We had a lovely meal. I asked for a leomoncello Spitz, I was giving leomoncello and lemonade because he wouldn't open a bottle of prosecco which the drink as in it. Very disappointed

Bingo last night was really good fun. Enjoyed the night immensely. All the staff were very welcoming, friendly and the service was brilliant. Hope to be there next Sunday for eyes down xx

We received a warm welcome and were told to "sit anywhere" when we'd booked a table - this was helpful so that we weren't assigned a table where it was necessary to ascend or descend a step. The food was hot, delicious and a generous portion - very good value for money. Service was pleasant throughout.

Not much effort made for the Sunday roast dinner and there desserts or drinks and overpriced for what it is, my 1st time and last time there!!

Last minute and first time eating at the beams, lovely warm welcome and quick service. Good options of food available, we all went for roast dinners. Both the roast beef and pork were exceptional, the beef was so tender and the best we’ve had out for years. Really recommend here and encourage to support local pubs. Plenty of parking around the back

Husband 60th birthday we had the hot food buffet. 14 of us including 8 grandchildren. They were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It was lovely to have a whole area. Food was delicious. We’ll be back and can recommend.

First visited in the summer and had a wonderful Sunday lunch, so was excited to visit again with friends. The food certainly lived up to our expectations - plentiful, high quality and reasonably priced. Service was good too. The only area of disappointment was that the venue was quite cold. There was an open fire in one area but it appeared there was no other heating so we had to put coats/jumpers on. Most folks appeared to eat their lunch and depart quickly so no second drinks orders which was a shame really. Will go back in the summer as couldn’t fault the food.

Chicken and mushroom pie totally dry inside the pie and everything else covered with a garlic/mint type sauce if they are trying to do a London type of pie and mash it didn't work.. Staff were very busy ( talking at bar ) and apparently the ( chef ) had gone home before 8.30 pm overall very disappointed compared to our last 2 visits last year. Paul Horton

Worst food I have ever had on Christmas Day , it was over cooked and cold or under cooked and hard . We had lovely dinner last year , but this year it was horrid . Couldn’t fault staff but defiantly wont be going back again .

Went for a birthday meal the food was fabulous and plenty of it as well. Deffo worth a visit.

Great pub ,Lovely homemade food

Went here with our other engineer for our Christmas dinner before the end of work. The ladies serving us were lovely and chatty, the food was utterly brilliant. I had the roast turkey ( Classic ) and my friend had the slow cooked beef stew. Both were utterly delicious and we polished off our plates ( bar the brussels for me ) Definitely worth a trip too if your in the area ! 5* from me !

Nice atmosphere quaint pub but food lacking, had the scotch egg starter, it was dry and a bit scabby. Why give you half an egg???

They kindly agreed to us staying overnight in the car park in our campervans. Great location. Friendly welcome and good service. If you are hungry do try the Severn Burger - cracking value for money!

My son, my dog and I had just been for a long hike and we were trying to find somewhere nice to eat, so I suggested The Old Beams, Stourport as it was on our way home. Well when I parked my car there was a large group of young male adults repairing their cars and some were stood around just staring, so not a good first impression!! My son went in to order food and drinks and this place was supposed to accept Blue Light Card for a discount for being a Keyworker. However when my son came to order the food, the landlord said we don’t accept the Blue Light Card on Sundays and his attitude was vile. So rather than my son getting into any conflict with the landlord he walked away. So my assumptions are that anyone with a Blue Light Card doesn’t work Sundays, hence why they aren’t allowed a discount. My son and I definitely won’t be returning again unless it ever changes management!!

We had a lovely meal and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing, the service was excellent well recommended. We had a camper and the manager allowed us to park up for the night but been courteous we had a meal and a drink in the bar, many thanks 👍

Popped into this place due to a traffic jam, loved it. Big place with great beer garden and loads of tables inside for dining.

