The Vigilance in Torbay

The Vigilance is our local Wetherspoons. A former Boots the Chemist's store, it doesn't have the architectural interest of many Wetherspoons pubs. However it more than makes up for that with its friendly and efficient staff and the quality of the food. On our latest visit the pub was busy. We ordered fish and chips which was on Special, so great value. The drinks arrived almost immediately and the food within a few minutes. Fish, chips and peas were all served really hot and were excellent. The staff member came back to check all was okay. A big thumbs up!

Ordered steak & chips & burger and chips chips was cold sent both meals back they did meals again only thing I can say is a few more chips this time with the burger instead of 12 chips. Burger over cooked all round it was an absolute awful meal thank goodness for the blue anchor amazing meal there

Steak tasted tough as olé boots, bbq sauce tasted like amber leaf could have gone for a fag if I wanted that, Harry’s coleslaw was like scampi toxic waste, Chips amazing STAY CLEAR AWFUL PS. Chicken strips like cow tongue

Came in here the other day for a meal with the kids.. The food was great.. Plenty of it and the kids was happy.. Nice and cleas establishment and will visit again soon..

Typical 'spoon but a little dark. Service was good and the nice toilets are not far from the bar. makes a change from climbing stairs and walking a long way.

The app didn’t work this time. I ordered the food at the bar. I waited and waited, the 2 staff were busy doing other things rather than putting customers first and serving me and the only other person at the bar. The pepperoni pizza was so-so. However my burger! I ordered a double cheeseburger, with a drink it was £10+. When it arrived is was significantly smaller than a McDonalds double cheeseburger, a LOT more expensive and it was thoroughly overcooked and dry. The chips looked good but were soggy to the point of inedible. There were more kids in here than adults (even though I accept it’s grockle season). It’s got worse, I was a regular, but NEVER again!! 0/10

Absolutely horrendous place, I was served by someone called John who was the most ignorant person I've ever met, he was dirty, his hair was greasy he had no manners, it's awful that a place like this would employ someone like that, we definitely won't be going back.

9 members of my family met up in Brixham for our annual get together and choose to try the Vigilance for our mealand as normal the British summer was wet so we started by needing to push through the doorway which had 7 smokers blocking it and after getting inside the place stank of ciggerett smokeblowing in from the group of 20 year olds blocking the door we had a moan at a member of staff who said there was nothing they could do about it so on the back of that comment we took our money to another resturant and wetherspoons lost by £148 which was our final bill for our meal and drinks. I will never use them again.

This is an amazing pub for food & drink, staying in Brixham for 9 nights, had food here 3 times. The special menu for fish & chips until 5pm was amazing, the fish & chips were exceptional & so was the price which incurred a drink, highly recommended

Lovely friendly and welcoming staff, all working really hard, but nothing was to much trouble. Was good to see a good selection of beer on. Food was spot on, will definitely be returning

I had the mixed grill and my wife had the all day brunch. They were both good, we would expect that. The surprising thing was how very quickly it came out. I don't see how anyone could cook a mixed grill that quickly. I also like that the place was warm as we had been out walking and were a bit cold. The toilets were extremely close to the bar, for a Wetherspoons - in a good way.

Food was standard, service was excellent - Josh the waiter was doing his absolute best to keep everybody happy. He deserves a promotion!!

The barman Josh was as absolute delight last night when me and my 2 friends visited last night 😊 he was attentive, polite, and wonderful sense of humour 😌 I wanted sour cream for my burrito salad that wasn’t included & he got the chef to arrange 👍 He is a asset to Weatherspoons 🍸🍻

On a cold mid November evening we had tried a couple of other eateries at about 20.00 and they were both closing their kitchens. The fall back venue was Vigilance - which was buzzing! A veggie meal for Mrs D and a steak meal with all the trimmings for me - and the steak was really good - I would have been happy with it in a much more expensive establishment.

Great service, quick & efficient, lovely food, freshly cooked, but ruined by serving the burger in a brioche bun. Would have givenit 5* if not for this. It appears all Wetherspoons burgers are now served in this stodgy Americanised c**p. Have always enjoyed going to this pub, our favorite place to go in Torbay and well worth the journey from Torquay to Brixham. Sadly, not any more, will not be going again.

Came here with the missus and kids for a drink.. The kids had 3 bowls of Cheesie Chips that came £13 pound. Bit steep.. But we had a nice time and the pub itself is one of the better spoons we've been to..

