Teign Bean Coffee @ Starcross in Teignbridge

Great coffee, reasonable prices and lovely staff. Lots of yummy cakes to choose from and they look homemade. What a great set up.

Teign Bean make the most delicious coffees, the flat whites we had today could not be improved upon. Sadly my Vegan roll was about as bland as it gets, tasteless and dry, ended up throwing over a third away. My wife said the pastry of her Steak Pasty was , dry and flavourless with a thick crimped edge which was inedible. The vegetable filling element was okay, unfortunately just one large piece of beef rather than a number of pieces spread throughout. Would recommend the hot drinks but don't bother with the poor savoury pastry items.

Teignmouth cafe is incredibly slow. It took them half an hour to make our coffees! Great coffee actually, but I’m not prepared to wait that long. Too many tables for too small a facility I guess. Staff vary from lovely to rude. Pot luck.

Excellent , fairly priced coffee & fantastic location right on the seafront by the beach & seawall walk to Dawlish. Good selection of both undercover & outdoor seating. Second visit & more to come .

Great friendly service at Starcross, Teignmouth and Dawlish Warren. Lovely bacon baps made by Jack too and great coffee.

Really like this spot for coffee to break a walk. The coffee is great and the staff are friendly too. there's even a biscuit for the dog, thank you.

We stopped on our little cycle trip with the kids and the staff was really friendly, we had some proper barista coffee and yummy cake, just what we needed to keep us going!

We went to the Teignmouth branch located at the North end of the beach where I had a very nice cortado and a delicious meat pasty. There is plenty of seating for a small kiosk.

We came across this lovely beachside cafe in Teignmouth at the end of a long day of hiking the Southwest Coast Path. Perfect location by the east end of the sea wall. Saw they had ice cream as well as coffee and couldn't decide between getting an iced coffee and an ice cream, so thought why not go for both! I asked if they could make me an Affogato (a shot of espresso poured over a scoop of ice cream). They cheerfully did so, even though it isn't on the menu....yet!! I'm sure it will be soon though 😋 It was a tough battle, but honeycomb won out (over vanilla and white chocolate) for the ice cream flavor. Delicious!

Teign bean is my happy place a lovely coffee and a chat just what I need sometimes, staff are all lovely and also smiling, keep up the good work teign bean family your all doing a great job.

All the staff are so so lovely and kind. The nicest place to get coffee and cake without a doubt, could not recommend anymore :))

Love Teign Bean! Whenever we're visiting the area we always make a point of visiting both their Mamhead and Starcross locations. Coffee is great and the service is wonderful.

This coffee stop has been a god send through Covid when we where allowed our daily exercise picking up a coffee made it feel a little sort of normality, the coffee is great the cakes are naughty but nice and the staff are all so friendly and caring and make it a happy place to visit no matter how you are feeling they always make me feel happy. Carry on the good work.

Love teignbean, I go there several times a week. The coffee is by far the best around, and the staff are so friendly. It was lovely to have some sort of normality during the lockdown, and see friendly and welcoming faces. Thank you Teignbean for making Starcross a lovely place. ❤️❤️❤️
