Delicious food and amazing service at the Harvester Torquay. Jo and the rest of the staff were extremely attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The menu had good choices and the portion sizes where very good.Will definitely go back and do not hesitate to recommend.

An absolutely divine dining experience at The Harvester Torquay. Great food and great service by the most lovely smiling waitress Kasia. I'm definitely going to recommend to friends and family.

Waited nearly 45 minutes, and when the food came, it was nearly all cold. Some food was undercooked, some was overcooked , and dessert was not much better with some elements missing. But the waitress was helpful and got a reduced bill.

Our waitress Jo was super busy she made a.ooint of advising us she was very busy and be with as soon as possible which I very much value. We waited approx 15mins. This was no problem for us, we had no plans just came.out rather than cook. Jo was attentive and polite when we did interact. Her service was excellent. Salad bar was spotless. The bread rolls were a tad stale but again, no issue. We had half roast chicken meal each which was very nice, simple ingredients. Price was cheap. Jo reminded us to check the app for any discounts too. So helpful. My daughter though the managers style was super fun and quirky, beautiful colourful hair and amazing tattoos, I had to agree. My daughter and I had a lovely meal. The staff are fabulous. Great local harvester. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely meal out there with a friend the other day. We were served by Jamie who was very polite and friendly, he went out of his way to help us get the best offer on our Harvester App. Looking forward to going again.

I ordered the combo when it came it was the wrong order but within minutes after saying the correct meal came only to find the ribs cold I asked the waitress about it and she took it and it came back hotter the jacket was very small and dry not like the meal we had in there a few days earlier which was perfect the waitress asked was everything OK and we said no my wifes meal was lovely but mine was not she spoke to manager who approached us and we were told that as I had eaten some of my meal that it didn't seem that it was unedible she said that I had been asked was all OK and that I'd said yes but I had only said yes to the ribs that had been reheated we were given a discount of £4.99 not sure how that was worked out and the waitress advised us to download the app to receive a 25% Discount very poor but waitress very good

Jo served us and recommended the app. We all had Mixed Grills, super stuffed by the end. It was a big portion :)

I've been to the harvester many times and am always impressed with how professional and friendly the servers are. Most recently served by Jamie who was fantastic. Great food and atmosphere and always have an enjoyable time.

Excellent Chicken meal today, served by Rich who made our day with his pleasant manner and service. Really enjoyed the self service salad that was fresh and appetising. Will be back!

Literally the worst dining experience I've had in years. Terrible food, terrible service Did as they said in the reply, phoned the restaurant and they did absolutely nothing about the horrific experience and terrible food. Avoid. Don't bother. Don't waste your money, and note the replies are fake!

Me and my friend came for food this evening as it was 50% off and right off of the bat our server Jo, couldn’t be of more help so attentive and kind. On top of that the food was so lovely. Would definitely come again, for her lovely service.

They had been having a very difficult shift with one server and one chef down but our server Rich couldn’t have done better. He was friendly, attentive and polite. Well done to Rich!

My food was over cooked my partner's was the same and dry, the toilets was disgusting not a happy customer and the salad bar was awful.

Visited for breakfast with friends and can't rate this place highly enough! Firstly, the staff were all friendly and helpful, special mention to Jordan. He provided an exceptional customer experience and Harvester are lucky to have you working there. The food was excellent, generous portions and very reasonably priced. I'd also like to say how nice it was to find a place that is dog friendly, especially this time of year when it's freezing outside. It was fantastic to be able to take our dogs inside the warm while we had our breakfast. Thank you for making that possible. We will definitely return, the lunchtime menu deals looks great. We will try that next time!

Pleasant staff. Had to send the Ribs back though as they had pieces of thin plastic on them. Was refunded. Chap serving at Bar called everyone "Mate". Would rather have been addressed as Sir. Not being pretentious but think "Mate" is not particularly professional. Screaming kids and no challenge from staff asking parents to be "parents".