We ended up visiting this Wetherspoons twice in one day, which is a first for us, the first for lunch and the second later in the day for the desserts. The staff were excellent, serving food with a smile, cleaning tables as soon as they could and the place was one of the cleanest Wetherspoons we had come across. I did make a point of complimenting the Manager (he was fixing the coffee machine at the time). Well done to all

Table sticky from previous occupantsUnable to order online - everything came up as unavailable, so had to order at barDrinks and Food arrived quicklyI had the Lemon And Herb Half Char grilled chicken with coleslawNo coleslaw available......The chicken had never seen a chat grill...everIt was pale and bland and swimming in some sort of gravy....Mixed grill and Scampi meals were alright

Haven't been here due to Covid for some time. Josh was not only looking after us ( and others ( but his colleagues as well. Ale good food good but Josh you were as well. A brilliant ambassador for the chain.

Had to queue for 5 min due to the place being full , understandable due to smaller Covid capacity. Having said that the staff couldn't do enough, running around, making room for people, arranging and cleaning tables as soon as they came free. Got sat down, got drinks, cheap and excellent. We then ordered food via the wetherspoons app, the drinks arrived within 2mins and the food about 10 min later. Cannot fault the dedication of the hard-working staff, who were brilliant, especially the two girls front of house. Yet another fantastic value wetherspoons meal.

We visited as a family of 5 adults and 2 children today, what a disgusting experience! The drinks were surrounded by fruit flies and the floor was full of discarded food while staff stood around laughing and joking between themselves!! Have always gone to Wetherspoons for a family friendly drink and meal and will think again next time we are away on a holiday !

Called in here for an impromptu breakfast. Great value as usual and tasty food. You always know you're on holiday when you have an English breakfast with a beer!

Good covid measures with barrier across doors and they check that you have signed in. Easy to order on the App and the food comes quickly. Food not perfect but it's good value and I've paid more for worse!Annoying that the coffee machines didn't always work, sanitiser dispenser to the side of the coffee machine not working, muffin breakfasts out of stock, no sweeteners in 4 days. Good job the the food is priced well & served quickly!

Service was really quick. Thumbs up for that. The peppercorn sauce I paid extra for was horrible. Was taken away from me(but no refund offer). And when I found weird curly hair in my peas(pulled out of me mouth). That just puts you off rest of the food completely. And do not sit next to the kitchen (music choice in there isn't everyone's cuppa). Really disappointed

Used for drinks and had a couple of evening meals. Usual COVID procedures and didn’t have to wait long for a table. Given a card to show if we wanted Table Service or were fine at the moment. Sometimes a Server would look and respond fairly quickly, other times they appeared to have a ‘can’t be bothered attitude’. Food was generally OK although a pending change of menu meant several items were missing. Alright to use if you have the App!

Stopped by for a quick lunch on my first day. Contactless in effect and enough table to adequately so distance. Quick service and good food so no complaints.

We got a seat immediately and found it really easy to order food on the app.although there is a disposable menu if you want one.I had steak and it was really tender my son had the empire burger and that was just as impressive ..well worth a visit

First time back since 2020 and great to be able to go for a drink. The staff are very professional and everything is Covid safe. Felt like our old local again and we’re glad we can go and enjoy a nice sociable drink again.

Called here whilst on our break to Brixham. Service was very good, with staff monitoring the doors ensuring all customers were signing in to track and trace before being allowed in. As well as drinks we had food, and whilst typical spoons fare, the 10oz rump steak I had was perfectly cooked and one of the best I have had. Great service and value all round

Visited this pub several times over a week and found it brilliant. The Manageress is outstanding and in light of the Covid19 restrictions, has got her staff well trained to the new regulations. Both she and her assistant managers, each took a stint at the door dressed in High Vis jackets. No one, but no one got past them without filling in Track & Trace.As a customer, we and everyone else were shown to their table for seating.The tables and toilets were all clean and well sanitized! Glasses were regularly collected.The food and Beers were to Weatherspoon's high standard.Pity other pubs can't operate as this to protect us from Covid19 whilst we enjoy a pint!

as expected from Spoons. Great service and value for money. Will be back early 2021. Perfectly located for harbour access etc and I hope the poor girl who was waiting tables (normally works kitchen) is having a better day haha she had a few dropsies! Wasn't her day bless her

Nice pub, friendly staff. Extensive drinks and food menus. Brilliant value for money. All Covid guidelines adhered to. Definitely recommend.

