Found everything a bit too fussy. Just wanted a simple lunch, and thought that all cafes would serve simple dishes. My children werent impressed.

Just not really sure that this place knows what it is. Just got a strange vibe and the saying Jack of all trades, master of none sprung to mind. I just didnt get it!

Was just walking down the road to the shop for some snacks and I stumbled across this new cafe so I went in for a nosey and was greeted by some really friendly and welcoming staff. He talked us through what they had on offer and on this occasion we took a pasty and some sausage rolls away but we will definitely be back to try out the breakfast menu and sit in next time I am down in Plymouth. If your local or in the area you should definitely give this little place a try There was a good variety of homemade cakes too! I would describe this place as bakery / cafe with plenty of selection. I can’t wait to come again

We've been walking the South West Coast path over the last 2 years and this was the most delicious food we've had and excellent value. This place is worth a detour and is a must if you are walking the coastal path through Plymouth to/from Mount Batten Neen's breakfast is amazing!

Been meaning to leave a review for ages. We’ve never been disappointed when we’ve visited these guys, amazing flavours every time! Can recommend the homemade pies, delicious French toast and ‘neens’ favourite (tarragon infused mushrooms and avocado on sourdough). The cakes are next level - we’ve recently discovered the lemon slice which is a taste sensation…and gluten free too. Keep up the awesome work guys 🙏and thank you for filling our bellies with all the tasty goodness 😋

I have been meaning to write this for several weeks and feel even more compelled to complete this now that I have visited several more times. Firstly, the food: simply delicious. Everything I have tried is absolutely tip top! From the breakfasts...eggs Benedict today to the marvelous cakes to the super sandwiches....Turkey feast on Wednesday! I have taken family and friends and they all agree its wonderful. To top this off, Lewis and Neen, the owners and bakery artists are such a great friendly couple. Its a real delight visiting LaBouch.

So lucky to have the fabulous LaBouche a few minutes walk from my front door. From take away sandwich to breakfast bap to chorizo quiche. Everything I have eaten here is a flavour sensation. And that's before you get to the cakes.

We popped in for the first time on Friday 8th October to buy some cakes as it was my birthday. The cakes were amazing and I would have no hesitation in ordering a birthday/celebration cake in future from Labouche. We even returned for lunch and had the Fiver Fest meals - vegetable curry with rice and chicken, leek and bacon pie with mashed potato and red wine gravy. All main meals were delicious and such good value for money. Will definitely return very soon.

I've been visiting Labouche every single Sunday for breakfast and I can't get enough. The service is impeccable with Louie being extremely friendly but professional. The food is brilliant, and most importantly, consistent. We've never had bad food at Labouche and always end up buying some stuff from the bakery! The cakes are amazing and I definitely recommend! Also, the value for money is second to none. I was astounded by the prices as you aren't getting any cheaper in Plymouth.

Interesting that there’s been a lot of interest since The Vault closed and the lease was up for grabs. A lively CBD cafe business called ‘Buddha Hut’, which started a year or so ago in Union Street then moved to lower Cornwall Street has now announced they are expanding again and have acquired the Mutley lease and will open at the beginning of November with a cafe selling lots of CBD coffee and food etc on the ground floor with the large basement given over to other CBD products.

Three of us came in for informal supper. Booked but not necessary, maybe half full. Deal of £25 for two portions of fish and ships, geared towards couples but we have to pay about £17 for a third. The girls serving seemed to be getting edgy towards the end maybe because there seemed to be a group of their friends towards end of evening.

Have purchased from here several times - both the cake slices and celebration cakes. Most of the time the cakes are great - light and fluffy, but have been two occasions where the cake was too sweet and did not taste very fresh (seems more of an exception), but will still be purchasing nonetheless.

The Chancel has been one of our favourite places to eat in Plymouth for many years. During Covid and a bit longer they’ve been delivering or preparing for collection. Without much thought or any foreknowledge we walked down this evening hoping it might up and running for their traditional bistro food and good wines. Very disappointed therefore to find it dark, empty and will a To Let sign. No hint that there might still be an online service. Pity and we’re sad. Many dozens of happy memories.

Instalaciones limitadas pero justo en el corazón de todas esas bicicletas encantadoras. Siéntate adentro o afuera bajo techo. . Gran café también.