Review for The Old Beams Pub, Stourport-on-Severn I recently visited The Old Beams Pub in Stourport-on-Severn and, unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The hospitality, particularly from the gentleman serving at the bar, was lacking. His demeanor was unfriendly and unwelcoming, which significantly impacted my overall enjoyment of the visit. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the customer service, as the pub itself has great potential. A warm and friendly atmosphere is crucial for a pleasant pub experience, and I believe with some improvements, The Old Beams can achieve that. Regards, Steve Murphy.

Couldn't fault the food you get a very good portion for your money.

Beautiful sea bass dish today, fish was spot on and the garlic creamy sauce was just right. Served with cabbage. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and very good food.

Forget food - battered fish - plenty of batter no fish, this was returned and another fresh portion arrived, exactly the same, plenty of batter and no fish inside. The Roast beef very tender but swimming in gravy, should you not have a choice with the gravy boat on the table. Balti Pie, words cannot describe, dry, un appetising, presentation!!!!! Slow service at the bar, staff talking amongst themselves. Avoid the food, pleasant atmosphere when arrived. We were doing a 'Reckie' to take clients from work for lunch during the week, this is a no no.

We absolutely love to travel to this pub, the food is always superb. The staff are lovely (it's slow service) but we're used to it now. However, we are extremely put off since our last visit last week and the state of the tables. It was incredibly sticky (your elbows and belongings were sticking to it) a member of staff came and wiped the table once we had asked but it hadn't made a difference. We didn't want to make a fuss, but upon closer inspection of the table it's got layers of grime/build up on it (not just a little either, we're talking the length of the table). We didn't even want to place our cutlery or serviette down on the table due to the grime. We saw staff spraying and wiping the tables, but it's not achieving anything when the build up remains (and the solution you're using leaves the tables tacky). Please scrape/treat the gorgeous wooden tables.

Visited on Saturday for dinner, friendly welcome from the bar staff & shown straight to our table which I had prebooked via their website. No mention from the staff how to place our order, followed the table next to us and ordered at the bar. No mention of a special board or listed, found that later when we were leaving, perhaps the staff need more training as it wasn't particular busy. Food was great, plenty of it, well presented and very tasty.

Ok, I'm really sorry, but my pictures don't even give justice to this place. Beautiful atmosphere, beautiful pub, so nice inside and outside staff ate extremely lovely and food... OMG is amazing, so ,so good... from the moment when we tried the first time, we had already been there so many times. It's a real gem in Stouport. Their roast dinner is so good and so big that even a Hulk wouldn't be able to finish. The amount of meat with the roast is unbelievable. Thank you. Every single time here is a real feast.

Tasty pub food with friendly staff. The portion sizes were massive, a shame as I hate wasting food. Maybe offer smaller appetite portions in future? The homemade cheesecake was probably one of the tastiest I've ever had.

Have eaten here many times and usually the food is very good. Visited Friday 28th June and ordered the 16oz Gammon and egg. It arrived at the table well presented but as I started to eat it, it had a distinctly burnt taste, I lifted the gammon and it was black! The waitress returned it to the kitchen and it was replaced within five minutes. Sadly this time it was only cooked around the edges and the meat it the middle was pretty much raw! By this point I had lost my appetite. We paid our bill and my husband spoke to a member of staff behind the bar who said he would "mention" it to the chef! Won't be going back in a hurry ~ sorry.

In Stourport visiting and ate tea here. The pub is a calm, relaxed restaurant/pub with a good amount of choice. Had the fish and chips - it was huge! But cooked so well it all had to be eaten - just! Would recommend as an eatery.

Fantastic. Couldn't fault anything. Especially want to thank chef Ryan who even came from the kitchen to check everything was ok when he knew we were celebrating.

Well what can I say.. Ploughmans is disgusting cheese was hard on the ends pork pie no taste and the scotch egg looked like it had been left out for a week. Friends hunters chicken had a fly on the bacon. No waiter asked if our meal was alright. Worst £77 ever spent.

