The queue took an hour to get to the front even though fewer people than other Tobys. I would go again just to see if it was just a one-off.

Went here for a Christmas dinner with some friends. The carvery was really good, lots of choices and good selection. Out servers Lily D and Elissa were polite, friendly and attentive. Would recommend. (Raf no: 772)

Awesome service. Our server, Tilly was so patient and professional on our visit. We had family with us from overseas and she had to wait while everything was translated, to top it all she was really good with our 6 year old taking her food order and helping her choose dessert. Then she gave us raffle ticket number 55. Oh the food was great too

The service was mediocre , young staff that were reactive rather than proactive . The Buffett are needed cleaning as excess veg had dropped on the counter , but it wasn’t recent . The meat portions were generous, and most of the veg was available, apart from the sprouts and parsnips . The parsnips were replenished when we asked , we gave up on the sprouts . I was informed my shareholders discount voucher had been used before , which wasn’t the case . If it had , it wouldn’t be in my possession, as they are retained by the establishment. The waitress called the Manager and he sorted it quickly and efficiently. In summary , good value food with generous portions if you prefer .

As usual, the food was delicious and the staff cannot be faulted. The carvery was extremely busy this time, the busiest we've ever seen it, with people queueing pretty much out to the main entrance, waiting for an empty table. The fact they were willing to wait simply shows how much people think of this carvery.

Popped in for breakfast yesterday 1st December lovely restaurant. As for the food. Couldn’t get the bacon as all undercooked and stuck together The beans were just load of tomato slop juice. Hash browns overcooked to the extent you cut them no insides. Black pudding was dry and rock hard. Plus mushrooms had an awful taste. One of the worst experiences we have had. We usually use Toby at Bradley Stoke Bristol and always good. Won’t use this one again sadly

Although I have sent an email as requested by the Toby Carvery at Brockworth - I am yet to receive any type of response about our experience. This review is based on our experience at the carvery, we have dined here before for breakfast where everything was a 5/5 Long wait times to be sat on entry, staff walking past not acknowledging people waiting to be dealt with. Once sat, we all chose the carvery and my husband approached the bar to order. A lady server (who was very nice) came to take our order from the table, where I had mentioned my husband had gone to the bar to order, He returned, being told by the bar team he had to order food through the table team ( not at any point from being sat were we advised of this) Lady server returns, we explain what has happened, she advises we could order food at the bar (already a inconvenience and lack of team comms from management) We proceed to the carvery, where no one is serving, we wait 2/3 minutes and still no one, team members are replenishing the food, but again no acknowledgment, floor staff including a lady supervisor keep going into the kitchen but no one comes out to serve. We see kitchen staff keep coming up to the door window looking through and then walking back to the back of the kitchen. 5 minutes in and the queue is building behind us, and we start to hear grumbling from these people too. A manager walks into the kitchen audible calling for service, but it takes another 2/3 minutes for someone to come out. There was no apology, the kitchen staff looked miserable, and as soon as he had served the lady in front he disappeared back into the kitchen, and then another grumpy looking chef emerged, he was pedantic and nonchalant, someone asked for gammon, turkey and pork and he replied in a cocky manner…”so you want everything but beef then?!” I have no idea what the heck had been happening in that kitchen, but it was taken out on the customers. The food itself was fine, the beef had seen better days and was full of gristle. We complained about the beef, where the manager (who was friendly) told us we should have mentioned it to the kitchen team…( with that experience I think not) It was a good job the food was enjoyed by a majority of our party or it would have really soured the evening.

no turkey . all stuffing on plate hardly any veg. at all. we had a plate of stuffing only one was ordered . gammon was all fat and beef all fat. hardly any meat

Lovely place to eat and staff are excellent. Special offers are available now and then through the Toby app. Staff are more then happy to help with anything even if they are extremely busy. Delicious food but I had to wait 20 mins in the queue as was very busy! I definitely would recommend getting there earlier to avoid a rush or at least by the time you get to your food is the time you are planning to eat. The staff were very helpful and friendly so I can't fault that, was just a busy day as it was Sunday lunchtime. Food was well stocked and good variety.

Carvery food was lovely but was running low, as we had booked a later slot for a table. My daughter enjoyed it too, took home a takeaway vegan carvery for my husband. Lovely attentive and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable place.

Excellent service and food perfect. Popped it in microwave just for a bit more heat. This is no problem. Food was warm and perfectly cooked. The delivery gent was cheerful and polite. Thank you. I'll certainly treat myself again.

Good portion size but too much mash and cauliflower, which was undercooked and hard to cut through. Plenty of meat, carrots & peas, but more roasties instead of so much mash would have been good. Also some broccoli instead of so much cauliflower would also have been better.

I spent a few hours here working, eating and drinking and was incredibly well looked after byJacob. A really lovely atmosphere to get some work done.

