Hands down the best sandwiches and rolls in the area!

Literally went 6 years after moving without having one of these. Come back and it hasn't changed. Still massive, still way better than any subway or sandwich shop I've been too.

I have been a customer for about 25 years and in that time I have only had 1 problem which was dealt with immediately. Food is always amazing. I just wish they would bring back the Philly cream cheese and chive filling, it was the best.

This little sandwich shop puts subway to shame!! Everything from the bread, to the fillings to the salad tastes so tasty and fresh. The sandwiches are PILED high with filling and salad. Ive been here a dozen times and never had a bad sandwich. Amazing food

Service is always fast (As can be during a busy lunch rush) and the staff are always friendly. The sandwiches are always filled incredibly well and I've never had a bad meal from Earl's. Would highly recommend to anyone who happens to be nearby.

I've never had a bad torpedo roll from here ever, and I've been buying from here for maybe 25 years, not actually sure how long it has been running but I'm 45 now and we used to buy lunch from here when I was doing my first jobs. Chicken and bacon on white torpedo with all the salad and salt and pepper and I'm sorted :-)

Birthed from one of Zeus's sandwich crusts. Made by angels, truly the food of god's. If you haven't had an earls sandwich. You have but a mere mortal understanding of lunches.

Cracking sandwiches so delicious

Have walked pass this shop for a while and it's always busy. So we when in and ordered chicken and ham sandwiches which were very nice and filling . Also had caramel shortbread which was very nice and well priced . Would definitely recommend and use again. The staff were very pleasant friendly.

The torpedo is definitely the best reward you can get after a good session in the gym. #nutrition We love this local business brilliantly run by Ian.

Huge, delicious torpedo rolls generously filled with delicious, fresh ingredients. I was absolutely stuffed after eating my roll (had to wait a few hours before I enjoyed my mint Australian crunch!) 😋

Super soft bread, yummy bacon, super sausages and lots of eggs for good measure! A proper handful of food and really tasty. Get yourself one and do your stomach a favour!

By far the best Sandwich bar we've bought from, my partner and I had the torpedoes with 2 different fillings, there huge and great value for money, so much choice and very tasty will definitely be back and thoroughly recommend

With out a doubt the best option in Yeovil for a sandwich shop. Tucked away down the bottom of silver street it is a real hidden gem. It may be a tad more expensive than the other options but it is still a real bargain for it's portion size and quality

Great selection of sub rolls, had the chinese chicken. Only gripe was that we had to wait a while to get served.

Popped into to get my lunch salad box.. excellent food and produce, cannot fault. I waited in the queue.. when the rest of the customers emptied the shop I was left standing for a few minutes without any acknowledgment by the ladies behind the counter. Not one of them raised there head to say.. 'we will just be a moment'.. I was left standing there like a complete numpty, 2 young ladies came in and stood by my side waiting to be served, one of the ladies behind the counter raised her head and said.. who's next !!! . I think brushing up on customer service skills would be a good idea.

Whenever we visit Yeovil we always get a Earls sandwich!! Sandwiches are to die for and also very reasonably priced! Keep it up Earls !

Felt the need to review this place again as I feel the place should be higher up in the TA chart. I have eaten here multiple times. The bread and salad is always fresh and the fillings are amazing. I do tend to stick to the same filling of Mexican Chilli Chicken as I love it. When I have tried other fillings they have all been delicious. The rolls are excellent value. If in Yeovil shopping this is a must have treat, plus they are excellent value. Win Win Situ :-)

This place is run by a very friendly work staff, sandwiches are huge and lots of choices of fillings , they offer jacket potatoes and wraps so what ever your pallet craves they sure to be able to satisfy, if your not sure of fillings can try and maybe find something new for you roll, they offer granary rolls and white rolls and baps, wrap etc all salad included and they even do a salad bowl highly recommend

Well this wasn't my first visit to Earl Sandwich but I don't go often, simply because I prefer the fillings and bread of another sandwich shop in town but mostly because every time I go here i find the staff to be very abrupt and rude, I'm not the only one to say this either

Earls sandwich is the best thing about being in Yeovil such quality especially compared to other sandwich places. It's quite simply keep it fresh, plentiful and don't overcharge.

we regularly order for our team lunches and the variety of sandwiches are good and to everyone's taste. they are filling and are more than adequate for lunch, always fresh with good quality.

Since my last review in March I have been various times and the availability has been good. These Rolls are excellent value for money and are delicious. My personal favourite is the Hot Mexican Chilli Chicken. Give these rolls a try, you will not be disappointed!

I have purchased sandwiches from Earls many times. The food always tastes fresh and it is great value for money. Couldn't recommend more.

Can never go wrong with a ham salad roll! They have such a choice of fillings. When u want a lunch to fill you up, go to earls!

Been visiting here for lunch for well over 10 years, firstly at lunchtime whilst at sixth form in Sherborne, then into my working life. I've had a couple recently and they've been great, lovely soft torpedo rolls either with one filling or cut in two with two different fillings. My favourites are corned beef and mustard and then coronation chicken with lettuce! Very reasonable prices too. A must try!

