Visited this pub today for my sister’s birthday. They both orders Sizzling Cantonese with beef and oriental vegetables, however, the only bit that was accurate was the sizzling, beef that tough it was inedible and the veg was red pepper and onion. I had a starter of Camembert with chilli jam, which came with limp lettuce. Both didn’t eat it. When complaining the waitress begrudgingly apologised, not genuine at all. Full price of £45 paid. No leaving I visited the toilet and the paint was pealing off the walls and the air vent were hanging off the wall by one screw. Won’t be going there again.

Dreadful, absolutely terrible. Would give it a minus score if I could. Myself and my sister chose Cantonese steak sizzler with Cantonese vegetables. The steak (? ) was so tough it was inedible. The Cantonese vegetables consisted of huge chunks of red pepper and onion nothing else, tasted like it was topped with a jar of over sweet BBQ sauce. My other sister had Camembert with chilli sauce. Great big dish of stale lettuce and 2 small pieces of breaded Camembert. Despite the fact we couldn’t eat it they knocked nothing off the bill. Service slow and glasses dirty. Toilets a disgrace. Gone down hill rapidly in the last year. Don’t go !

Honestly a nice place overall. The main issue is the cleanliness. I had a drink and at the bottom of the glass (on the inside) was what can only be described as "gunk". Not a big amount but I can only imagine the glass wasn't properly rinsed before going in the glass wash. (Because of the colour of the liquid I didn't notice it till I'd drank nearly all of it, and didn't bother to say anything because my family would have made a bigger deal out of it than me). And the baby's highchairs were filthy. They were clearly quickly wiped and not cleaned properly. They were sticky in places and had what appeared to be dried crusty food left in the corners. I want to be fair, and the food and prices were very good. And the staff were friendly and accommodating to us. But regardless of the positives it's hard to not point out the negatives.

Came here on the evening 8th April recommendation of some family. Walked in and it was clean and tidy and was some lovely music playing. Waited a short while and was greeted by one of the chefs who quickly seated me and explained the menu and the deals as we hadn't been before. We had our drinks order taken by the waitress who was very abrupt and short with us. But we got our drinks quickly. The food came out and it was fantastic, the pork belly bites were lovely and the carvery was probably the best carvery I have ever had, piping hot food on piping hot plates. The meat was to die for and the veg was fresh and well cooked. The roasties we sublime. It took a while for our plates to be cleared. The waitress didn't ask how our food was just sharply said "you done?" before taking them away. I don't know if she was stressed or was having a bad day. But she came across as very blunt, verging on rude. She took our dessert order and again it didn't take long for the desserts to arrive. We both had the waffle and it was lovely. All in all the food is fantastic and the atmosphere in there is great. Just really felt a bit let down by the service. The waitress came across very blunt and felt like we were an inconvenience to her. We would probably come back as the food was lovely but would be hesitant based on the service. Hopefully it was a one off.

I was even snapped at by the staff when I asked a simple question, which was really off-putting. It was frustrating to be treated that way, especially when I was looking forward to a nice meal out. Would not recommend this for a meal due to the limited menu (and some of those they had not got) and for hygiene reasons. The crockery used was awful - I had 15 crackers/chips on one bowl for pudding. And the same on all tableware. Are they not aware of germs that you get from chipped crockery ???? Please throw them out ! Health & safety would have a field day. The food was really low standard, a starter consisted of just 3 tiny meatballs thrown into a chipped bowl with some lambs lettuce thrown in the top ??? and due to limited options we had the carvery as a main - which was very nice and so credit to the chef on the carvery. Would not recommend unfortunately ☹️ 15 chips on the pudding bowl attached. Pleeeeease use common sense and throw away before someone becomes ill 🤒

The burger was awful the rolls were from the garage across the road. Didn’t take any more photos I’m afraid and didn’t get asked if we wanted a receipt.didnt feel like the pub was not that busy to be treated like it. We used to like it here but won’t be returning.

No issues with the food which was excellent, people at the table next to us were endlessly complementary about the food too. Waiter kept apologising for the slow service but it wasn't so bad and it's a Sunday so who's rushing (staff were, not us). If the bustling venue was anything to go by, this is how to do it right.

