Visited here a lot as a child so decided to pay a visit with the family for a carvery today. Quickly served at the bar and given tokens to collects our food. Beef, turkey and pork on offer, I had a bit of each. The food wasn’t bad but the potatoes were quite undercooked, the Yorkshire puddings were awful, huge burnt rocks, totally inedible and unfortunately the food was luke warm. Meat was lovely as was the gravy and the cauliflower cheese. Great atmosphere in the pub but the food was a bit of a let down.

Food is ok. Service is diabolical slow waited over 40 minutes for 1 pudding. Would never come back here again.

Tapas are delicious, easy to eat. Lovely cocktails. Chip in my glass led to a quick replacement cocktail with no hassel. Great evening.

We came to the pub on Tuesday evening and it was surprisingly busy, we ordered food and it came out before the time we was given at the bar about the wait, the food was amazing and I recommend the cod and chips the size of the fish was amazing it covered the plate 😍 Will be back

Having driven past and liked the look of the place, we returned 3 days later for lunch. The staff were fantastic and friendly and the food excellent. I had the oyster variety starter and the Vietnamese ones were stunning. Highly recommended.... We will be back.

Went for lunch here on a sunny Friday and the first thing to say was the incredible service by Jasmin. Asked my kids’ names and was wonderful with them. She was so friendly and attentive - couldn’t do enough for us. I had the tuna poke bowl, which was so fresh, vibrant and delicious. Ordered my boys pizzas and for £8 they were really good value. Generous size and lots of topping. My mum had fish and chips, gluten free, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Best fish she’s had in a long time. The setting is stunning, overlooking the beautiful bandstand and water. Hard to beat in summer. Felt like o was abroad!

Breakfast was so yum, lovely atmosphere lovely staff. Spoke to Katie and Allie and were super friendly and helped me with coffee options!

Paid £14.25 for two pints. Served in plastic cups. Abysmal. Would never come back

Excellent hidden gem - the family room was very spacious and very comfortable. Service is on point all the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Pool is a bit small but ok to dip in and for the little ones to enjoy

Brilliant service, we had a huge family 20 plus they gave all our meal with ease, was able to pay at the bar per family and paid for our own drinks at the bar too, which made the meal experience with a huge group a lot less stressful, would definitely come back when I come Bristol again All the food was amazing no complaints from any off us