Today just wasn’t it. The chips weren’t cooked properly, my food wasn’t how I ordered it and how it usually is. Not on. The waitresses and waiters were rude and didn’t fill us in on all the information and we got shouted out by 2 different people at the till. Disgusting behaviour.

We arrived on a Saturday morning to be greeted at the door which you would expect. Completed Track & Trace & were told emphatically that it was just 1 person at the bar. This was in line with COVID standards & perfectly acceptable. However 2 drunk men came in after us & were allowed to hang around the bar clearly chatting to the barmaid & nothing was said by either security or the barmaid. If you’re going to have rules (which are essential at the moment) then please ensure the rules are enforced with all customers. This was a shame as the screens are in place to segregate the tables so we felt safe at the table & the breakfast was excellent & very good value.

First thing to say is that the meals were very good, our steaks were tender and well prepared.However on arrival, despite a member of staff patrolling the door and seating us, no information was taken for track and trace. A little while later there was no one monitoring the door.We were given the single use printed menus, as with other Wetherspoons we have visited since covid, but the copy was unreadable due to the poor print. I did check some other copies on nearby tables and they were all the same. I asked a member of staff if there were any better copies and he said that he didn't think so, then a lady who I think was in charge said she would check behind the bar for us. She did not return. I realise these are difficult times and we did eventually manage to order but customer care levels were below our expectations. Not wanting to dwell on the negatives I repeat that the meals were very good. We may try this pub again next year.

Your typical wetherspoons in the excellent town of brixham. good value plenty of seating in ok atmosphere. Its in the town bout 15 mins walk from the sea.

Came away on hoilday and 1st time out to eat.. on arrival we had to wait aside (was about 15 mins which wasnt bad) they tried to get us all close as possible as there was 7 of us.. ordered through my phone and all food arrived within 15-20minutes all meals was brought out together (2 separate orders) all cooked well with excellent service, Will recommend :) Covid friendly.

Excellent! The first night I had steak, very impressed it was just a basic steak no frills but must say best steak I had in a long time.We was there 4 days and visited every evening, was a massive contribution to our very enjoyable stay in Brixham. We both enjoyed every meal, excellent value and excellent staff. My only criticism was the fish, really that,s the wrong thing to say, it wasn,t as good as expected (still very enjoyable) but the level of excellence with the other meals was very high. A massive thanks to the staff who worked extremely hard, thank you will definitely return if around that area in the future.

We always visit the Vigilance when on Holiday in Brixham. We luckily managed three visits during a very busy August 2020 week. We also managed to take advantage of the 50% off scheme, which benefited us greatly. The pub was very busy each time we visited and you can see the staff are working hard during these testing times. The speed in which they deliver both food and drinks ordered via the app is very impressive. My Mom highly recommends the Chilli Con Carne. A long term favourite of mine is the Breakfast Wrap. We plan to return several times when next in Brixham at Easter. Thanks.

Excellent service on arrival and throughout. All staff were polite and efficient and we waited a short while for a table before we could be seated. The lady (I’m assuming the manager) was very efficient and ensured we did the track and trace along with making sure everything was ok. Meals came quickly considering they were busy and someone came to check everything was ok. We didn’t have the app to order so ordered at the bar which was fine but the app is preferred. The lady thanked us on leaving the only downside was one item we wanted to order wasn’t available.

We had 2 meals here on our weeks holiday to Brixham/ Wetherspoons pubs always good value & friendly. We visited shortly after they reopened after lockdown & safety measures were in place

Went to spoonies for a good breakfast. However the turn out was unexpected. As a waitress myself, I always understand people’s needs and that the customer is always right. However the waitress and waiter here ignored me on multiple occasions while I sat with my hand up very politely. I had to wait 20 minutes until I had to specifically go up by myself. Due to the COVID-19 virus, I didn’t want to put myself in danger by going up to the bar. Very disappointed and will NOT be back again! Food was alright though.

Met with friends and enjoyed lovely food as usual and really liked the set up with the new screens and extras. Nice to see the regulars back. Nice flow of air with doors and windows fully open. Take a Jumper or jacket as some tables may be a little draughty which is does say on the information. Well done to the staff team. We will be resuming our regular visits now.

