My friend and I popped in here for the first time on a Saturday morning, first thing. The ladies serving and cooking were very friendly and welcoming. My friend and I both had a breakfast and coffee. The toast in addition was served separately and with butter and marmalade. The cooked breakfast was lush and well worth the money we paid. We had a good laugh with the staff. The atmospheres was lovely. I would highly recommend this cafe for breakfast or even just a cuppa!

First visit and what a great little cafe.I had the best cheese bacon mushroom and onion omelette I have ever had.Light fluffy and fresh.Fantastic friendly staff.I will definitely be back.

Really friendly. Clean and really good size portions The quiche was really tasty and pastry good, chips were great too My husbands breakfast went down well Maybe try the breakfast omelette next time, or the wrap, or, I could go on

We are the 'Ladies who lunch' We all agree that cafe Vie is our favorite place. We are served delicious food by friendly and obliging staff.

Great food, I had the lentil soup, it was thick and creamy, best I have tasted. My partner had southern fried chicken wraps, delicious . Lovely atmosphere and affordable prices. Very prompt service and great staff. Dog frendly as well. Highly recommend going there.

We grabbed a quick lunch here - I had the southern fried chicken wrap and my partner had a cheese and mushroom toastie. Food came quickly, at a good temperature and it’s very good value too. My partner recommends the banana milkshake and I enjoyed my latte. A 5* lunch.

Lovely food,all cooked fresh. Very nice pleasant,friendly staff. Go there every week. I'm Celiac and they have glutenfree bread etc9

A walk round the park then a sandwich, coffee and a sausage for the little man. Love this place! ..as does Spider!

Popped in here for a quick bite to eat, ordered the tuna sandwich which came on fresh brown bread with a lovely salad and gorgeous coleslaw. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Will definitely return!

Really enjoyed my breakfast here today. The cafe is inviting, cosy and clean. The ladies are friendly and welcoming, we had a lovely chat, the atmosphere in the cafe is so lovely. The Food is very good, And the coffee is very good! Highly recommend!!

Have drove past this sweet looking little cafe loads of times and always wanted to give it a try but have never got around to it. Thankfully today myself and my wife were in town and called in for breakfast and it was really lovely. Really good choice available at very reasonable prices and also both the ladies were polite, efficient and friendly. I had mushrooms in cream on toast and my wife went for fried eggs on toast all perfectly cooked along with a lovely pot of tea for two. The cafe seems to have a lot of returning regular customers and we will definitely be returning too.

This has to be the best family run restaurant in Yeovil .. wonderful home cooked food my friend Eileen and I love the place such a lovely place the people or should I say ladies are wonderful.....Love the place so much I took my daughter there for a meal

This place is just the sweetest and loveliest cafe in Yeovil. Run by women, these ladies are attentive to your needs and you can order anything you want for breakfast. They let me have my tailored breakfast even those it was probably a bit cheeky and bonkers. But it was soooo good with very generous portions that defeated me. Honestly they really are just lovely and chatty and see you as a person. Will definitely come again!! Thank you so much ladies you rock!! Kate xx ❤️ P.S: the window display is just so fun!

Had to kill an hour between hairdressers and opticians so popped in as I had a cheese craving beautiful cheese and mushroom omellette with great chips and salad very reasonable and delicious

Service is excellent, cheerful and always service with a smile. The range of food is first class and I suggest you try the omelettes ! My choice is the vegetarian breakfast as it is always cooked to perfection. Nice seats outside and dogs are welcome inside and outside . I am a regular but often see new faces. It’s great to be able to go to my favourite cafe in Yeovil again. On my last visit , I had the Scampi and it was delicious. Keep up the good work ladies.

my wife and i went in for an early breakfast , full english for me and scrambled eggs for her, WOW! mine was two eggs, two rashers, two sausages, beans, tomato,mushrooms,hash brown, two slices of toast butter and marmalade and a big mug of tea ,for my wife a three egg scramble on two toast with a cappucino large, all cooked very nicely, served quickly, very freindly and laid out well, the best bit excellent price, will make this our regular .

My friend and I had intended to go to the excellent Cafe 50 for lunch but unfortunately (very unfortunately as it turned out) it was closed, perhaps the owners were on holiday. We decided to to try Cafe Vie next door. The cafe is quite small but could be cosy. We sat at a table for four and, despite it being lunchtime, were surprised that there were so few customers. A waitress (wearing flip-flops, not the most health and safety conscious footwear when serving hot meals and drinks) took our order. When the food arrived the portions were really generous and, for the price we paid, we thought it was very good value for money. We were asked if we wanted vinegar and this was delivered in a plastic supermarket bottle. Still, the food was OK so we were happy enough. The problems came when we had finished our meal and were waiting for the plates to be cleared so we could order dessert and another coffee. We waited for about ten minutes; I tried to catch the eye of one of the waitresses who were chatting in the kitchen, without success. We moved our plates across to the unoccupied side of the table to make them more noticeable. Still no service, despite the fact that a waitress walked past our table to go outside to one of the pavement tables, walked back past us, looked at the plates and then returned to the kitchen to continue her conversation! We waited another twenty minutes (the cafe was still more than half empty, so they weren't at all busy) before deciding to call it a day. I was very tempted to pick up the plates and take them through to the kitchen, as they obviously had no intention of clearing the tables themselves. Perhaps I should also have offered to do the washing up, as their conversation seemed to be more important that their customers. The person who took our payments couldn't have been less interested. We certainly wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend the place to anyone else. If you want a really good meal then go to Cafe 50, lots of home cooked, fresh food, fantastic fast and friendly service and REAL coffee. Cafe Vie - with competition like this next door, you really need to up your game!