This has to be one of the best Sandwich shops I've ever been to. For a small shop, it is always very busy, but the staff are very quick and efficient! As well as being friendly and providing excellent sandwiches and service! 5*

I regularly pop into Earls when I'm in town and don't have time to sit down for lunch. They do a great selection of fillings and you can have a variety of salads (which are amazing!), baguettes, sandwiches, and more. The service is great, always friendly. Portions are very big, which means it's great value for money. And always delicious!Would recommend for anyone.

A group of friends and I drive about 10 miles into town every other week just to get these sandwiches. I like to try a different filling every time and they have all been amazing. To make things even better these sandwiches are fantastic value.

This is a fantastic sandwich shop. The rolls are fresh and the filling are super yummy. The rolls are definitely good value for money. One small criticism is that out of the 3 times I have been, 2 occasions I could not get my filling of choice as they had ran out. If the availability was better would have rated as excellent. Staff very friendly.

Good sandwich friendly staff good cleanliness and overall a good place to go for a quick snack. Didnt go out of their way to make you feel welcome but didnt go over the top either. Wasnt amazing but was good.

Order for a delivery to my workplace regularly , always arrives in plenty of time and always fresh . Often have salad boxes and granary baps ! Recommend the bang bang chicken !

This tiny shop hidden just out side the busy town centre, not far from the church at the top of the town. This place has been going for years and with a very good reason the sandwiches are first class and very affordable.if you like subway sandwiches you will love this place.If I had to mark it down for anything it would be the limited opening hours as it is only open for lunch times and is closed on a Sunday.

Having moved out of Yeovil for work, I've not had one for years, but had one last week, still the best sandwiches by far. Loads of choice, well priced and all nice and fresh

I Grew up with Earls Sandwich and have visited on occasions for the last 15 years it's always consistent and fresh with an amazing range of fillings it's a real treat. Always ordered Chinese Chicken in my youth but last time I went visiting family earlier in 2015 I went for Mexican Chicken and minted lamb (half n half) wow. I live in Plymouth now with over a dozen similar establishments but whenever I eat from them I fantasise that Im eating am Earls sandwich nowhere I've tried comes close.

The choice is spectacular. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the option to place an order in advance and collect is so very handy it's a wonder it's not used more often. I would recommend Earls over the local Subway store without hesitation.

Nothing to dislike. The choice is easy just have what you want.Lots to chose from. Good service. Very clean. Good price. I have there a few times If I am going away I get the baguettes to takeon the journey great.

Having used Earls for many years, I was astonished to see a HUGE price increase just before christmas 2014. Without warning, (not that they have to of course!) my usual went from £2.80 to £4.00 !!!! Be very wary of branded, price marked cans of drinks in the chiller that they 'accidentally' charge almost double for at the counter.No! Absolutely not acceptable!Won't be returning now out of principle.

The food & drink order was taken promptly and made in a timely manner. Food is prepared to order & can be seen being prepared in front of you. The food presentation was mouth watering and tasted even better!! The food was fresh and tasted great. Can't fault it in the slightest. The most important part was that the prices that reflected value for money.

Earls offer a fantastic selection of fillings for your rolls or sandwiches. Their torpedo rolls are always yummy and very filling. Also love their mint Australian crunch, definitely worth a visit.

Heard rave reviews from many friends and family so on a lunch break decided to pop in. Got outside and walked few steps opened it up and there was a long dark hair in it. Took it back to be told 'it was probably mine' (I am blonde). Don't mind if it was or if they had offered another sandwich, was the poor response that annoyed me.

Huge filled sandwiches; rolls and salad boxes. Great choice on the menu. Could have any choice filling with the salad box. Rolls always made fresh to order. Recommend the bacon and sausage roll.

Fantastic friendly staff, very welcoming & helpful. Without doubt the best rolls in the area. Different choice of rolls & a vast array of choices for fillings from hot fillings to cold, with or without salad, salt, pepper etc. they also stock cold drinks, a selection of cakes, crisps & also hot drinks. These rolls are very reasonably priced, especially for the quantity they give you. They are very tasty and I can't recommend them enough, Earls always deliver every time :)

I've been around the world and I, I, I...I can't find no better! To me, this is the greatest sandwich shop ever. I grew up in Yeovil and used to stroll down to Earls back when I was in college. I've told tales of Earls on my travels round the world. In fact, when I was working in Austria I flew home for 48 hours with a friend just so he could try it - we even took some back with us. If there is a better sandwich place anywhere out there then I've not found it.Chinese chicken on white with lettuce, onion and cucumber - bit of salt and pepper...you can't go wrong.I'll see you in May.

Much, much better than Subways, a torpedo roll, which is big enough for anyone is from £2.50 to £3.00 and will definitely fill you up. At Subway, it's £5.00 for the same equivalent size sandwich and the choice at Earls is also really wide - my faves are Mexican Chicken, Duck in Sweet and Sour Sauce and their Bacon and Egg rolls. Absolutely delicious and the best place in town for a sandwich.

Without a doubt the best fresh made sandwich, roll or torpedo you will get anywhere .. let alone Yeovil. Fresh bread, fresh salad, great fillings - and a more than reasonable price.Forget your Subway .. go to the place that was doing it first !!Many people even struggle to finish a normal torpedo from there .. no need to pay extra for a foot long.Can't recommend enough.

seriously, if you havent been, stop what you are doing right now and go to Earls. i have eaten a lot of sandwiches over the years, Earls are amazing. always fresh, handmade in front of you, excellent prices. absolutely outstanding.
