Asked for a slice of duck pizza, there wasn't much duck, and the bits I did get were mainly just the fat. Disappointing.
Charging per slice is a clever marketing technique.
Lovely place with vegan or vegetarian food.
Lunches, soups, salads, great cakes. Light welcoming spsce and gorgeous garden.
A selection of teas and coffees various milks and organic wines and beers.
Very well worth a visir and if you are staying longer there are lovely letting rooms. The Seed shop next door is a great emporium full of clothes, jewellery, books and all manner of lovely things to tempt you.
We are regulars at Starcross and occasionally Teignmouth. Probably twice or three times a week. Megan ' Meggies' is an asset to the Teign Bean chain. Always friendly and chatting away. Prices are very reasonable, and the lattes are excellent. We like ours extra hot, as we take them to Powderham Castle to drink.
We don't generally buy hot food, just the occasional packet of wafer biscuits.
Starcross doesn't always have hot sausage rolls available, Teignmouth has the better choice.

Jas was great! Communication was excellent, and pricing was astonishing for the terrific effort. I live overseas and was able to purchase a cake, a card, and balloons for my boyfriend's birthday! Boyfriend said the cake looks and tastes beautiful. Bless you Jas, you are wonderful, and I can't wait to buy more from you in person.
What a wonderful surprise arrived for my birthday, Afternoon Tea and a mixed salads, meats and cheese selection. Utterly delicious! Highly recommended and sure to order again!
Visited La Bouche at the Fort (Fort Stamford health and fitness) today for their Christmas afternoon tea. There were mini quiches, sausage roll, sausage square, pig in blanket, and filo pastry cheese parcel, all served warm with a dipping gravy. Turkey, Brie and cranberry sandwiches, orange and mixed spice scones with jam and clotted cream, meringues with lemon, chocolate tarts and mince pies. Hopefully I haven’t forgotten anything! Oh yes a hot drink too!, There wasn’t one item I didn’t enjoy - everything tasty and yummy. All served by brilliant staff, clean and welcoming. Well done to Louis and Amy for the best I’ve ever had
Great find - we found this cafe after going to Haynes motor museum. Really good food and lovely atmosphere! The staff were so welcoming and really great with our kids!
Fantastic food served and cooked by really nice, friendly people. Don't let the fact that it's on an Industrial estate put you off, or you'll be missing out. Transport type cafe with everything cooked freshly, but you don't have to wait too long for your hot, delicious food. In or out, your food will be brought to you by very friendly ladies who are always smiling!! Prices are very, very competitive and, in my opinion, the best value for money in the town. Next time we're up from Hayle, we'll be visiting again, and again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