A friend and I went in for lunch, had scampi and chips which was ok. Rather a limited menu. We had intended having a pudding. We finished our meal and waited for a while for our plates to be collected (about 10 mins) we then moved out finished plates across the table in the hope that when the staff, who were not busy would pick up our used plates and take our dessert order. This never happened. We continued to wait for another 15-20 minutes and then decided to go to the till to pay. Waitress was completely disinterested. Obviously we will not be back.

A chance visit to this superb little cafe which I have walk past so many times before, left me feeling as I had missed something special for too long. I popped in for what I thought was a cup of plain old black coffee but having been overcome by the pleasant smell of a full English breakfast, decided to indulge myself.I ordered the Gold Breakfast and got the following.2 Fried Eggs2 Sausages3 Slices of Back BaconMushroomsHash BrownGrilled Tomato Baked Beans2 Slices of ToastButter and MarmaladeLarge mug of Coffee.I would also have got a fried bread but not being partial this was gladly swapped for another Hash Brown. And all for £7.00. Excellent value, considering it was all piping hot and very well presented, all freshly cooked and served up in a clean and tidy Cafe. It went down a treat. We were waited on by a very pleasant and courteous lady and I was so impressed that I felt I had to give praise to both the lady waiting and the other lady who had cooked and presented such a lovely breakfast.I will certainly not be walking past so often in the future and if you want a well presented breakfast that is large and cooked well then I suggest you avoid the supermarket cafe’s and spend the extra £1 to experience a superior offering. Well done to all at Cafe Vie here’s my 5 Star rating to match your 5 Star Food and Hygiene Rating.

What a lovely little cafe down a side street . Never been here before but definatly will return . Food was lovely and so much of it. We had omelette and chips and omelette and salad. So much on the plates and a huge mug of tea also. Service brilliant I highly recommend.

We were looking for a quick late lunch and spotted this café - unfortunately the soup had all been finished, so opted for a quiche, only to be surprized that one soup was still available, so two of us shared it, together with half a quiche, which came with salad.Very friendly staff.Three of us enjoyed our late lunch.

A friend and I met here for lunch and a catch up. I had reserved a table and they gave us the one by the window which was lovely. It was very busy but didn't feel overcrowded at all. The atmosphere was really relaxed and we felt very comfortable. The staff were outstanding- very attentive, polite and chatty - and you can clearly see that they are one of the reasons that their customers return. Another reason is because of the great food. I can highly recommend the southern fried chicken wrap as it was delicious. There is a wide range of food and drink available which are all very reasonably priced. We will definitely be visiting again!

Small cafe with very friendly staff. Gluten free options not marked on menu but chef came and discussed options when asked. Lovely kids lunch boxes with choice of sandwiches, drinks etc and toys very reasonably priced (£3.50). recommended by another customer who was outside as we were looking at menu and said he came to Yeovil regularly to eat here. Midweek lunch, cafe quiet, clean and nice food cooked to order.

Four adults with two guide dog puppies visited for a snack. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed the experience.

Excelente Café en Yeovil justo al lado del parque de coche y muy cerca del centro. El servicio es excelente y la comida siempre caliente hasta un nivel muy alto. Patatas fritas regularmente tienen tortilla y guisantes y aunque suena simple siempre es preparada y presentada a la perfección. Mi esposa ha intentado varios artículos del menú está igualmente bien satisfechos aquí. En este mundo, es muy fácil criticar pero en un mar de mediocridad Cafe Vie es genial. Enhorabuena a todo el personal

Quite regularly come here now, they do a fantastic poached eggs, with cheese and ham on toast - and a drink, it's my favourite! Will continue to come here as much as possible, always a very friendly atmosphere and the staff are lovely!

Sábado por leer el menú y estaba deseando que una gran comida para almorzar pero por desgracia dos conjuntos de los clientes llegó después. que nos dieron la bienvenida y servían antes, aunque nos habían reconocido antes de servir las otras parejas. Nos habría sido un impulso de seis órdenes, así que decidimos salir con ni disculpas. Nunca volveré ya que no me gusta rusos maleducados o cafés.

Went here for breakie whilst visiting the UK from Canada. It was awesome ! The food was delicious and just as good as home, although I'll never understand the Brits obsession with cups of tea lol.

My friend and I found this lovely little cafe by accident. We have visited it on several occasions and we have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and the staff are always very welcoming. Would recommend this cafe to everyone. Well done.

Almost at the end of Princess street, only found this by accident. Lovely little cosy Cafe. Welcoming staff. Just called in for Coffee break. My wife ordered a Tea Cake, it came with butter served in a dish, ample jam and marmalade. What a change from the usual hard wrapped butter offered by so many establishments. My cheese scone tasted home made, again with ample butter Tea and Coffee made fresh. All very welcomed. Back for seconds soon.

I have been here many times and its never failed. Service excellent, food and drink excellent, location excellent. Scrambled eggs and Salmon on toast with a tea £5.50. Why would you go anywhere else. I also have visited with my 2 sons, family and friends - they ALL love the place! We will see you soon!

Lovely meal . Lovely staff . Was not too much trouble to rush us a meal in 10 minutes . We were visiting football fans . Jacket potato served with tuna and cheese . Salad all fresh and added to the meal at no extra cost . Very large meals . Very clean shop .
