The staff are really friendly and helpful, the cake / sandwiches are lovely and fresh. It's a very pleasant environment to sit and have a snack (indoors or out) and is heavily used by lots of local cycling groups. My only suggestion for improvement would be glad ketchup / sauce bottles instead of the dreaded single use plastic sachets! I look forward to returning to see if these eco-friendly guilt free condiments appear!

A large restaurant with an interesting menu. The very tasty meatballs were served with a lovely sauce and more pasta than I could eat. The extensive drinks menu did not include any stouts, which was a disappointment. Service was efficient.

We often drink at the Rose and Crown but had never taken family there before, including a 2 year old! From the moment that the staff sorted seating out for us, the customer service was exceptional. Quick and friendly service, and the staff could not have been more helpful in helping to keep the 2 year old amused, particularly the kind man who brought smarties to the table for her (I didn't take his name, but he had his own 2 year old I believe!). The atmosphere was very welcoming, and our family were thoroughly impressed. The Guinness was very good too (appreciated by my Irish Brother-in-Law!!)

Had a burger, and the burger sauce was a little shy, but our server Josh was great! Very friendly and attentive but not in a weird way. I think the decor needs a little overhaul as it’s looking slightly tired, but generally a good mid-week meal out.

The Glebe is one of those pubs that brings hospitality back. It has a fantastic selection of Joules cask ales and always a good range of other beers to suit other palettes. Their range of wines is top notch too. The food is something else. To say that it's 'to die for' is an understatement. A wide selection from cheese boards and pork pies to traditional home cooked food, which is available throughout the week until 9pm. The chips are especially gorgeous. During the winter months, there's an open fire, which is delightful. It welcomes well behaved dogs too.

Visiting the swan theatre in the area and this is Great little quirky pub to stop off at and is 5-10 walk away. In this pub it's got a Good range of unusual beers and nice tasting too. Food very good, we had chicken wings to start and smash burger as a main. Very nice I must say. Staff are really really nice and very friendly. I will be going back. As I personal preference I did find the starter a little heavy on my stomach before my main but that's just me. Maybe next time ill try something else. Nice place and well worth a visit
