora era el 7. 30 así que no quieres conducir en Newport o volver a Market Drayton de encontrar otro lugar para comer. Elegí Nachos cubierto de había chili y queso que estaban de hecho en chili Doritos cubierto cubierto de queso carne. Mi principal de tortilla, carne desmenuzada, salsa de tomate, arroz y crema agria era igual de decepcionante, ya las opciones de menú. La tortilla en sí era como de cuero. Algunos pueden decir, 'por qué no te quejas? "En primer lugar la elección de platos era limitado. En segundo lugar, yo no quería esperar 30 minutos más para otra principal. Y finalmente, por esta vez lo fue en 8. 30, que tenía hambre. Además, la camarera tiene que ir a un curso de formación en servicio al cliente.

El Falcon es un pub precioso pueblo, con un gran ambiente. Chimeneas y buenas cervezas. Hemos comido aquí varias veces y siempre hemos disfrutado de nuestras comidas. El fin de semana pasado nos fuimos para asado los domingos, pero estamos un poco decepcionados con la comida. La carne asada era excelente, pero las verduras era escasa, sólo un pequeño "mound" de puré de zanahoria y coliflor queso, no sólo 3 patatas cocidas, patatas asadas? . La comida sólo fue cálido. A pocos vegetales opcional hacer que dicha diferencia a un bajo costo.

Cálida bienvenida y bueno, chimeneas y una multitud alegre en este pub/restaurante renovado. Muy bien cuidado cervezas y una lista de vinos.

Stopped here on Tuesday with my wife - really nice place, friendly dude behind the bar, great music, decent beer selection and noticeably good homemade curries! Will definitely return.

Genial el mejor gastro pub en nuestra puerta. Menú fantástico, fantástico vino - nos encanta el Malbec argentino, me encanta el fuego, velas, lista de reproducción. Estamos todos adultos y realmente disfrutamos de las noches y las pizzas también. Excelente personal y buen bar.

Este pub ha sido renovado recientemente y hemos estado tan impresionados que hemos estado allí la mayoría de las semanas por la comida!

We came here as a family for a Halloween drink nice place bar man friendly and efficient nice enough place to eat the food looks nice enough good selection of real ales the only fault for me is the place could be warmer and it just lacks the warm inviting atmosphere of other local pubs this place is more for the locals than passing travellers. The children enjoyed their coke which is the main thing

wow, what a great find, fantastic food without unnecessary frills (not a "jus" in sight).excellent value for good, home-cooked tasty pub food.Homemade burgers, curries, steaks, super side salads and amazing coleslaw! Plus much, much more. Large plateful of food for such amazing prices, never had room for a pudding. On top of this the landlord knows how to keep a good pint with some lovely real ales.

We've come away for a long weekend to Hinstock and were recommended to come to the Falcon inn. We were greeted by a lovely friendly landlord which made us feel very welcome. The food was great, nice pub grub with lots of choice on the menu and the food came very quickly. There was plenty of it and was very tasty. The prices are great too. Definitely the place to visit. We will be back!!

Called in on our way home from a holiday. Having been there a few years before and had a good meal we decided to call in again.We were welcomed by the owner, he was friendly. Handed a menu with a very restricted choice and nothing on it that we really would have chosen. We were hungery as we had been travelling for 8 hours. We chose fish and chips as we felt it was a simple meal to cook. It arrived looking like the chips had been burnt, fish very overcooked. Scraggs of lettuce leaves and a 1/4 of a tomato, peas which were luke warm served in a cold ramekin dish. We ate some of it and left the rest.The whole place looked like it needed a polish and duster around the furniture and a bit of bleach swished here and there. It did not seem very clean. One other couple eating there!!! What does that tell us!

These are not your Birds Eye (other brands available) frozen jobs. No these are the proper pies that defeated Bonaparte and would be familiar to the diners at Pemberley! Obviously not because they are past their sell by date but these are about as traditional as a pie gets. The fillings I can vouch for, savoury minced beef and the beef and red wine vegetable are served with choice of spuds. yet more veg AND gravy. Just fabulous and no pretensions, jus or blow lamps in sight.An absolute bargain and it's probably hard to compete by staying at home. Like the previous reviewer I would strongly urge, nay challenge, any of you hungry horses out there to beat this for a "traditional British" slap up feed.Oh and the beer's good too!