On the 22nd January I have made a booking for the fox at Chaddsley Corbett from the online menu when we arrive at the fox they did not ask for a full name or any booking details when we have then sat down we have recieved a completely different menu then the advertised menu which was on the online website and was drawn to this restaurant from the online menu, we have made our order and was not advised that it was two different menus which if false advertising. We then have ordered our starters and had no issues. On the menu that was given to us on the 22nd January they stated 4 different meat options beef turkey pork and gammon. I ordered this carvery for the pork as I do not eat any other meats when I then went up to the the carvery options there was only beef gammon and turkey which is not advertised on the menu if I knew there was only those 3 options I would of selected a different choice of mains. The other 2 occupants that agreed to come with me from the online menu asked for medium rare and medium steak and we received a well done steak for the both of the to occupants that came with me, one of the meals was half eaten and the other we had to return as we was not happy with the food we received. We then spoke to a member of staff asking for the food to be retuned as this was not we ordered. When the member of staff left to go speak to the chef she then stated I am not dealing with this the chef has then come out with no sympathy or remorse from there mistake he then stated the online menu advertises that it is just a sample menu which is not the case he then agreed with me that the carvery that I received and was advertising was incorrect the attitude of the staff was completely unacceptable. I have then had to pay for 2 of the meals which was incorrect due to not feeling comfortable with how the staff deal with there customer service even though the price of the 2 course and 3 course was the exact same we felt to uncomfortable to even stay for our desserts. I have previously lived in this area and the standards of food and customer service had destroyed the reputation of this local country pub. The only positive I can recommend is the blonde girl who really did try her hardest to make a positive outcome from this situation even though she didn’t not state about the carvery options she did know the full menu in detail. I would not recommend ever going here as the standards of this restaurant has completely changed.

Five family members visited The Fox for a relative's birthday meal. Three of us had the 2-course menu of fish and chips, one had the carvery and one had the burger. All were good quality and served piping hot - just as I like. Dessert was sticky toffee pudding for 4 of us and one had the trio of ice cream. Again, good portions and well presented. Waitress came to take our order as soon as we arrived and had sat down, which we felt was a little too soon - a few minutes were needed to finalise menu choices. Very poor experience. We arrived for a pre booked table at 6.30pm on a Saturday evening. Ordered drinks and it was only after ordering drinks and asking what the pie of the day was that we were advised the pie was not available or one of the starters. At this point we asked if there was anything else unavailable to be told ‘no’. We continued to select from a very limited menu and then proceeded to order and it was only when we tried to order a steak main we were told no steaks were available. Ended up with a drinks bill when we had to leave and find an alternative restaurant due to the very limited menu. Very poor that we were not advised when seated, before ordering drinks and even when we specifically asked.

Disappointing. We had eaten here many times before and had good experiences, but our visit this time was far from satisfactory. I'm not sure if there's been a change in management, but the overall experience was subpar. The place was overcrowded, and we were seated at a table squeezed into a corner, so much so that the table behind us kept knocking my chair. The restaurant appeared to be understaffed, with only three young women who looked exhausted. The food on the carvery tasted as though it had been cooked days before and reheated. There were no roast potatoes, and we were told to come back in five minutes when they were ready. We dined at 3 p.m., and by that time, they had already run out of two of the four desserts they offered. Several other tables around us were also complaining about their food and overall experience. We won’t be visiting again.

The Fox Inn Carvery food was great, freshly cooked and plenty of it. Plates were hot enough to burn. Beware. Carvery included a dessert and our dessert order was limited to 3 of 5 choices. It took so long to come after 2x prompts that the cheesecake was all gone. The person who took the order was addressed directly and couldn’t be bothered about it, she took no ownership of the problem and left it to someone else to correct her mistake. By this time I was getting a bit annoyed and ended up taking a cinnamon roll with ice cream which was dry as chaff. Offered a partial refund didn’t take it. Poor service, rubbish dessert but good carvery. So, I’d go back for the carvery and not the desert, no wonder it’s included. Some staff need a wake-up call.

Veg - cauliflower cheese was rock hard and you could not get the spoon in, Dauphinoise potatoes were absolutely solid in the dish ~ again you could not get the spoon in - after a struggle got the spoon in and it was just a solid mass and looked disgusting so passed on that. Stuffing was another disaster - again just stogie and you could not even get it off the spoon. Roast potatoes and parsnips were dry and hard - personally I think they may have been from the night before - they were disgusting and all 3 in our party left them. In a word all of the food I mentioned above was only fit for the bin. One member had the pie of the day. It was NO PIE. A round piece of puff pastry placed on top of some vegetables "off the carvery" on top of the pastry was 4 small chunks of potatoe and 3 chunks of lamb in a gravy and then another round piece of puff pasty placed on top. Basically it was a "puff pastry sandwich" how they can call it a pie is beyond belief. No to desserts - two of the 4 desserts were sold out so we were offered as alternatives "eaton mess with strawberries or fruit cake - yes fruit cake" I passed on dessert. One had the eaton mess - the fresh strawberries were straight out of the fridge and very cold - they had been cut in half - fine - but they could not even be bothered to take out the green stalk - shocking. If there was a real Chef in the Kitchen how did any of that food even get past him or her to get into the Restaurant. Well we will NEVER EVER BE GOING BACK.

First time trying this pub. Best carvery I've had in decades, superb choice and quality of food fantastic. Flavour and tenderness of meats really first class. Friendly staff too. Can't wait to go back. Make sure you book.

We booked our table but still had to wait half hour for our table to be ready , carvery was lovely, but the experience was let down waiting for 1 hour for desserts ! Then told half the orders were no longer available! No management in place , young staff members looking stressed we felt so sorry for them , put more staff on , a lot of other people were complaining too !!

