The best restaurants serving British food in West Midlands

Great food, good service and a nice atmosphere. Toilet facilities available upstairs. Parking available in the mailbox or nearby at the Town Hall NCP (a bit cheaper and literally a 2 minute walk to the mailbox).

Excellent meal. Really good experience. Perfect carvery, lots to choose from. Really hot, fresh vegetables and 5 meats (beef, gammon, lamb, pork and turkey) Staff friendly and helpful. Served within 5 minutes of arrival. Definitely going back!

Always great service and always great food. If you don’t like bingo avoid Thursday as it’s granny’s day out. But it is separated in the bar area but can be busy at the bar.

Only had a drink ...busy place ..card only payment ....menu seemed well priced .. Intended to return later but didn't cos of our day took us away from Hereford in the end

On arrival, the pub was empty, so no atmosphere. Unfortunately, I ordered a full fat soft drink they only offered Pepsi max or diet Pepsi only. (NOT a good start) I selected a menu. However, these were stuck together with alcohol and had not been wiped down, hence why they stuck together.. We sat in the restaurant area as we were planning on staying for food. Once seated, the table mats were also marked with alcohol glass rings and clearly not wiped down. The bar maid came to take our food order, she wasn't really welcoming, and asked us to leave the dining area and move to the bar if you're not eating! To be fair, the pub was empty, and I can understand why if that's the welcome .. We chose to leave and won't be returning. Dissapointed !!!!

This is my favourite all time pub in Stourport. The staff are lovely and it isn't as expensive as people say. You pay for quality and quantity, and you get that at The Old Beams. I miss you all there, as I've moved away. Best wishes to all of you there. Nige in Worcestershire somewhere. I'm not that far away

Good choice of plants and everything else you need for the garden

Just had the special by the 1 and only Chef Issak! Beef chilli!!! Now that Gino D'Campo has been axed, Isaak is going places! 15/10 for the food once again!

Stopped for a drink Sooooo expensive - twice as much as other local places and I was told that I couldn’t have a half pint of beer!!! They would only serve a pint which I could not have as I was driving. Disappointing Will not return!