I visited Toby Carvery Brockworth with my mother, we always sit at table 30 (old table 17). The staff at this Toby is always welcoming and friendly. We were served by Elissa who was lovely, attentive and professional. The food was well presented and delicious. Looking forward to our next visit, probably 1st December 2024.

All good happy has last time no bacon Got sausages instead when it should of been cancelled if ran out has i at to throw them away don’t eat sausages only in hotdogs and it’s rare

Best customer service we have ever received from any food establishment ever. Our server was Stacey and she went above and beyond to ensure our visit was pleasant. Stacey seemed to be an extremely hardworking individual on our visit. We will definitely come again! Wonderful service, busy as usual but staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and not forgotten. Food quality and quantity for price is great. Would recommend the brockworth branch.

We booked a table for 4 on a Saturday. The atmosphere was pretty relaxed for a family restaurant and the staff were all welcoming and helpful. We were waited by Tilly who was very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed at the table. (Ticket 246) The carvery meat portions were plentiful and there was a great selection of vegetables and sides. All the hot food was well cooked and tasty. We ordered puddings for the table. They were good portions and delicious. Refillable glasses are available, which you refill yourself at the machines. We would highly recommend this Toby Carvery Restaurant, we've never had a bad experience here.

Very good roast and a nice price

The line for the carvery was almost 30 minutes long and with a baby in a pram, is totally unaccessible. There was also a 20 minute delay in between us asking for the bill and being able to pay it when we were in a rush to get home.

We enjoyed a carvery on Sunday night, our server was Cuba (244 ticket) and she couldn’t be more helpful.

There was nothing great about it. We reserved a table and arrived slightly before. Staff who seated us seemed to want to be anywhere else than where she was. Waited sometime for waitress to take our order though she did have the whole area to do by herself. She was a bit more cheerful. Asked at carvery if the Yorkshire's were done in animal fat. Got a sarcastic we aren’t that posh here they’re all done in vegetable fat. I’m surprised we got this far after observing a half dozen flys buzzing around. The roast potatoes were cold. The carrots boiled to death. The Yorkshire was like rubber. I might have to have therapy if I ever step in a Toby again. We had booked the following night too but didn’t even both turning up. Cranberry juice was watered down. John Smiths beer was the best part of the meal.

we had a lovely time at toby carvery. the staff were great, especially our server Stacey. despite the long wait for food, she made sure we were happy and all the staff were helpful when a family member became ill. Stacey made a birthday celebration a really great time. Thank you!

Long queue, helpful staff, great food.

Everything chucked haphazardly in a cardboard bowl. Vegetables all stalks, roast potatoes the dregs from the tray and didn't get the extra gravy I requested. Won't be ordering again!

Went along on Wednesday Evening for a carvery at about 6pm. Booked a table, the pub was fairly busy but not packed. Had to wait quite a while for our drinks order to be taken. Eventually got our drinks and went up to carvery. Have to say it’s the best Toby Carvery we’ve had in a long time. Credit to the kitchen brigade! No checkback completed our waitress. So weren’t asked if we wanted anymore to drink. After finishing our meals the plates were cleared, no prompt about desserts. We would have happily ordered if we knew what puddings were available however we had no menus on the table and no prompt from staff. After ten minutes of just sitting there waiting, we couldn’t see our waitress so eventually just went up to the bar and just paid and left. Not sure if the waitress had too many tables, wasn’t experienced enough or had to do other tasks instead of just waitressing? Would visit again but I think going forward we will just take a casual approach and just order at the bar and eat in the bar area! Some feedback for the Toby HQ, if you’ve using less FOH staff and trying to people to order on app etc maybe you might want to remove your “please ask the staff what our x dessert is” and advert in a better way or keep the flavouring consistent! That should help drive your sales up 👍

We have visited several times in the past, but were disappointed by the messiness of the servery area and floor. Since the recent refurb, this is much improved and today we were delighted by the cleanliness and freshness of the offerings. We were very well looked after by all staff, especially Tilly who was most friendly and helpful, and gave us a raffle ticket number 264. The only little niggle - no Worcestershire Sauce for the Tomato Juice, a minor problem. We will be back!

The food was tasty but lukewarm, the drinks took ages to come. No knives on our table, so when we ordered our drinks I asked for knives. We eventually took knives off another table.

Liked it, didn't see any cereals or orange juice on display so it is literally just the fry up, toast plus a few other bits and tea and coffee (re fillable).

Good pub food, lovely staff and reasonable prices. Four meats, plenty of vegetables as well as pasta, three potato options and gravy inc a veggie option. Good rage of beers. Plenty of parking.

A best value carvery meal, very nicely served and plentiful. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Our Waitress - Tilly Ticket 183, was smart, attentive and very polite. No hesitation in recommending this Toby Inn.

Really good food and great but not intrusive service. It wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be so excellent value for money. I will be going again. Update I have revisited several times this year and I haven't changed my mind about anything still brilliant value for money.
