Maria,Theo,Pete,and staff Ryan,Millie ,Jamie & Alena,plus all staff who’s names we don’t know ( sorry) Brilliant service and food every time we order,shop is always busy but our orders are always spot on and plentiful,thank you all so much. order chips and got a box of chips with a substantial amount less than if I went in and they wrapped them. not sure if I was keen on that as I paid a fortune. quality was good.

If I could my latest experience zero stars I would. Over the years I’ve been buying fish and chips here and it’s been great with decent portion size or if anything too much. I always order large cod and it is massive however today I received 2 slivers of cod. I went back after buying with it to ask if I had been given the wrong cod - the grumpy lady behind the counter opened it and declared it was definitely large and told me sorry you came back and its now cold, wrapped it up and gave it back to me. Not what you expect and I could clearly see the fish that was cooked and waiting was larger. Awful customer service, would rather drive 5 mins further and go to Simpsons-similar price but with food customer service and better tasting food

We have been coming here for years but today is the last time! Purchased two large fish and a portion of chips and were given two very small fish. My husband took them back as we could see that they were definitely not the standard large size sold to us before (if anything the portions were huge previously!) and the rude member of staff member assured him that it was, wrapped it all back up and sent him on his way and cold.. .. It absolutely beggars belief! Charging the same price and shrinking portions. Plus throw lack of customer care into the bargain., no thanks!

Excellent fish and chips. Very generous portions. Fish in lovely light batter and crisp chips. Pre order is very efficient. Collect from the window at the side of the building.

So so sad. We have you a second chance after a couple of awful deliveries. Decided to come in person to see if that made a difference. Nope, still got our order wrong and half of it cold. For the price you charge you would expect you would at least get the order right. You’ve lost loyal customers. I don’t know why it had gone downhill so fast but recent reviews also reflect this. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Order due to be ready for collection at 6:25pm, mum went to collect for this time. Text arrived at 6:40 to say ready for collection. Mum was left stood in cold waiting for order which still wasn’t ready until 7pm as they had “lost the order”.

Great food, shockingly poor delivery. Ordered at 6pm and was delivered at 8pm. Really poor show.

usually really happy with everything but tonight was awful. took over 2hrs for delivery.

The food was nice, but they didn't put the mushy peas in the order which I had paid for, leading to a meal being dry.

Order for collection via just eat, I don’t know the area, was just passing through. Arrived and was so busy the queue was coming out the door! (Must be popular then!). We politely asked people in queue whether they were waiting to order or collect - they told us just round the side of the building was a little window specifically for collections - how amazing! Got our food straight away and was delicious😋 Visited on 22nd December 2023.

Always a delicious meal. The team are amazing, friendly, and they always put a smile on my face. Absolutely love this place. Thank you guys, you're amazing! 😀

Best fish and chips and great delivery

These guys are so consistently good. Tonight's was particularly good. We are blessed to have such a good chippy in Cleeve.

Unfortunately the meal was not hot when delivered needed warming up in the microwave which spoilt the burgers that I ordered this is the first time this has happened but as said spoilt the meal

Always has been the best chippy around. Now that I am less mobile being able to get it delivered is heaven!

Love this chip shop. Never had a bad meal from this place. Sometimes you have to wait a while but that’s a sign of how good they are! Good portions of chips and my Kebab was superb.

Chicken and Chips nowhere near usual standard. The cooking oil tasted well used.

Was within estimated time but an hour and 45 minutes to arrive!

Arrived over two hours after we ordered, over 15 minutes late even after we had to phone to chase, arrived freezing cold and still had one item missing. Won’t be using again service has gone down so badly since lockdown and prices gone up ridiculously.

Took 80 minutes to arrive. We love this place our go to for many orders over the years. But long delivery time and 2/3 meals cold. Very disappointing but too late now just need to eat and head to bed. Hope it was just a bad day

Normally great food from Cleeve Fish Bar but the chips had a really strange taste this evening….like old fat. Hoping things will be better next time.

Monday 3rd October - not enough staff to cope with the number of customers. Appear to be overwhelmed with delivery orders to the detriment of in store customers. Would have been quicker to buy from tesco opposite and cook at home.

Ordered at 7pm said ready to collect by 7:25 which was time to walk into the village to collect. It was ready when I got there and stayed hot for the walk home too. Great food and great service

We were happy to wait initially for what we were told was a ‘quick delivery to get out’ but less so for that to then stretch to 30 minutes being totally ignored as staff then mucked around having a laugh. Only ones in the shop were us. Gave up in the end and and went to Simpsons in Cheltenham for great fish and chips and equally good service!

Been a regular for 20 plus years. As a fish and chips fan I would say they are up with the best in the uk, but more consistent than any other place I have been to, including gourmet fish and chips

I have never had fish and chips that I would prefer. I live in another country and Bishops Cleeve fish and chips is the first meal any of my family have when in the UK, always. The portions are huge so be sure to build up your appetite. I cant recommend it any higher. Just wish I didnt live 400 miles away!

Just got back from holiday and no food in the cupboards. This chippy is great. Their kebabs are to die for. So tasty. Batter is good too.

Only once had an issue and that was with the Just Eat app, Cleeve Fish bar sorted the issue for me so I didn't get charged double. Food has always been spot on. Thank you

Good fish and chips at good prices! The staff can be a bit grumpy, but it's a takeaway so that isn't really an issue. The menus on display place doesn't always show all the options available, so it's best to check online. Halloumi comes in different options; as fingers or battered and others.

Fast friendly delivery of the best fish and chips in Gloucestershire, and probably everywhere else.
