Great place that has an impressive Food Menu,a well poured Guiness and real freindly Bar-Staff.The outdoor seating area is also a very nice space to spend your time kicking back in.

Had a wonderful time at our Bottomless Brunch! We had Brandon serving us who was absolutely lovely and made sure that we were gooa and comfortable at all times ! Would definitely go for Round 2 !

Kait was our server and she was brilliant, quick, friendly and funny, definitely made our bottomless brunch experience better. Cam also brought our Prosecco over in absolute style! Had a brilliant time because of their service.

Kait was a STAR, we love her. She really made the whole night. Drinks were flowing, only because of Kait. She needs a pay rise. The food was really mid but Kait made our experience so much better.

You know what you're getting with Slug. BUT, what you don't know that you're getting is Kait. She was the star 🌟 of the show. She was very accommodating, funny, and lovely!! Cam was also very friendly and helpful! The only letdown was the Caesar salad, it was made with spinach, iceberg lettuce and edamame beans. It's supposed to be romaine lettuce, no spinach or beans 🥲 but it's FINE because Kait was so good. Miss her already.

My daughter in law had such a bad meal she couldn't eat it. Even the staff said there were lots of complaints about the dish. She went hungry. We went home and will never use Stonegate again.

Could not rate this place. Pre-ordered meal not prepared, missing items, wrong items, plates not cleated, not very friendly staff except for one young man who was very helpful. Discount not offered. Place nit even busy so no excuse. Very poor.

Didn't rate the food at all here, not a lot for your money.. the music was far too loud,Couldn't hear yourself think..took ages to get served, some of our party had cold meals, which were sent back and by the time they arrived with hot food everyone else had long finished theirs. Wouldn't recommend it.

Great vibes here tonight, cocktails brilliant, the best bouncer ever, genuine nice bloke, funny, interacted with everyone, really friendly guy and made everyone laugh, he was bald with a black beard, made us laugh all night. He was entertaining Everyone but needed to be strict when called upon. Top man. Why can't all bouncers be like this, it stops trouble

I don't known if they changed the management or chiefs and staff.... But the food prices gone up but quality of food has slipped, staff customer service has gone down....

Really pleasant bar. Polite and friendly barmaids. Modern and pretty establishment. Outdoor seating was brilliant in the sun. Tasty cocktails. Surprisingly, a very good Guinness. Cocktails on 2-4-1 which worked out at about £6.50-7/drink. Very busy being in the middle of town on a Saturday evening. Would recommend.

We visited the slug and lettuce for a lunchtime meal and a drink on a Wednesday afternoon so it was really quiet, which is why I marked down atmosphere so not the venue”s fault . The member of staff was absolutely brilliant ( Victoria) , welcoming, attentive, fun and refreshingly happy compared to other places we had visited that day (despite the lack of customers and it probably feeling like a long day) . Food was good, well priced and came quickly. Overall great experience 🙌
