Was served by stefan , me and wife came for lunch . Really good food . Friendly service , highly recommended. The server took time to have chat with us great customer service .

Often visit my experience today by far the best yet. Jo was exceptional in every way. A warm and genuine greeting. It was a pleasure to be served by Jo this lunchtime. Excellent value for money exceptional food and service. We look forward to returning soon.

Popped in Saturday 11th and want to give a shout out to Charlie who was serving behind the bar. He welcomed us with a smile and a bit of chatter, salad was lovely too 😋 He made it a lovely visit for us

Everything was perfect! I'd put a note asking for a booth because we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. They gave us exactly the table we wanted and decorated it for her! What stars!! We all had either breakfast or brunch. It all came out fresh and hot (so a vast improvement on another local Harvester we visited!) My mum had steak on her breakfast which was cooked perfectly and they remembered to leave off the black pudding! Perfection! Stefan our server was amazing!

Our server Jo was really lovely and welcoming to me and my sister who came to the harvester for lunch. Our food was nice, I had the bbq chicken stack, the chicken was a little dry but overall it was nice. Would come back again.

Come for a weekend away, went into harvester. Such a lovely waitress called Jo who accommodated us, made sure everything was fine. Food was delicious, partner had a steak and I had pasta filled shells - really recommend.

Kasia was a great host, food was enjoyable, can't go wrong with free salad bar, Kasia sorted our requests out perfectly & even my partner got a takeaway brownie so she's happy

Walked in, told a half hour wait for a table. Ok, happy with that. Got seated , then approached by witness who said hurry up and order as there is a backlog, then she came back over, no steak, no chicken no ribs, no hallilomi. So ordered gammon a 2 burgers, salad cart was dirty, family in front using their hands to put food on the plate, sat back down to over 1 hours wait, got up and left. What a shit show

Called in for a late lunch. It was quite quiet but still had atmosphere. Friendly staff and Jo looked after us very well. Every time I call in to this Harvester I feel the staff are very well trained. Food is a reasonable price and always tasty.

The food was terrible my sister had 2 hairs on he.r food my other sister ordered bbq spare ribs which came dry and no sauce when she asked for some she was told to put the cold sauce on from the table !! What is that all about. My meal came with dry chicken and cold satay sauce. When we complained we were told my sister meal with the hairs would be free and they wouldn’t charge for the ribs. But when we went to pay we were told we were only getting the ribs taken off the and a £3 discount for the “hairy” meal. I didn’t even say about my meal as the woman taking the payment was very rude and has no customer service skills. We were not the only ones who complained while we were there.

Arrived at 8:15. Asked to be seated to order food. Told unless we had a reservation then they would not accept walk-ins. Place was very quiet. When I enquired why they were not accepting walk-ins, she stammered and said they were closing the kitchen early because engineers had to work on something. Bad excuse as reservations would still be catered for? If they could honour a reservation at that time there would be zero reason to turn away walk-ins as it's the SAME KITCHEN BEING USED. Obviously staff just wanted to finish early and go home. Will not bother ever going there again. Becky needs to think through her replies before she responds in future.

I think this was my first time at a Harvester this restaurant is right in the harbour in Torquay so great location. We decided last minute to book a table as we were on holiday for Christmas. The restaurant was really busy and the service was incredible as well as the food. A big shout out to everyone that worked Christmas Eve you were all amazing. We went for the festive meme and the food was delicious

Was in the area for a Christmas holiday and booked Christmas lunch here, really impressed! Great service and great lunch. Would recommend for Christmas. Thanks all!

Standing and waiting for an employee at the reservation point during lunchtime. There were few employees, only 2-3 people at that time. The male employee told me to find a seat anywhere. We agreed to sit next to the window at the end of the shop. Another male employee walked up and asked if they couldn't sit here. This is only for drinking. We moved as this employee pointed out. Sitting and waiting for almost 20 minutes, there was no menu to show. until having to request a menu Another employee walked up and said she had to go order at the counter herself. And you can't sit here. I'm up to something. So I answered: Her employee told me to come sit here. And then I came for the first time. The employees should tell each other a little. Ordered steak medium rare. But it's almost cooked. Finally, I sat and waited for 40 minutes for the kids' set's free ice cream and it was never served. But other foreigners came to sit and serve as usual. Let me tell you, the first time, the only time, and the last time, the food was so-so and the restaurant was just beautiful.

Our server Michael was fantastic. Food was delicious and perfect. Drinks were fab as well. We’ve been coming here once a year for the past 8/9 years and every-time we are met with the upmost respect and perfect hospitality. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Booked a table and seated straight away. Our waiter was Rich who looked after us very well. We had 2 course Christmas dinner, couldn't manage 3 courses as good sized portions, and although there was some fat on turkey it was extremely tasty and hot. Would recommend.

I attended a family meal on Saturday (30-11) and enjoyed a lovely service. Young boy called Kane was very efficient bringing our drinks to us and helpful when we asked about the salad bar. Food was better than I expected.

We booked in last minute for dinner for the 3 of us and was served by Jo on Sunday 1st December and she was fantastic. She was very helpful, efficient and kind. Everywhere needs a waitress like Jo!

Fish is disgusting, portion size is absolutely pathetic especially for the children's menu , I had to give my child my food , waited 45mis for food that was disgusting

Was in for a meal service was really good was served by a young lad called Joseph he was really helpful and very polite. Also Charlie behide the bar was very polite and happy.

Myself and family was In the harvester over the weekend. We all commented on how friendly the staff were. Especially the young man who was managing the salad bar. I believe his name was joeseph. He was kind enough to ask if we had any allergies which I thought was so thoughtful. We even had charlie serve us at the bar. He was a well presented bar tender. Very professional. We visit regularly to this eatery . It really is so nice .. Well done everyone . Keep up the good work.

Hot tasty food and service with a smile, okay it was a midweek evening, so not that busy, but would happily go again.

Went for my birthday meal here and wish I didn’t the salad bar was left empty for over an hour staff just walking past not caring it wasn’t replenished and by the time we got our meal it still wasn’t done and I like having the salad before food comes we ordered the mixed grill and it was awful dry cold chips,dry burnt chicken and sausage undercooked onion rings the only thing lukewarm was the rump steak couldn’t ask for a manager as server was rushed off her feet and we just wanted to go home as birthday was just ruined after having a nice day this was disappointing end to it have complained online just got told there only human and make mistakes I understand that but we pay for a service/food and this should be delivered have booked over Christmas twice and might book somewere else

Disappointing visit today. We ordered from the festive menu. I had prawn cocktail starter which was tasty and apple pie for pudding but the steak mains was leathery and overcooked and the chips seriously over salted. The serving staff were excellent and were busy fielding complaints from unhappy customers. Ultimately the problems here are in the kitchen.