What a transformation. Totally Covid safe, seating spread out, constantly cleaning, staff making sure guidelines are followed. This has always been a great place and the professionalism of the staff during these changing times makes it a place my wife and I will visit regularly. Today we had a carbonara pizza and they are delicious.

We always dine in the Vigilance when we’re in Brixham we love the food, the prices and the local ales. Fantastic value. Was there in September just gone and we are back for Christmas so a visit is imminent.

One of the less expensive places in eat in town. Food was up to the normal no thrills but acceptable standard.Unfortunately there are no longer two meals for a set price although we were previously told that this would not be done away with. None the less the individual meal prices have been kept to value levels. Unfortunately whilst we were there tables were not wiped over although staff had cloths with them to do so.

Great place for cheap eats and drinks. Plenty of tables with very efficient service. Food and drinks incredible value and good £17 for two curries and two drinks. Definitely worth finding.

Came here for a meal one evening and as usual in a Wetherspoons it was really good. We manage to sit at the same place every time we come here, it is a bit tight getting in but we manage. A man next to me said how did you get in it's hard. I laughed and said we always get in. The plates are always hot here which I love, cheers guys.

Staying in Brixham while on holiday we ate here with my wife’s family. We had tasty curries here during curry night. Even though it was busy we didn’t wait to long for our meals. Unfortunately they had run out of Kormas, so one of our party didn’t get the meal she wanted. She doesn’t like hotter curries and her scampi and chips was good also. They had a gin menu and we were trying different gins after we had eaten. An enjoyable evening.

We visited the Vigilance twice in the week of 12th-18th August whilst on holiday. We had food both times and that food was always hot cooked to liking and good portions. This is a Weatherspoons so you get good food and drinks at reasonable prices. The staff are happy and friendly giving you good service. 5*

This is a very well managed - Lynda runs a very team and has many long serving staff working for her all of them are a credit to the company.We have visited many ‘Spoons’ and also stayed in a good number of their hotels but we have found this to be the best!Our only negative comments - which are outside their control - why doesn’t Head Office put More Lamb on the menu, what’s wrong having some prawns on the menu and please bring back some form of Sunday Lunch especially the Lamb oneKeep it up

We always visit this Wetherspoons several times when we’re on Holiday in Brixham and Easter this year was no different. The staff are always very friendly and the service is always quick. They respond well to both counter and app orders. The one time drinks were at our table within 2 minutes of ordering on the app, and it was a busy evening. Enjoyed a couple of nice breakfasts in there again. Hopefully see you in October.

Was very busy when we visited on a Friday evening and just got a seat. Good choice of real ale and it was clean if not the most salubrious pub we've been in. Shame there is no outside seating but that is something that can be levelled at a lot of pubs in Brixham with it being such a historical town. Wouldn't rush back.

This is a Wetherspoons pub and the drinks are a lot cheaper than where we live. The food we have had in there is extremely good value for money.

Provides usual Wetherspoons food and drinks menu. A little cramped with no outside seating. Found locals interesting to talk to while watching the local gulls thieving trippers' ice cream cones!

We stayed in Brixham for a week and frequented this place a fair few times. Never ate here but when it was £4.68 for a pint of Doom Bar and a pint of Thatchers Gold compared to £7.60 in a pub in town then it was a no brainer for drinks.....AND the toilets weren't upstairs! LOL

Clean. Nice friendly staff. Prompt service. A smaller Wetherspoon than normal which makes it a shorter distance to the toilets😄

Sorry but I wasn't impressed the food was very dry and not a lot of flavour, the people were very nice and helpful but I think this is more of a drinking mans pub than a food or family pub.

I like this Pub chain. The food and beer is always good value and service consistent.

Called in here twice with friends. We had the breakfast which was served very quick even though they were very busy with food orders. Excellent breakfast our visitors were very impressed. On our 2nd visit we had pizzas, Again very good and good value with drinks included in the price. Service both times was good and our visitors would be in again when they visit.

In here sun eve / pirate weekend , manager looked knackerd & understaffed, ( i think we arrived a swop shift time 6 pm , ) after we found a table , cleared it of plates & glasses , went to the loo & got wet tissues, wiped the table , the rest of the eve was great , had really good ales, nice food , served hot ( always a bonus 4 spoons ) & was amazed to see they had a quiz nite , well ive been in 30 - 40 spoons & have never seen any form of entertainment ( other than the go likelys .)

