It was a great Easter sunday lunch with family, we loved the new setting and decor, the food was delicious and there was a good selection.

Good food , friendly staff ( especially Poppy), Great play area for kids & kids menu

Wouldn't step foot in this place again, got completely ripped off mothers day. They charged me just under double I didn't realise how much I was charged until I got home and checked my bank. I've been in 3 times since and they are not willing to do anything about it. Not to mention the food wasn't great and the service was disgusting, we was waiting for at least 50 mins then the food come out at all different times so half the table had finished before the other half even got their food. It's a shame really as this place was my go to but I will not be returning, it's gone downhill massively and are extremely understaffed.

Came for dinner and were very disappointed by the food. Service was good, not many gluten free options (my partner is celiac) but staff were accommodating. The food however was pretty bleak. Not sure if the chef was having an off day or what, as most reviews seem to be positive. I had the chicken souvlaki which had very little chicken, was greasier than a 3am kebab and absolutely drowning in sauce. My partner had the 1/2 chicken which I can only describe as mummified. It looked and tasted like it had been reheated or sat under a heat lamp drying out for hours. Not what you want for almost 20 quid a main...

Great place to get a drink - a really characterful building set in a very nice location, it has a south facing garden/patio area next to the River Frome and plenty of seating inside. There are nice beers on tap including a house ale (at the time of visiting) and it's clear that the landlord knows the right type of beers to get. The staff are all very friendly and courteous and as the food is highly recommended by friends who have eaten there it'll be on the menu for another visit.

Kind of devastated for Premier Inn's decision to stop dinner and lunch at this beefeater. The staff were always great and the food amongst the best for Beefeaters. It was also really the only proper eat-in restaurant within easy walking distance from us. It's still open to the public for drinks. Breakfast also still available. Hope previous serving staff are OK.

Food was tasty but the portions were a little on the small side for the price of the meals.

Most disappointed with both service and food. The whole experience reminded me of a military cook house. I chose pie and chips, I was offered a choice of two vegetables plus gravy. Big mistake. The chips were of such poor quality that they immediately turned into a soggy mess. The pie was just about ok, very little meat and tasteless pastry. Serving staff were abrupt and seemed more interested in haste than customer service. All this would be ok if it were cut price - as were the ingredients- but the meal for 2 plus 2 teas was over £41! We wished we had been to one of the nearby pubs. The dinning hall itself was loud and uncomfortable, like a cookhouse or school dining room. We go to the garden centre regularly and usually just have a coffee. I would recommend going to Baskets and Blooms which is a short drive away towards the airport, better food, service and value.

The best grilled lamb and chicken since the 70s. so delicious I forgot how good food can taste. Thank you. Mt son gave it 5 stars too. Excellent

Old outdated rooms, smell damp… pub is a waste of time very limited menu and to top that off half of the items not available. Couldn’t even get a cold pint after a long day travelling down and work as no draft beers working. Would only recommend as a last resort for a night sleep
