The best restaurants in South West

Our daughter has been raving about the salad boxes and scotch eggs, I finally made it today. Had a bit of everything in the large salad box,certainly full of flavour, bombay scotch egg packs a real punch too. Can't wait to go back and sample the quiches.

This place is fabulous! Always fresh, home cooked food, decent portions and good selection. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, friendly service and good value …what’s not to love?!

We came for Sunday lunch and the Carvery, an ideal way to get lunch. The meats and vegetables were well cooked and all tasted delicious. It is good value for money and a nice atmosphere.. The staff are always helpful and are just nice people. We plan to come regularly and always have had a good experience.

Paddy and Bernie perfect hosts. Lovely bijou hotel right on the esplanade handy for everything, it may be small but it is spotlessly clean, warm and friendly, comfortable and laid back. We found this only two years ago but we try and get back here two or three times a year. It deserves patronage, but don't all rush, leave some for us.

Lovely Portuguese cafe in chard clearly serving the local Portuguese community. Simple no grills place but good home cooked food and a very friendly service.

Entrance is easy to miss with no menu at the stairs. Once upstairs excellent selection of food and drinks Breakfast, sandwiches and snacks. Wise range of hot and cold drinks. All really well priced.

We all had hot baguettes-sausages and bacon freshly cooked, the baguettes were very nice. My Daughters enjoyed their smoothie and chocolate milkshake. Service was good also.

Lovely cooked breakfast, pancakes and bacon roll. Friendly service and nice environment. Close walk from the car park. Highly recommend.

The best place for pizza in Newquay without question! We always go to Pizza Express or the Stable but will be going to Pizza Jockey’s from now on!!

Excellent but a little expensive.

One of the best fish and chips in cinderford by far lovely and warm chips would definitely recommend going their 5 stars in my opinion ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Visited every morning during our stay in Budleigh Salterton. Great choice of breakfasts and really friendly staff. Highly recommend.

A lovely hidden gem, serving amazing authentic tapas. We came for lunch and were very satisfied with all the dishes served. Great sized portions and all very tasty. A stand out was the aubergine fritters with honey. Truly delicious, I've not had this dish done so well since visiting Tapeo tapas bar in Barcelona (if you've been you'll know how good that place is!). Will definitely be back for more! Also, the decor inside is very well done and service excellent. Highly recommended.

In a town of excellent, varied restaurants this may be the best. Cheery staff. Marvellous food with a Middle Eastern twist. Perhaps the best "full works breakfast' that I have ever had. A pleasant atmosphere, and come the warmer weather, a nice garden. Watch out for the unusual Wednesday/Thursday closure days