Popped in for a quick bite during pirates weekend. Despite being busy the staff and food were lovely.

Visited in the afternoon, place was busy but no problem getting served at the bar. Ordered a meal which arrived quickly, had sausage, chips and baked beans.. which was very tastey and cheap! Washed it down with a couple of bottles of Chinese lager (Tsingtao) Pub located close to main shopping area. Visited again with a friend on a Thursday night.. Curry night, you get a pint of draught beer/lager/cider, in with the price of a curry, great value.

I’ve dined in a few spoons in my time, all over England shall we say. At the end Of the day Spoons is spoons it is what it is... but this spoons seems to be a do what ever the f**k you want kind of spoons. By this I mean I’ve ordered the same Burger the 3 times I’ve been in. it’s come out different every time, it seems like a game of f**king Russian roulette. gourmet chicken burger, butter milk chicken breasts doubled up, extra bacon, extra cheese. We’re not building a space shuttle here just a simple burger. But no... it seems that who Evers in the kitchen Doesn’t know there elbow from there arse and I I've got some mental burgers each time it’s like they just make it up as they go along. With all this burger rant over all in all it’s a very well run spoons lovely bar staff and waiting staff. Great vibes I would recommend a visit! Just be careful when ordering burgers.

Like many other Wetherspoons but you know what you will get. Nice if you can get one of the window seats that overlook the street.

We stopped here for a late lunch/early dinner. The service was quick and the food was lovely. We wouldn't hesitate to visit again, and you can't grumble at the price.

had few drinks here bowl of chips but the bowl of chips was large and come in quick time and hot.tthis place is worth a visit

Hi, we visited this establishment on Friday 15th Feb. As we walked in the tables were dirty but the family was hungry so I got some napkins and cleaned the table. We ordered our food and it was delivered in a reasonable time. My husband had mixed grill which was ok. I had the teriyaki noodles which were over cooked and far too much sauce on them so I didn’t eat them. My daughter had a pizza which was quite nice.

We came here as a family. Two youngsters came in with a plastic bag. They then left it to go outside which was suspicious, we would’ve mentioned it to the staff but they were too busy to notice us. The guys who left the bag seemed pretty agitated, shouting down their phones, kept leaving the pub then coming back in aggressively. Very clear what sort of deal was being organised in the pub, We felt so uncomfortable, so we left. The same guys then caused a massive commotion on the high street, making us very nervous. I would say this was a one off time but they seemed very comfortable in their surroundings. Staff members did notice the bag that was left alone and no one seemed to bother. Seriously concerning, wouldn’t recommend to any families.

4 of us went in for a meal and with drinks came to less the £30.00. The food was really good and lots of it. Look forward to going again.

So me and my family thought we would go for a cheap mid afternoon meal at Wetherspoons which usually you can’t go wrong with.

Always busy and not surprising given incredibly competitive prices and offers. Very nice red wine, Ruggles at just £2 per pint and ham, egg and chips for both of us for £8.50!

Ate breakfast here. Eggs Benedict and traditional English breakfast. Ahhh eggs overcooked unfortanetyly. Coffee GREAT!! English breakfast also good. This is a pub so you get what you get but 12£ for this is amazing coffee 2 breakfasts and a pint. You can refill the coffee you want to.

My favourite place. Hungry? I’m there. Meeting friends. I’m there. Drinking. I’m there. Love this place. Great service. Great food and great drinks. All at a cheap and reasonable price.

Ordered two meals for dinner, when they arrived it was blatantly obvious it was just microwaved 2 minutes before they bought it to us . Tasteless dull .. very poor quality food left most of it and went for a burger down the road .

Breakfast is hit and miss, food is ok but lacks in quality I used to visit a lot for food but have been left disappointed recently. Drink is good plenty of variety with local beers and ciders as well as foreign alcohol. Just your average wetherspoons

Frequently lunch at The Vigilance, where you can generally expect good food and a very friendly, helpful service even if it is in very 'in need of refurbishment' premises.

This was my first time in Bricham busing my family. On the first day we went for breakfast, I had a vegetarian breakfast that was gorgeous. The next day we went for n evening meal. I had pizza and halloumi fires which were both amazing. It was really busy but the food was served so quickly.

