Came here after looking online at places to eat at lunchtime around the Mark area as that's where we were staying. Not all pubs offer a lunchtime menu at this time of year (April). Beautiful food. All really hot, fresh and mostly homemade. Reasonably priced. Would recommend.

Visited on a Monday evening when the pub kitchen was closed. There is a Pizza van serving locals by the pub's invitation on Monday and Tuesday evenings. These are run into the pub once ordered if you are drinking in the pub. There is a small range of pizzas available from the basic Margherita upto the Djuna (spicy pork sausage). I had this and it was nice and spicy with tender broccoli as an additional topping. I would say it was well priced at £12 - £14 for a 10" pizza. Takeaway prices for a pub meal. The pub was well lit and busy for a Monday night, i was there at 7:30pm and most of the tables occupied, but by 9pm the place had emptied. Three cask beers were on offer on arrival, shortly all but one had been exhausted, not including their keg offerings. Well priced beer for the area and local too, Hook Norton ales. The Landlord was welcoming and cheerful, and had been very busy at the weekend he told me, hence the beers finishing.

We stayed in one of the rooms the three tuns are offering. It was a great two nights Ina cozy and Clean room We had our dinners in the Pub as well. They served really tasty, Well prepared and presented food. High above our expectations for a Village Pub. The Staff was polite, calm and so friendly. The Patrons where a Mix of locals from the Village AS Well as externals coming from all around to visit this Pub. We liked it very much, a pitty we have a about 12 hours to get there

In the area for one night and stumbled across this absolute gem, walked into a welcoming atmosphere and greeted kindly by the lovely local people who were enjoying the end of a fabulous live music performance, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Although we were late to arrive, they were still serving food , we ordered the Sunday roast that was quite possibly the best pub food I’ve had for years. Pubs like this are far and few between so 100% recommended as I’m sure we will be back to keep this beautiful place alive.