Me and my partner waited 1 hour for our starter to come out. The staff were extremely rushed off their feet to the point they were stressed. There was 1 waitress and 1 bar lady and it was quite busy. We opted for the 3 course menu and had to walk after the starters ( i have never had to walk out during a meal). The carvery had no meat on it and the veg/sides were all crusty and nearly empty. I felt sorry for the waitresses as I can imagine they get a lot of agro off the customers for the slow/bad service. There should be way more staff on when it’s busy. I know it’s not high end dining, but I do expect edible food and decent service. Unfortunately we won’t ever be returning to the fox after this awful experience.

We booked a table for Sunday 27th October at 3:30pm, we arrived early and was told they had a table they just needed to clear it and asked us to get a drink at the bar and then they would seat us. We ordered at the bar and I was told I would have to have my pint in 2 half glasses as they never had any pint glasses available and then proceeded to serve in pint glasses for the next people ordering drinks. Whilst waiting 25 minutes another couple then came in and was seated straight away, after this an older couple came and again were seated. We left and came to The Dog in Harvington, they said they didn’t have anything available as they were very busy but after I explained our situation they spoke to the manager and found us a table. We are very disappointed with The Fox and wouldn’t recommend their Sunday service, they had 3 staff members on, they all looked about 20 and totally exhausted, there didn't seem to be anyone in charge, tables were not being cleared or cleaned and there were glasses covering one end of the bar and piled up on a table.

Thought we would try the Fox again & give them another chance after previous poor visits Nothing has changed. On this occasion the waitress was clearly not interested in serving us. We waited a long time for drinks & the meat on the carvery was not good at all. It was tough & chewy. This will be our last visit & cannot recommend

Beer quite nice. Service terrible took 20 minutes to be served. The ‘crusty roll’ from the soup was half a burger bun. The ‘butter’ served with it was vegan spread that was 2 years out of date! One less chicken wing than we recived last week and what feels like less sauce as well. My family have been multiple times before and the service is inconsistant. Last week they couldn’t fault it this week it was terrible. What makes it worse the table next to us, who had already finished there meal were rude to us for ‘making to much noise’ in a reaturant full of people. Quite frankly was a poor expereince all around, paid and left before making it to the cavery as the poor quality serivce and starters left a sour taste in our mouths.

My partner and I booked over the phone at 11.50am Thursday 5th September and requested a table for 12.30pm, a staff member granted our request, the carvery today was outstanding, the meat choices were an excellent selection of beef, pork and turkey, the vegetables cooked to perfection and best of all……the gravy, cooked the ‘proper’ way with the meat juices! Thus causing a taste explosion, the staff are both welcoming and accommodating, allowing us to enjoy the hospitality experience at a very high standard, this is not our first visit, as the experience has been of equal delivery on each visit, it ensures it brings us back regularly. Many thanks to all at the Fox Inn at Caddersley Corbett, Mark and Michelle Stanley xx

Good pub, pint of Guinness £7.50 bit expensive, but the main carvery was not too bad at £9 98 or £10 carvery with a desert! Lots of old people, and does get busy, on the up side food wise on the best carverys I have ever tasted wanted to eat more, but did not have any room in my belly for more! My brother eats a large plate normally, but he had a standard plate and he was full! They get a few young and middle age people like me and my bro! Place kept clean and tidy! But if you decide to go to the fox at chaddsley Corbett book as they do get full, me and my bro were lucky to just walk in and get a place!

This is my favourite all time pub in Stourport. The staff are lovely and it isn't as expensive as people say. You pay for quality and quantity, and you get that at The Old Beams. I miss you all there, as I've moved away. Best wishes to all of you there. Nige in Worcestershire somewhere. I'm not that far away

An absolute disaster! We ordered a table for two people there the day before for Sunday at 6 p.m. When we got there we found an almost empty pub and were told that the kitchen was closed on Sundays from 5pm. The best part was that we then drove to the Running Horse Inn and it is a brilliant restaurant! Good food at low prices and top service!

THERE WERE 4 TABLES OCCUPIED IN THE RESTUARANT... WE ARRIVED AT 1.30 AND LEFT AT 4.00 wasted our bank holiday! JUST DO NOT ENTER... It is so deceiving: from the outside with the benches it looks like a nice cottage BUT... as soon as you enter there are two rooms... you have to help yourself to a menu and a table. Then we ordered 4 meals WHICH DID NOT COME WITH FRIES OR CHIPS, then we waited 1hr 45mins for the food OMG, THEY FORGOT so they took anougther 30min until they finally arrived. It was grousome; no chicken wings which is the main reason I ordered food, apparently it was freshly home made IT WAS FROZON FOOD FROM THE SUPERMARKET... IT WAS... AND THERE ISN'T ANY BACK CHAT ABOUT IT BEING FRESH. It was BABY SIZE, YOU COULDNT GET SCAMMED THAT MUCH FOR SUCH A SMALL PORTION NO REFUNDS FOR ANY THING