Unfortunately we had a drink then went for a walk, when we returned they had stopped doing food (18:00) but I can say the food roast dinners looked amazing Great stopover in the car park, free camping as long as you partake on the premises Friendly staff

Lovely friendly staff and nice ambience. Menu was a bit limited but the food we had (Sunday roast and steak and ale pie) were fabulous. Nice thick tasty gravy, awesome cauliflower cheese and not badly priced for the quality. Will definitely try again and see how they are for consistent service! Nice job!

I was very impressed ! Booked in here for a late Sunday lunch on a lovely sunny afternoon and was able to enjoy the weather in the beer garden. The food was excellent (homemade lasagne and Hunters chicken). Both were served piping hot and very well presented. The service was good and the food served pretty quickly. The staff were very pleasant too. No complaints at all and will definitely be returning when in the area.

If you are looking for a fantastic dog friendly pub then this is for you. A bowl of water and treats for the dog. Gorgeous food and friendly staff. Brilliant x

The service was poor. Waited ages for drinks service. Then watched a bar maid stare at a pint of Guinness waiting for it to settle whilst the bar filled up. Food was average to say the least and the manager (presume) came over after being asked to take our dessert order. Left all the plates on the table. So we had to stack and put to one side. Lovely setting. Service rubbish, food pub grub.

I been for my first time in restaurant. Everything was really lovely.

Enjoyable meal. My lasagne was excellent and the rest of our party all enjoyed their meals. Large portions so well worth the money. Service a bit hit and miss. Dog friendly which always good for us.

Saturday afternoon called in for food, could not fault it, we both had the pie with chips and peas it was absolutely lovely. Then we had a pudding each, they are huge but great.

Lovely place and extra dog friendly too! I honestly couldn't fault anything here. The food was spot on, as was the service and even down to bringing out a water bowl and a tub of doggie biscuits for the mutts. Very, very good place to eat and chill the night away. 10/10. 👍🏻

This is a really nice pub inside & out with friendly & helpful staff. We had the pork loin off the specials board & was not disappointed, it was very tasty & lots of it. Went with friends & we are able to stop overnight in our vans on the large car park. There is a local farm shop across the car park so we were able to grab a bostin breakfast the following morning when the pub was shut too..... Definitely worth a nights stopover

We enjoyed our visit to The old Beams on Sunday and tucked into a Sunday lunch. We each had the different roasts available beef, chicken and pork. The meat was both tender and plentiful. Vegetables were perfectly cooked along with the toasties. A side order of cauliflower cheese was a bonus. Then meal was certainly a filler. Taking a browse over the mains menu there was plenty variety for all tastes. I'm sure we will return to sample the other dishes available. Easy access and plenty parking. Lovely ambience, nice decor. Can pop in for meal or sample the drinks menu.

Expensive in the extreme poor food poor service and considering it was bank holiday atmosphere was none existant place was empty and stourport is a hive of activity normally

Stopped over in our Motorhome in Stourport-on-Severn at The Old Beams Pub while travelling back from Wales. Great Motorhome stopover. The Landlord is welcoming and friendly. Enjoyed a meal and a few beers in this very pleasant pub. Only a short walk into town where you can visit the historic canal basin. Definately worth a visit when you are in Stourport.

You know you go to some places and it’s either quality over quantity or quantity over quality. Here it’s both, I had the beef roast and was absolutely amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly and there was plenty of it as well. Even the kids version was massive and amazing quality. Definitely recommend

The most horrendous meal me & the family have had in a long time. Meat dry and overcooked. Flat Beer, gone off pinapple juice and undercooked veg. Will not be returning. Shame because the building is lovely. Avoid if you want a roast or a steak or a decent pint.

Go here occasionally for a bite to eat. Is generally good. Service can be a bit hit or miss. Never had any problems with the food and prices although rising are still reasonable. Dog friendly.