The food is very nice, steaks are definitely worth their money. But our biggest credit goes to Michael who has been our waiter several times and is an absolute credit to this venue. Always happy, polite, helpful and a real pleasure to have look after you

Everything was perfect! I'd put a note asking for a booth because we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. They gave us exactly the table we wanted and decorated it for her! What stars!! We all had either breakfast or brunch. It all came out fresh and hot (so a vast improvement on another local Harvester we visited!) My mum had steak on her breakfast which was cooked perfectly and they remembered to leave off the black pudding! Perfection! Stefan our server was amazing!

The service from all the staff was attentive and friendly. Carol was great, being both friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and good value (though I did use a discount voucher). The setting, atmosphere and environment were all great. I’d definitely visit again.

Come for a weekend away, went into harvester. Such a lovely waitress called Jo who accommodated us, made sure everything was fine. Food was delicious, partner had a steak and I had pasta filled shells - really recommend.

Walked in, told a half hour wait for a table. Ok, happy with that. Got seated , then approached by witness who said hurry up and order as there is a backlog, then she came back over, no steak, no chicken no ribs, no hallilomi. So ordered gammon a 2 burgers, salad cart was dirty, family in front using their hands to put food on the plate, sat back down to over 1 hours wait, got up and left. What a shit show

Called in for a late lunch. It was quite quiet but still had atmosphere. Friendly staff and Jo looked after us very well. Every time I call in to this Harvester I feel the staff are very well trained. Food is a reasonable price and always tasty.

The food was terrible my sister had 2 hairs on he.r food my other sister ordered bbq spare ribs which came dry and no sauce when she asked for some she was told to put the cold sauce on from the table !! What is that all about. My meal came with dry chicken and cold satay sauce. When we complained we were told my sister meal with the hairs would be free and they wouldn’t charge for the ribs. But when we went to pay we were told we were only getting the ribs taken off the and a £3 discount for the “hairy” meal. I didn’t even say about my meal as the woman taking the payment was very rude and has no customer service skills. We were not the only ones who complained while we were there.

I think this was my first time at a Harvester this restaurant is right in the harbour in Torquay so great location. We decided last minute to book a table as we were on holiday for Christmas. The restaurant was really busy and the service was incredible as well as the food. A big shout out to everyone that worked Christmas Eve you were all amazing. We went for the festive meme and the food was delicious

Arrived at 8:15. Asked to be seated to order food. Told unless we had a reservation then they would not accept walk-ins. Place was very quiet. When I enquired why they were not accepting walk-ins, she stammered and said they were closing the kitchen early because engineers had to work on something. Bad excuse as reservations would still be catered for? If they could honour a reservation at that time there would be zero reason to turn away walk-ins as it's the SAME KITCHEN BEING USED. Obviously staff just wanted to finish early and go home. Will not bother ever going there again. Becky needs to think through her replies before she responds in future.

Worst prawn cocktail I have ever seen or tasted . How can it be so bad if there meant to be chef's. I'm no in that trade but I could of done a lot better.

Standing and waiting for an employee at the reservation point during lunchtime. There were few employees, only 2-3 people at that time. The male employee told me to find a seat anywhere. We agreed to sit next to the window at the end of the shop. Another male employee walked up and asked if they couldn't sit here. This is only for drinking. We moved as this employee pointed out. Sitting and waiting for almost 20 minutes, there was no menu to show. until having to request a menu Another employee walked up and said she had to go order at the counter herself. And you can't sit here. I'm up to something. So I answered: Her employee told me to come sit here. And then I came for the first time. The employees should tell each other a little. Ordered steak medium rare. But it's almost cooked. Finally, I sat and waited for 40 minutes for the kids' set's free ice cream and it was never served. But other foreigners came to sit and serve as usual. Let me tell you, the first time, the only time, and the last time, the food was so-so and the restaurant was just beautiful.

Carol was an amazing server. She was knowledgable about allergy’s. She was very festive, always smiling and was keeping multiple tables happy. Had a fantastic personality. The food came out in a timely fashion and no one can fault the unlimited salad!

Our server Michael was fantastic. Food was delicious and perfect. Drinks were fab as well. We’ve been coming here once a year for the past 8/9 years and every-time we are met with the upmost respect and perfect hospitality. If I could give 10 stars I would!
