Was served by ruby on Wednesday and she was so polite and lovely. And was even nice enough to recommend me a beautiful wine, so thank you.

First time coming here, was very pleased with the service. Was served by the lovely Cerys. She gave us a load of recommendations for food, we ordered the haddock and chips and the lasagne and it was absolutely lovely. Cerys was very helpful and always served us with a smile and made us feel very welcome, will happily come back again for the lovely food and service.

My experience here was lovely. The bartender Cerys recommended the tandoori chicken skewer which was absolutely lovely and she always had a smile and had a great service. I will gladly come back soon.

A lovely non-fussy local pub. Good for a drink or meal out. Good service and friendly staff. Deal with allergies seriously and have a number of options for you if you have an intolerance or allergy. Comfy and relaxed. Do a quiz on a Sunday evening. A credit to the Longlevens community.

Needs a refit urgently. Bit of a dump at the moment. Food and bar staff are good. Gents toilets are an absolute disgrace for a modern high end pub / restaurant.

Unfortunately I have a lot of allergies, the staff (especially Ellie) went above and beyond to make sure I didn't get ill. They cleaned down the kitchen to avoid cross contamination and even washed my cutlery separately. Never had such good service.

Always need a torch to see the menu as so dark in there. Foods ok and staff pleasant enough. Prices don't break the bank. Have been a few times on a lunchtime and it's never overly busy.

Popped in for a catch-up and a drink with a friend. We were debating eating too, and after speaking to the server, Ellie, we decided that we would. Ellie was so friendly and knowledgeable. We couldn't decide what to eat but after asking a few questions, she was able to suggest a few dishes which were perfect. I'm already planning on a return visit with some other friends. I've been singing the praises of this member of staff ever since. It's so rare to find someone so cheerful and helpful.

Nice pub with friendly and thoughtful staff. Good range of beers/lagers and other alcoholic drinks. The menus are very practical with the usual favourites. Their Sunday roast is very good, but book a table as it's very popular. There is a llarge carpark on site, but it really could do with some action dealing with potholes. The pub is wheelchair accessible, with a toilet for the disabled.

We chose this place for its location as we had to meet our daughter to take her dog. We had no idea what the food was like. We were very pleasantly surprised. My husband had gammon egg & chips & he is quite hard to please but he was very pleased. The ladies had chicken bacon and avocado wrap with chips. It was delicious. It was a hot day but sat in the shade outside so can’t comment on the decor. The staff were very pleasant. Great value. Dog friendly.

We went here for our boxing day meal. There was twelve of us. The food and service was brilliant. Lovely staff food was great. We went again with our granddaughters on 24th July 2024. The service was good but some of the food was awful. Our granddaughters chicken was very tough and the sausages I had were undercooked. We were going to go there for my wife's 74th birthday but will choose another venue.

Found this place whilst visiting the area, we are welcomed by a friendly chap and served by Chloe. From walking in the door to leaving everything was excellent from service to food. Would highly recommend

We have been to the Teddy many times for meals and celebrations. Today's experience was not a good one. Our granddaughters chicken was very tough and I had to cut it for her which was difficult, she couldn't eat it all, I felt that the sausages I had were undercooked. When I complained to a member of staff she was fairly indifferent saying she will tell the kitchen staff. We intended to go here, with other family for my wife's birthday next month. We will probably go to another restaurant.

Food was lovely and our waitress Chloe was fantastic, she went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely dinner which included a small birthday request for my son!

Georgia and River super sweet and good with our lengthy food order and still did it with all with a smile and the manager Ella was rushing about and still was very chatty and nice all round good atmosphere food was lovely

The teddy has been my local for over 15 years but the service today was awful. I ordered a sparkling rose, and was given a flat drink. I asked if I could have a different one because there were no bubbles, and the barmaid said it was what I ordered. I had to show her the menu and order to say it was sparkling. The bar maid said it was what I ordered and there was nothing she could do about it, this is what I'd paid for. I asked for a different glass. She returned with another flat drink, I asked if I could have a glass from a different bottle? She said she was not allowed to open another bottle, and it was flat because there is no widget in wine glasses. I asked her to take the drink to the manager. The manager said they had no other bottles, but changed the drink for a regular prosecco. Finally we waited almost two hours between mains and desserts, the waitress had forgotten we had desserts on order. We felt unable to ask for them any earlier because of how I had been made to feel over the wine! Avoid if possible!

