Weavers in Coventry

Ordered a curry, was half way through eating it and I bit into glass. This chipped my front tooth which now I have to go to the dentist for. Rang up sounded like women didn’t believe me and neither did the guy who showed up at the door giving me another curry and wanting the half eaten curry and glass back. Lucky I don’t Sue to get my tooth repaired. Didn’t even eat the curry they delivered the second time in case it had anything in it.

Ordered a delivery turned up an hour Iater and sent wrong order and it was cold,won't be useng them again.AVOiD!!!!

We have used this takeaway many many times and I have to say this was the best curry we have ever had. The food was very hot and cooked to perfection. The portions were huge and plenty of meat in both curries. I would highly recommend either to eat in or takeaway, excellent value for money.

Tried Weavers Balti for the first time via Deliveroo, food was very tasty, plentiful & well worth the money. Will definitely be ordering again, this place is right up there with the other good Indian restaurants in the Bell Green/Longford/Foleshill area.

Chicken was chewy, always seems to be inconsistent too whenever I've ordered in the past.

Delivery was early, curry was a bit saltier than expected but still enjoyable, very good.

The food was cold , the kebabs tasted like pure salt and the rice was dry and all stuck in one blob the Pepsi I was sent was foreign and flat awful and when spoken to online chat they ended the chat 5 times and refused me a refund !!

Food was pretty disgusting, it was the weirdest tasting korma I'd ever had and the papadom was a bit stale. Oh well!

Very good Indian takeaway. We pre ordered it and it arrived early and piping hot. The Madras was a bit more spicy than I expected but very tasty. We will be ordering again.

Usually very good, but this time delivery was late food was cold Naan was burnt wrong curry was sent out and the employee who answered the phone was very rude refused to help us and tried to just offer us free stuff next time we ordered, then put the phone down on us wouldnt recommend

The food from weavers balti was excellent, and piping hot too. Ordered my food for a 7.15 delivery but arrived at 6.45 whilst I was face timing the Mrs at home. She wasn’t impressed!

The delivery driver is so unprofessional. It’s meant to be non contact delivery. I was self isolating and he called and expected me to leave my apartment and collect downstairs. He also said he will not deliver to my apartment next time. Don’t get me wrong the food is really good but the delivery driver is unprofessional. Delivery service 1 star Food quality 5 stars.

Horrible, can think of ever having a meal so bad.

First time used after a recommendation from a friend. Granted we ordered on a Saturday night and took 1 hour to come so cant knock delivery time, but when it came the naan, chips n rice were cold we had to microwave it to warm it up. The curry was actually very nice full of flavour & spice still warm very nice. Not knocking the curry it was bang on but in future will use else where, three horseshoes Foleshill rd is nicer

Usually the foods good from here but tonight the pilau rices were so dry it was difficult to separate them from the chunks. Worse than that though were the two Chicken Pakoras that had no chicken. It was just the batter, flat and dry. Very disappointed!

Delicious, Will definitely order again

Fast delivery, but food was poor, 'medium' curry but it was bland and mild, and the chicken was dry. The chicken pakora was dry and tasteless, the naan was the nicest thing, but even that lacked, hardly any chilli or cheese. Sorry, but won't be ordering again.

I ordered as soon as restaurant opened and food was delivered much earlier than predicted. We always have food from here and it’s always really nice.

Excepted food order and gave time of 7pm, phone call received afterwards asking if it was OK to deliver after 9pm?!? Why except the order if you know you can't forefill the order??? In the end i had to collect order myself AND i still got charged for delivery...

Our order was delivered to incorrect address, but was QUICKLY resolved! And we got top quality HOT food to our door asap! The food was outstanding!! I would recommend buying from here, just make sure you add something extra in the delivery note so they make sure its the correct address. 👍🏻

Found a FLY in my Korma and this is the 2nd time it happened use to be good found the first fly about 2 months ago called and they swapped gave benefit of the dought 2nd fly not ordering from here again

Waited and hour before ringing to follow up out delivery. Was told to give it more time! Food arrived another 30min later, cold with sauces that I paid for spilt over everything

Food is always great, but I did request for it to come at 9pm so it arrives when my partner gets home from work. It arrived at 8.30pm

Ordered what I normally order when eating in and couldn’t eat it it was far too spicy.

Have to say 100 times better than last time. Gave another chance. Food red hot, tasty plenty of flavour. Beautiful. Fresh. Real. Live. I had garlic chicken, teryaki chicken, whey aye man, chicken egg fried rice and a portion of chips, food top class man.

Had many deliveries from Weavers, usually excellent. However although it was delivered exactly on time this evening the chicken was so hard I couldn't cut it and I only received 2 poppadoms even though I ordered and paid for 4. Won't be ordering again anytime soon

Food delivered 28 minutes after delivery time provided after order. In total, delivery was 90 minutes after order. Once delivered, clear from wet brown bags containing chips and onion bhajis they’d been in there for a long time. Food had to be microwaved as warm at best. Note - onion bhajis don’t do well in the microwave. On a positive note, the food was tasty, once hot. Not sure I’ll order from here again, despite apologies from the restaurant when I called.

Very bad meal. Rice undercooked so was crunchy and stuck to our teeth, prawns boiled to the size of garden peas and naan dry and doughy. Mint sauce pot is 50p and is TINY. Requested a receipt with order for expense claim, but was ignored. Terrible all-round, would not order again.

Just visited Weavers balti bar and Grill tonight for the first time. We were enticed to visit as they have decided to continue the 50% off Monday to Wednesday. The menu for the deal is limited but with plenty of Choice including all the curry favourites. We had poppadoms to start, then a chicken bhuna, chicken dupiaza, pillar rice, cheese naan and a garlic naan. As I was driving I had a diet Coke, and Dan had a pint of Cobra. It was only £18! Both curries were delicious, I particularly enjoyed the dupiaza as the veggies in the curry were still crunchy and the cheese naan was cracking. I can’t believe we haven’t visited before but we will definitely be back again 🤩

Food was nice although we ordered a curry with prawns in it and it didn’t have any in it. That’s like buys no a car with no engine in. Annoying.

Pre ordered so no excuse to be late, food arrived cold, chased the restaurant 3 times and was given free onion bhajis!? Took far to long and food was cold on arrival, gutted as this is one of the best curry houses in Coventry normally 😓

The rice was undercooked and hard

Food was delivered 30 mins late and when we opened the bag, one of the dishes was wrong. I rang the restaurant and told them and they had the correct dish delivered to me in 10 mins. Food was amazing

Balti came half leaked in the bag, and taste was awful did not taste like a balti at all! If you like a good balti avoid this restaurant. “Masala chips” are just chips covered in paprika!

Great food and decent size portions.

Odd experience with delivery driver who refused to give us our food unless we paid an additional £2.80 for an extra 2 poppadoms (which we hadn’t ordered, but there was 1 extra poppadom). I called and spoke to the manager who was very apologetic and seemed nice. He explained that there had been some confusion on the part of the driver and that this would not happen again - they offered to return our £2.80 in order to rectify this. Food was ok, probably won’t order from here again though.

I didn’t get the food! No one called to my number,but it was written that at 8:40 driver should be at the place. Please contact me,because something went definitely wrong!
