Lovely place with vegan or vegetarian food. Lunches, soups, salads, great cakes. Light welcoming spsce and gorgeous garden. A selection of teas and coffees various milks and organic wines and beers. Very well worth a visir and if you are staying longer there are lovely letting rooms. The Seed shop next door is a great emporium full of clothes, jewellery, books and all manner of lovely things to tempt you.

I enjoyed a gorgeous vegan moussaka and oat latte, beautifully decorated restaurant full of comfortable, sumptuous cushions an altar and lovely garden. The shop is full of interesting clothing and books and items which are made by women in war zones. What an oasis and the workshop space and bedrooms will make a perfect location to host a spiritual business retreat I’m planning. This place is truly a gem and somewhere I’ll be stopping every time down this way and recommending to friends and clients.

Stopped in here for lunch on a Saturday and was blown away by the delicious sweet potato cakes and wholegrain salad I ordered. Excellent pairing of flavours. And followed by a guilt free chocolate desert. At least once a month (usually 3rd Sat) there are events and treatments on and Lynne is often about herself as is Noodle the dog. And. Shop next door, curated by Lynne, is ace for original gifts.

Having needed to retreat from London for the weekend to recharge, I have to say that Lynne Franks Hub and Seed Cafe was even better than I could have wished for. Location is a hidden gem, Wincanton (close to Glastonbury) is so lovely! lotsa shops, friendly locals etc , you can see she and her team have taken very careful thought in every aspect of the experience. The cafe serves delicious healthy food, even lots of vegan food to choose from , loved the Raman soup ! In the evening there’s a brilliant program of events and workshops, which is cool, I happened to stay the weekend Mel Rodrigues did a talk with Lynne, and I met so many great people. Gift shop is truly unique- filled with all kinds of treasures obviously curated lovingly by Lynne- lots of work from locals there but also from unique suppliers around the world. The boutique rooms at the hub are my fav- the linens are not only gorgeous but are made from a special project helping women in India, the thoughtful touches in the room like the energised water jugs, the selection of books by the bed- even the loo roll is ethical! I genuinely have no complaints- clean, holistic and really cool. Definitely will be back.

My boyfriend brought me here, for the first time, as a Valentine's surprise. The minute I walked through the door, I fell in love with the place. I loved the decor, the ambience and the feel of the place. We were offered a glass of organic, vegan Italian Proscecco the moment we arrived. Probably part of the Valentine's experience. I don't imagine this is an everyday occurrance. We sat in the window seat and admired the embroidered cushions, fairy lights, tastefully decorated walls and pilars. The venue was light and airy with lovely music, at just the right volume, playing out of the speakers. Our starter of Tamari beetroot on a bed of wild greens and black sesame was so full of flavour that we both absorbed ourselves in it and forgot to talk to each other. Then we were treated to an amazing, soulful, uplifting accoustic session from their in-house musican. It couldn't have been better. The main course of Bangladeshi sautéed fresh green beans, sweet potato cakes with spiced cauliflower and Tahini dressing was an explosion of flavours. Some of the food hot and some cold (like a salad), a little bit of spicy, crunchy, smooth... I can't express how wonderful this meal was. As a vegan I'm usually eperieinceing bland or far too spicy. However, this was one of the best meals I have tasted. Starter and main alike. Then the dessert. An indulgent rich chocolate mouse with a plaline crisp, salted caramel sauce and a raw chocolate heart. Altogether, the food, the ambience, the music and the lovely friendly people (we virtually got to know the owner and staff) made this my most special, ever, Valentine's treat. I will definitely be returning. ps I'm afraid my phone pics of this visit really do not do justice to the venue or the food. It looked and tasted so much better than my phone pics.

It was such a joy to visit Lynne and team at The Seed Cafe. Everyone is so welcoming and the setting is magical and inspiring. You can tell a lot of care and vision has gone into this amazing place! What fantastic vegan food, I had a delicious ratatouille with courgettes, aubergines and tomatoes with wild rice, roasted delicious kale and herbs.. fantastic and satisfying! Plus a wondrous steamed oat milk creamy drink. Plus a top breakfast! Not only do you feel so at home, comfy and at peace, it is also a truly inspirational place to meet like minded people. We had a stunning bedroom with an antique fireplace, a wonderful alpaca bed and beautiful Indian throw. Magazines to read, quiet, rest, fun when you need it... a truly nourishing experience. It was a complete retreat from everyday and life. We feel invigorated to head back into London today.

Love everything about this place and how they repeatedly manage to make incredibly healthy food seem like a treat. Have been for lunch and for supper - the latter had fantastic live music and a Indian Thali selection of small dishes on a traditional platter.

Appalling food very disappointingly - 2 meals were cold - or had part of them cold! Sauté potatoes were promised but instead a tiny lump of cold mash came. I think they must have been microwaved badly. Generally the 3 meals were tiny portions served as haute cuisine but without the taste - or presentation - with an overuse of pepper and salt in one. We weren’t asked if the meals were ok so didn’t have the chance to feedback - or desire to go out of our way to do do and ruin a family day out :( Sadly won’t return.

If I lived near the seed cafe, this would be my regular eatery. The food is fresh, tasty and healthy- food for the soul! I had an amazing wild garlic soup and homemade bread-perfect for a drizzly day. All the staff were super friendly and kind and there is a brilliant little shop attached with the most beautiful array of clothing and gifts. I will make the trip back to Wincanton just to go here

Just what I need after walking 50 miles for charity, the Seed Cafe was where I stopped for a quick lunch and was made very welcome by the owner and staff, particularly with all the events going on in the town. My thanks to all of you who made me so welcome. The cafe has a lovely atmosphere right in the heart of the town. Would definitely go back next time I find myself in Wincanton!