Ordered 4 Sunday lunches (mixed meats) only food that came was under cooked chicken which I couldn't serve for fear of making us ill. The rest was not enough to feed a sparrow infact that's probably what we were brought!! On ringing the pub the manager told us to go through the delivery service used !!!? The food surely comes from their kitchens? Would not recommend nor use again

Three of us visited today and all had a roast. I have not had such a disappointing meal out in a long time. I had to send my gammon back as it tasted almost synthetic. This was replaced with beef, which was at least edible. The vegetables were undercooked. The roast potatoes were very obviously frozen. There weren’t enough staff on duty, so service was slow. All in all, this was not an enjoyable lunch.

A mediocre pub that is only saved by its service. I quite often nip in for a drink but have decided to stop going in for food as you can never guarantee the quality or temperature! What I have to give credit to is the enthusiasm and service from the staff. Whilst often working in an incredibly busy environment, they are diligent, cheerful and focussed on customer service. A shout out to Hermione who always greets us with a smile and makes sure we have everything we need. She was particularly helpful when we recently visited with an elderly relative with mobility difficulties. Thank you!

Nice enough pub, but the poor servers seem to be overrun constantly. They try their best but then of course the service suffers. They don't seem to have much support from the guy I assume is the manager (Aaron?). He certainly acts like he owns the place. If there were more staff under less pressure, I'm sure it would be a far better place to go. I'll leave it for a few months and try again.

Came back after not being able to in a while, entered took a seat and went up to the bar, ordered two drinks, ordered two burgers both served with a smile, the food was lovely, well presented and and we didn't wait very long at all for the food, can't thank the kitchen staff for being fast and cooking a lovely quality meal and Ellie for a great experience and service.

Came for my sons birthday, table of 9. Was quick service didn’t have to wait for food too much, just one of my children’s meals came out last be good if children meals came out first. Otherwise all the food was lovely thanks chef Rach, staff Ellie and Kat were attentive. Would highly recommend coming again!

This pub used to be the hub of Longlevens, the service is better but the price of the beer is expensive and I didn't know a soul in there, that's my last visit ever.

Rubie gave great service. Delivered drinks to the table so we didn’t have to wait at the bar, and made some very good cocktails. Couldn’t ask for better service.

Had an amazing time here yesterday, food was amazing and delicious. Ordered the shepherds pie, it came out piping hot and was very nice. The bar staff was incredible, Cerys and Ella were very helpful and worked incredibly hard to serve everyone with a constant smile on their faces. Popped in for a quiet drink with my husband, spoke to the lovely bartender for a while she had red hair I think her name was Georgia. She was so friendly and fun that we ended up staying until the close. Great service and drinks we will be back for sure 🍻

Enjoyed a lovely meal with my husband and parents today. Chloe particularly stood out as a very friendly and helpful member of staff. My husband and I had the vegan options and my parents had the roast, we all enjoyed a lovely dessert which were only £2.50 each in the Sunday offer! It was nice to have our dogs welcomed too! We will definitely come again.

Having previously had some nice meals at the Teddy, we were looking forward to our monthly ’payday’ meal. However this evening was a very disappointing experience. When ordering we were told that sides weren't included in the meal even though it was detailed on the menu, one plate came out missing part of the meal, when it did come out it was cold and soggy. The ‘melted cheese’ on the burger was clearly 3 strips cut off the dried end of a block of cheese, it wouldn’t melt so it got picked out and left on the plate, sausages were hard and cold. On top of that, we were charged incorrectly. Hopefully this was a one-off, but I can’t see us going back anytime soon.

Food is excellent with a great friendly atmosphere.

Great service but the pub is dirty and tired. Ordered food which was ok but staring at a wall that needed a good wash and definitely needed a fresh lick of paint. I haven’t been for many years so I was a little disappointed that it is in such a poor and sorry state.

Always have a nice meal when we come to the 'Teddy'. Often on the spur of the moment. Although we booked in the morning there was no need. Service was prompt, the food is hot, the wine was lovely and the staff were friendly. Thank you.

I've ordered takeout from here a number of times. Overall, the burgers I ordered were easily 5 stars. However, the chips are a bit hit and miss for me, but for the right person they would be lovely. Also the desert often times doesn't include enough custard, especially for the price. Overall, it's an easy 4.5/5

Visited for a Sunday lunch with friends which was so good! We were served by Ellie who was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable as I have a dairy intolerance. It was taken very seriously which made me feel at ease. Amazing service. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant food, lovely service, server was Dan and he was super friendly and polite. Recoment the the Eaton mess sundae..not a lover of sweets but he convinced me and I'm a huge fan now-thouroughly recommend!