Another visit to Brixham and therefore plenty of fries into the Vigilance. On the first day of our visit we popped in for lunch. The first thing that struck us was how clean and well presented everything was. Every table was laid out exactly the same. The staff were their usual efficient and helpful and the food cannot be faulted. On the Sunday night, when we got back to our hotel my wife realised she had lost one of her earring. With huge sentimental value my wife was clearly upset. The next day we popped back on the off chance someone may have found it. To our surprise and enormous relief the bar staff presented us with the earring which the cleaner had found. What fantastic honest staff they have. We can't wait to return in the new year. It's our favourite place.

For a change I had Lamb Rogan Josh. Tasty tender lamb in an aromatic sauce. It was good! This is a buzzy place, no musak, just the sound of all sorts of people having a good time. For dessert I had fresh fruit with ice cream - I've had this before here and it is simple but delicious. I downloaded the app and ordered from the table because it was busy and I didn't want want my table nicked whilst at the bar! That worked great - was on the table v quickly. Full marks to the staff here and probably the clientele: this Wetherspoons is superior to my local one, far away!

My family and I have been to Brixham a couple of times before and we have avoided this place just because it was a "spoons" and we wanted to support the local economy and community. We'll that was a mistake as we felt a little disheartened at some, not all! Of the establishments we visited I know it was October but there was very little atmosphere and we felt the prices to be a little steep! That's when we ventured into the vigilance! Straight away there was a nice feel to the place, plenty of people all chatting away the staff were friendly and polite and the food was truthfully great! Some of the local restaurants would do well to stick their heads in and follow the weatherspoon model as the prices were the great too (feed a family of four with drinks, two pints and two soft drinks for under £35!) we struggle to pay less at lunch for sandwiches and coffee! Well done to the team there!

We visited at the beginning of September and whilst staff were very helpful in clearing tables for us to sit at, the tables were very close together and not easily accessible for a wheel chair user to use. Although the food was nice, (we all had steaks) we had to ask several tables to move aside so that our family member could be pushed to access the disabled toilet at the back of the pub. Yes it was Saturday and yes it was busy, but there are just too many tables squeezed in particularly in the back where the toilets are. The tables hadn’t been moved so people could sit with friends, just too many of them. We needed to access the toilet twice and it was uncomfortable asking people eating to move so a standard wheelchair could be pushed up the aisles.

The Vigilance was quite a busy place when we arrived there in the evening. Some of the furniture looked a bit tired in places and there wasn't a table number on our table. However, the atmosphere at this pub is very friendly and the lady sitting at the table next to us and overhearing our conversation told us the correct number. Although it was quite busy, our food arrived swiftly. The portion size was good and at Weatherspoons you get guaranteed that food will always be food - no frills and trills, but just good hearty food. The chips were crispy and not greasy at all.

We ordered our food and drinks by the WS app which was very easy to use and the service was very good and fast, we had the burgers and they were lovely good all round

My girlfriend and I were on holiday for a week and we mostly eat out in Local Restaurants while away, but that gets expensive, so we normally do at least one night in a Spoons.

This Wetherspoons was really busy on the two occasions we came here. There was the usual overworked/lack of staff and strangely a lack of salt/pepper pots - we had to go off searching for them - must have only been about 5 in the whole establishment. Still the food was OK - they had gluten free options and some good real ales and ciders too.

We have lived in Dartmouth for over 2 years now and sad to say this is the first time we have visited. Just a drink today as we got if the bus early and found ourselves walking past.

this used to be a good venue - but now it sadly lacks- meals on offer anything thats fried or microwaved. Drinks served from machine. Not going back

A busy Wetherspoons establishment with all the usual offers, we were left a little disappointed by the Gin festival that they were promoting running out of our preferred choice and the tables not being cleared, but hey it is what it is.

visited a couple of times during our holiday we always found somewhere to sit even though it was always busy,food is lovely and service is great,we had kids with us and found it a lovely relaxed atmosphere,I must say the people in brixham and Devon itself are very friendly and welcoming,I would definitely recommend this place if you visit Brixham.

If your looking for a good cheap family lunch you can’t go wrong with a Wetherspoon pub Plenty of seating Massive choice of menu something for everyone

The vigilance is probably one of the better Wetherspoons pubs. Although the lighting is a little 'Ambient' it is a good pub serving good food. As per most 'Wetherspoons' there is a very good selection of drinks. We have eaten there on a number of occations when visiting Brixham, and we have not been dissapointed with either the food or the service.

Visited here during a family holiday and wished i hadn't.
