Christmas meal for 13 of usā¦ā¦absolutely fabulous night! The food was amazing - it arrived hot and was very tasty, the portions were big and every course was of a high standard! The pub had a live band, there was dancing and singing and a whole lot of fun ! Thank you White Hart! Thoroughly recommend the venue for a Christmas party!

We booked for the Carvery by Candlelight tonight to celebrate a friend's 80th birthday. I booked immediately I saw it advertised and was assured we could sit in the Conservatory. On arrival I was told they had moved us into the bar area and that they had tried to ring me several times but I had not answered the phone. No surprise there as they had written down the wrong phone number! Meats were very good but some of the veg were too al dente and cold. The only hot veg was the cauliflower cheese. When dessert arrived we asked for a fork as well as a spoon, only to be told they didn't have any forks available ??? We ordered coffee - 3 x Latte and one Americano. The lad came and said they had no Lattes so we all ended up with Americanos. Pub full of people and no Latte available, who does the ordering in this place, it's not as if it's an unusual request, all pubs, cafes and restaurants have Latte, but not the Babbling Brook. Been going to the BB for 8 years but suffice to say we won't be coming again, the Bistro up the road is where we will be spending our money in the future.

I recently visited a small local pub and had a fantastic experience. The service was absolutely great, with staff who were not only attentive but also incredibly friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy some time with friends. I highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a cozy place with excellent service!

This brilliant pub off the beaten track is a foodie happiness destination. Dropped in for our lunch on the way home from visiting friends in Shropshire. Fantastic that they have a proper ale rarebit on sourdough with their own brown sauce. The chargrilled pork chop was perfect as was the baked cod on a bed of cassoulet. The dark treacle date pudding with a big mound of clotted cream was a thing of delight. Great staff, good atmosphere and decent car park.

Just got home from a fabulous Christmas dinner. The food was superb, the staff attentive but not overly so, they really couldn't have done more for us. A splendid night at a splendid establishment. If you're looking for somewhere to go as a group or a couple, you won't go far wrong making the trip to Liddington's little gem - The Village Inn. š
