First time here with a friend who had been before. Lovely food reasonably priced. Service and staff excellent. Thank you all.

Such a delightful little cafe, occasionally drop in there between trains. Always a lovely welcome and excellent food. Possibly the unofficial Salisbury branch of the 'Darby and Joan' club but that just adds to the gentle atmosphere.

So i am writing this straight after leaving. My husband and i stopped in for lunch on our way for a train and what a gem. Fresh homecooked and delicious food, a wonderful atmosphere if you weren't smiling when you walked in you definitely are upon leaving. The waitress was all smiles up for a chat and knew everyone's names it was lovely to see. Heidi thank you for making us feel so welcome and we will definitely be back

I should have written this years ago. I go to this place very regularly for a breakfast.. without doubt the best fry up in Salisbury.. every single time I get a perfect breakfast the standard never slips…

Eggs on toast and 1 sausage ..£7. I'm a local trader trying to get by and could not believe it everyone's got to make a living ,BUT. Also cash only, never again

CASH ONLY. Food was fantastic, perfect and enough. Service was lively and friendly. Cutlery clean, unlike other places. It's a good sign when the hash brown is not placed in the liquid of the tomatoes or beans. Also nice to have my toast buttered before arrival. Bacon was good, egg perfect, better than usual tomatoes, chips nice and crisp on the outside - soft in the middle - just right. Nice coffee too. I've just got to remember to get cash before entering.

Tried the Flamingo for the first time based on other reviews. We had two cooked breakfasts. They were happy to swap toast for fried bread which made my other half happy. Lovely mug of tea too. It was a lovely breakfast & giving 4 stars instead of 5 just because we are not keen on herby sausages. Very friendly and a decent price. We will visit again!

Popped in while my family shopped. Quaint small restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. I had a simple egg and bacon sandwich (which was delicious) and a coffee. Restaurant is cash only, so be prepared. Can't wait to go back!

I came for my first cooked breakfast since the last lockdown was relaxed & you could now eat indoors!I have been to other restaurants for a cooked breakfast but Flamingos is by far the best & it was really good to visit them again and have a truly first class proper English breakfast !The staff are lovely ☺️, Michele, Vicky & Ann!!

It’s such a cozy, intimate, simple yet warm-spirited place. The lady was super kind and their special and full English Breakfast were very good. We had a very enjoyable time and good food (plus huge portions)!

Sometimes you just need a good quality full English breakfast, and of all the places in Salisbury that I have tried over the years in the search of the best full English going, Flamingo is consistently and by far the best for me. Love it and cannot wait for the next sitting. Friendly staff, well cooked good quality breakfast, perfect.

Went here today for breakfast. As on previous visits, very friendly staff, great food and lovely coffee. We won't leave it so long to go again.

Staff unfriendly, told us to stay outside with our work clothes on. Food was nice, but not worth the money. £6 for a small jacket potato and a few scraps of salad.

Great locals cafe. Wonderful breakfasts and great prices. Found this little cafe by a fluke when I stopped in another cafe for breakfast but they had stopped serving breakfast. Asked the owner of this cafe if there was a place still serving breakfast. He said best breakfast in town was at the Flamingo.....and this cafe owner served breakfasts. In addition to the menu they have daily specials. Chap sitting behind me had the chicken casserole that looked amazing.

This is for you if you enjoy a well cooked home made meal. Nothing fancy just lovely home cooked meals and puddings. Good service. Very reasonably priced. I remember eating here back in the 1970’s and it is still very good .

Was here yesterday found it by accident. We went here for breakfast before we headed back home. And we were not disappointed the food was lovely, the place was clean and the staff friendly. Would definitely go back again

Went with friends who rate it highly, we may have been unlucky but my liver was overcooked and my wife's scampi had too much batter. The veg was cooked beautifully, which is a novelty when eating out

Por cuarenta años el Flamingo han sido sirve pollo, cerdo, cordero asado, cenas, pierna de cordero, salchichas y puré tarta de pastores para los locales. Deben estar haciendo algo bien porque no hay muchos restaurantes puede afirmar que ha estado en negocios este largo. Los jubilados en la ciudad de saber dónde ir para una buena comida a un precio razonable. Postres típicos como apple cayera británico y budín de flan al vapor y también están en el menú. No es un establecimiento lujoso, pero sirve a todos sus clientes recién preparado de carne y verduras de la hora del almuerzo, excepto los domingos. Un consejo es ir temprano, a las 12 para la mejor elección de las comidas de la Junta el día!

this is a very good restaurant, serving good homely food. It is very clean and the staff are vey friendly. Their roast are just like you have at home cooked well and plenty of it. Prices are very reasonable

Small family restaurant, varied menu of good homely food.Well frequented by mainly an older crowd. Noticeable a lot of them are regulars, which is always a good sign.
