Came out for dinner after using this venue before when staying at the hotel up the road. . We ordered via the app at the table and our drinks arrived promptly. The food was delicious and the service was great. The staff are very friendly and polite and checked back on us for both our starters and mains. Would recommend to family and friends.

The food was excellent, I had the carvery, gammon & beef, plenty of meat, beef was soft & melted in the mouth, vegetables were all freshly cooked & food was piping hot, the waiter Thomas was very helpfull & we weren't rushed. Highly recommended.

As usual the food was lovely. The beef was very soft. Marvin is an incredible chef, the meat is always so soft when he cooks it. The other staff is very friendly too. Thomas was very friendly, and so was the lady behind the till. I look forward to coming here in a few weeks for my grandson's birthday.

Absolutely lovely visit kids had fun playing and we enjoyed our meal carvery was really nice meat was lush and the éclair was delicious and kids enjoyed there ice cream staff was friendly and anything we needed was quickly sorted will definitely be back

Terrible carvery, dry turkey, salty ham (the beef was good) soft and blackened roast potatoes, rock hard broccoli, the cauliflower cheese had an awful smell and taste, carrots were reasonable. Miserable serving of meat for the price. Would definitely NOT go again. awful service too, they were far to anxious to take plates, this was infuriating as two of our table of 8 were still eating. Very low class

Good food both for meals the evening before, had the carvery again,good valueand choice of veg. Staff all very good and helpful, nothing is to much trouble. Knowledgeable on food allergies.

We stopped off here for some lunch and decided to have the carvery, got served in less than 5 mins, door were hot and tasty, served by lad named thomas whe were very polite and helpfull

Visited for the 2nd time over a weekend away.The first visit was late on a Friday evening and even though there wasn't much carvery meat left I was freshly cooked some chicken as requested by the manager. I'm gluten intolerant and the waiting and carvery staff were all very helpful. We visited again Saturday lunchtime and Maisie was incredibly helpful and made sure we were happy with our food. She even got us extra parsnips which were delicious! Great choices for gluten free guests. Thankyou Farmhouse Inn, Rose Tree Farm for some lovely food.

Very friendly pub, with great staff. The carvery is really nice with lots of choice. Pub can get busy, which can affect availability of some items on the carvery. There is a separate family area, which is good. Manager is very welcoming. Food and drinks are well priced.

Attended on a Wednesday evening. Lovely pub with nice atmosphere and super friendly staff. Andrew started us off with table allocation and bar service and Amelia cleared up after us and even washed our toddlers plate and cutlery from home for us!

Outstanding food and the prices are for everyone's pocket

Food was okay for the price. Issue with our gift card not scanning, not a problem so we paid by card. However checked the gift card balance and turned out it had worked, refund swiftly sorted by the staff so was no problem. A lot of items on the menu unavailable but it was a quiet Thursday morning.

Was lovely, children enjoyed playing in the play area. Staff were very friendly, especially Anna!

Good value for money, clean and pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff. Great way to start a Sunday with a huge cooked breakfast.

We had a lovely server called Anna who really knew her way around alcohol and there was a mistake with one of my orders but they were ever quick to fix the problem.

Anna and Jodie were lovely and hospitable through the whole evening making my 3rd valentines day with my partner a wonderful experience! Anna was friendly and outgoing, offering drink suggesting and was quick and efficient making our drinks. Thank you for looking after us :)

We went there 2 days ago, Tuesday evening at 19:57,the pub was full. They said they closing at 20:00, so didn't serve us, they sad everyone going to leave at 20:00, all the guests,as new management, new closing time. We waited in the car till 10 past 8 and no one left the pub, so I don't get why they didn't serve us a drink. 🙄🙄🙄 UPDATE : that happened a year ago. But we got upset again, we didn't know that they closing at 9pm,so about 21:15 we ordered an other pint of lager yesterday, we been served than not long after an other staff member, or maybe he is the manager, I don't know, but told us that they are actually closed and we have less than 5 minutes to go. Which is ok, but why we have been served than instead of saying that they are closed? :(

Nice place but a bit noisy, food was good but survive was slow as they need more staff. One of these places were you order at the bar, causes a lot of problems if you have a big party as we did. Waitress service would be sooooo much better. Latest visit 18/01/2024. Only 3 of us. Food good but only limited veggie options and nothing vegan. They have even scrapped the vegan fish option 😞

Not very friendly staff food was average, paying additional for Yorkshire and pigs in blankets what next gravy . Toilet door lock not work properly paper on the floor as the dispenser was broken as well.

The normal Coke tasted more water than Coke. If you have a child menu, then at least have some small cutlery. Apart from that excellent food and service.

Ultimate drinks are huge and good value for money. There is a good choice of food and it is all well cooked and tasty. Whilst the staff are friendly enough, there is no real warmth apart from one or two of them. They are just doing a job, if you know what I mean. We always go in a large group and there is always a delay in bringing the food and both times they have forgotten to bring a couple of dishes. Will I go again? Most definitely. Roast's are to die for. Update The majority of the staff were miserable, ignorant, unhelpful and downright terrible. We were told, after waiting 15 minutes that the food would be another half hour with no reason given. The staff treated us with contempt whilst asking about it. The food, when it arrived in dribs and drabs, was bloody lovely as usual. When ordering puddings the miserable git on the till would not allow any substitutions like we're normally allowed, i.e. pouring cream instead of ice cream. We went for my sister's birthday which was pretty much ruined due to the staff attitude. We will have to think long and hard before going again.

I loved the food & drinks plus the service was welcoming & good.

Four of us had a carvery for our Christmas get together today (20th December) and the food was of very poor quality. The turkey was slimy and not fit for human consumption. We requested a box so we could take it home for the dog! After complaining to the manager, he was not interested and said no one else had complained so it was only our opinion. Needless to say we will not be returning.

This place is pretty much spot on for food, value, service and atmosphere. Never been on a Sunday so can’t comment on that but whenever I’ve been it’s always been a pleasant experience. Highly recommend!!

Atomoshere really nice, music playing in the back ground. a good volume , so you can have a conversation, whilst listen to the music . The staff Niamh, was very welcoming, friendly and hepful. I will diffently be coming back, the cake which l ate , was amazing size brilliant for vaule .

Absolutely incredible!!! Such an amazing experience. Food was insanely good, and the cake selection was to die for!! As a former chef at a different greene king pub, I have to applaud your chefs for their fantastic food and all their hard work!!

We went mid week, choice of 3 meats good selection of veg, but cauliflower cheese was mush, left under hot lights to long. The smallest sprouts in the world under cooked, peas were wrinkled. Best gravy ever, really thick and tasty. Staff friendly.

Carvery pub grub and huge cakes

First time here, the Carvery was amazing and the cakes were just out of this world. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will visit again when next in the Cotswolds.

Visited Rose Tree Farm for lunch for the first time yesterday, even though I am a Gloucestrian. Internal evironment very pleasant, all staff I spoke to very pleasant. Carvery - potatoes, carrots, cauli cheese, parsnips, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, horseradish sauce - nice, absolutely fine; But - Yorkshire hard and overcooked, sprouts hard and undercooked, both beef and gammon tough and difficult to cut and chew. Even took home for a sandwich. Would visit again as value good but would be rather more careful in what I hose to put on the plate. Any why on earth do you have mint sauce on offer when there is no lamb? E J W Curtis GL1 3LX

After a busy day I didn't want to cook so called in and got a table ! The carvery was fresh and hot with a wide choice of veg .All very tasty.The turkey was beautiful .Staff attentive as always and we left with cake 😂.Thanks to you all once again
