Food was average and not as hot as you'd want, but the young waitress was very good

By arriving late afternoon we'd timed it just right before the queue built up. As before, the food was excellent and very good value. Our server Chloe was incredibly helpful, polite and efficient, despite being very busy. Was very impressed and will come back many times again in the future. Our raffle ticket was 118.

One of the best tobys I've been to me and friends visited this branch today, great food,friendly staff, great atmosphere, visited this one after leaving and getting a refund from tobys highnam for poor food and rude staff, tobys Brockworth one of the best will definitely be visiting again

Carvery was not nice. Dry potatoes, dirty carrots, overburnt parsnips, dried out Yorkshires. Disappointed really.

A recently refurbished Toby - most look very tired but this looks bright and clean. Big thumbs up to the staff as the service was terrific!

I've never had a problem when eating here and love that they gave an app with deals now. I don't go for the deals but always cheap to see if they have a deal when I arrive and they normally do 😊

Lovely food, a bit limited as some things weren't available at time of selection, the pigs in blankets were a bit disappointing as just the supermarket type but overall a nice meal, the lady that served us was very nice and friendly and attentive, ladies toilets not good, not good at all.

Went to Tody Carvery in Cannock for a evening meal few months ago with my family, it was absolutely amazing. So decided to go again but in Brockworth. Which was a bad decision, service was terrible, as if there was any, waitress looked like a zombie, with no smile, not even a bit of politeness, but food was good

Went for a carvery in Brockworth as usual, and it didn't fail to impress me with the quality of food and service. Our server Tilly (Raffle no. 326) couldn't be more polite and courteous with her service, and with Toby's special offers, the meal tasted all the more sweeter.

We visited on Easter Sunday evening expecting it to be really busy, but it wasn’t too bad! Our table was clean (and not sticky like a lot of carvery’s!) , our server Ella was friendly, smiley and attentive (but not overbearing). Food was hot and plenty of it as usual. Desserts were yummy. A bit disappointed that they have taken off the flavoured drinks from the machine (can no longer get cherry Pepsi etc) but that’s no big deal really. Did have to ask for cranberry sauce as it was empty but other than that, it was a great visit! 👍

This review is NOT just for the Toby carvery in Brockworth, Gloucester, but all branches. Meat portions are small, due to no salt being used in the cooking of vegetables, the veg offerings were extremely bland! I had been looking forward to the carvery for several months, ill health had prevented us from going before. I fear I shall not be going again. I must say though, the staff were courteous, professional responsive and swift in service. It is a lovely semi rural location with good bus service. Lovely surroundings and well worth a visit if you enjoy tasteless food.

Came here with a kids eat gor £1 voucher from a Facebook advert. We booked a table for 7 pm. We sat in a booth close to the servery. Our timing seemed perfect because there wasn't a queue to collect our carvery. Kaya, our server, was friendly, polite, and very efficient. (Raffle ticket number 121). Adult carvery on a week day was £10.99 and in the end, we spent a total of £38. Drinks pushed the price up, and the cider was £4.50, which isn't bad, apple and orange juice were £3.25 and JTO was £3.50. But overall, spending less than £40 in this day and age for a family meal is a bargain.

Don’t book if it’s Mother’s Day etc. Not sure what the point of a booking system is if so many people turn up at the same time. So many people waiting with queues of 1 hour plus. The amount of people in one small space waiting surely isn’t safe, if there was a fire alarm there would be no chance of people getting out safely.

Absolutely disgusting plates was filthy clearly stevie wonder is allowing plates to go out like that & and they are old and black ring around the. Vile! Food is basic shouldn’t even be called food. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! At least change your plates filthy place

Great breakfast before a long journey north ! Staff went out of their way to accommodate my vegetarian needs, couldn't have been more accommodating. Delicious food as always for the price won't hesitate to return when next in the area !

After my interview, I stopped by for a drink and then decided to enjoy a carvery, as it would be too late for me to cook at home. I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the excellent experience I had. The blonde lady who was checking guests in and escorting them to their tables demonstrated remarkable professionalism and confidence, and she truly deserves commendation for her outstanding service. The carvery itself was delicious, and I was impressed by how the chefs were meticulously cleaning and maintaining the area, which reflects their commitment to quality and cleanliness. I look forward to returning in the future!

The Brockworth carvery is very popular and busy, but always well worth the visit. food is always excellent, along with brilliant he;pful staff; nothing seems too much for them. Well done.

Omg the staff here are a absolute disgrace there slow don’t wait to take peoples order presume everyone is having a roast you lot need to have a bit of enthusiasm and respect for your job instead off talking amongst yourself have a bit of pride in your job if u don’t want to work there there’s always Burger King Mac Donald’s and even replacing the trolleys at a supermarket

Ordered food all you gave was half a tub of mash x2 pathetic suppose to be 4 meats in one and 3 in the other was tiny fingertip slice on gammon and the other had no gammon the children’s meal had more meat and had a small tiny slice on beef pathetic

We had the pleasure of visiting Toby in Brockworth for breakfast, and I must say we were very pleased! The Swedish buffet offered a variety of delicious options, and the traditional English breakfast was simply fantastic. The food was fresh and tasty, and the diverse selection ensured everyone found something they enjoyed. The service was friendly and helpful, which made our morning even more enjoyable. We definitely recommend this place for a tasty breakfast!

Had roast beef with roast potatoes and vegetables with gravy and Yorkshire pudding . The food was bland no flavour what so ever the Yorkshire pudding was raw you could smell the egg in it. Restaurant temperature to hot.

Arranged and booked dinner with our family, after my husband came out of hospital and to celebrate our grandson's birthday this was for seven of us all together. We come here often and the food as always is very good. They allowed my husband to have a small plate as he was not very hungry and the rest of us tucked into the roast dinner. Starters, puddings and drinks were all good. The only thing is my grandson's fiance said she would have liked something different from a carvery but there is not a lot else on the menu so she had the carvery anyway. We will be back in the near future I am sure. Tilly was our server and our raffle ticket is 640 for the 2 course meal for 4.

Was awful usually it’s great but last night was just plain terrible. Food was stone cold. And I’ve booked to go to dentist after the Yorkshire puds as they were like stone. Not to mention the meat dried out and the beef was just pure fat. Also the gravy well I may have well poured a pint of water on it. Will be staying away from here for a while.

This is a popular carvery. I enjoyed my experience overall. My only gripe was the loud music. Turn it down a notch. I had already asked to be in a quieter section. See you again soon mind.

I visited Toby Carvery Brockworth with my Mum on 2nd Feb 2025 and sat at our usual table 30. The staff at this Toby are always welcoming and friendly. We were greeted by Geoff or Jeff the manager, who's been at this Toby for at least 9 or 10 years. We were served by Lily G, who is new to us; she was welcoming, attentive, courteous and professional. The food was well presented and delicious. Looking forward to our next visit, on 20th Feb 2025, my Birthday. Many thanks Dave