I found this place really expensive I wouldn't mind but the pizza I had the pepperami tasted off I wasn't at all impressed with the food at all and the drinks were Ridiculously priced you couldn't have a good night out there without a bank loan

Booked a table for 6 today. We all had various meals. They were all amazing. I had the Sunday lunch and can honestly say it was the best I have had when eating out. The staff were all so friendly too. Definitely be booking again when we visit Stourport again

I’m not one for leaving reviews but I feel sorry that I have too. I popped in for lunch for a nice little birthday treat, and I have to say the food was awful. I did complain ( again I’ve never had to complain anywhere before but it was so disappointing) The main meal was undercooked and cold. The presentation was awful, and the desert ( which I was offered for free) was actually over cooked. I think personally £40 is a lot of money to spend on something that wasn’t very nice at all. Even the chef made himself known by storming off and slamming the door after our complaint, I guess he was making a point. Such a shame as it’s a lovely pub in a lovely setting but we sadly won’t be going back.

Just a good all round pub with food. Friendly efficient service. Ideal location with huge car park. I had two meals over a weekend. Excellent.

Fabulous buffet food. Some of the best we have had. The salads were amazing and to have the hot chips meant everyone was happy. Great work.

Good value meal, with all the trimmings, but not served hot enough.Had to ask for a steak knife, a basic error. 20 mins wait for table to be cleared, before ordering deserts.

The homemade meat balls with spaghetti must have been boiling for an hour before served, it was like mush the pasta, hunters chicken was nice though 👍

Fantastic service. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication when ordering my food and I got the wrong item which is easily done when there's karaoke going on. It was fixed in an instant and our waitress was lovely.

My festive burger was lovely, but the service was poor. Waited 15 minutes for someone to ask if we wanted desserts. Gave up and asked a waitress for some then waited another 15 minutes to be served, gave up and paid and left. If your going to offer table service make sure you get your staff to do table service.

Had a roast dinner today. Yorkshire pudding potatoes burnt ,black round the edges. Vegetarian option poor 3 quorn sausages. Expected better from the restaurants reputation.

Booked for table of 8 Christmas Eve, clearly far a family Xmas get together. Very disappointed to arrive and only be told no festive menu available when we were sat - why no previous contact to at least offer us the chance to go elsewhere? Even stranger, we were then able to order a turkey Sunday roast and festive burger so what exactly wasn’t available? Meals took over an hour to be served, with no offer of explanation or more drinks orders taken by the waitresses. Most of the party said their food was good when it did arrive but very poor service and just generally disappointing

Been many times, the food is exceptional, can highly recommend a visit for a bite to eat in a very welcoming pub.

We went to the Old Beams for lunch today on speck. When we arrived the nice young lady told us to sit anywhere we were comfortable. She gave us plenty of time to choose and told us which items were not available, which was just one thing. The menu was extensive. As neither my sister or myself are meat eaters we found plenty of choice of pescatarian and vegetarian food. My sister had fish and chips and I had a sea food risotto both of which were absolutely delicious. I couldn't eat all of my massive portion so the waitress went to the kitchen and put it in a box for me to bring home. All in all it was a good experience. We will definitely be returning.

The establishment is very neat, presentable and well kept! It had a nice atmosphere and the gentleman behind the bar we encountered was pleasant and friendly. We certainly made ourselves comfortable with the lovely seats. There’s plenty of space so it didn’t feel overcrowded and seemed a nice place where you could enjoy a good meal. I would definitely return again if in the area!

The worst carvery I’ve ever had,all reheated as far as I was concerned,couldn’t even put the knife through the chicken ,manager wasn’t even bothered don’t go there it was vile

Great atmosphere, but food was not what I expected . Slow cooked chicken balti ??? Chicken was cooked on a grill. You could see the lines from the grill plate, so the chicken had a skin on it, which I wouldn't expect from a balti.

Lovely lunch. Very good and pleasant Service. It seemed very quiet. There were only about six customers. At least there were no dogs!! Next visit will bring a bigger party. Many thanks.

I popped in after work for a drink and evening meal, the pub itself is lovely and very friendly, however not so much the food, I ordered slow cooked steak and ale pie, chips and peas, the pie was overcooked, broken pastry and the meat inside was hard and dry, no sauce at all, but they did put ‘kettle gravy’ on it, shame really, as an ex professional chef i was disappointed to say the least, sorry guys just being honest
