Good food, sensibly priced, local beers with a pleasant relaxed surroundings & local crowd. I'll be returning.

Fab meal, the roast was amazing. Clean, well run, lovely food looking forward to going back soon

I'm not sure if vaping is still allowed inside here as none was evident on this last visit, but it was disappointing and smelly the time before we were here. Hopefully, it's banned now. Th Sunday roast beef and pork lunches were very good, tasty. Plenty of meat, nice range of vegetables. Recommended. Good real ale offerings. Very friendly, very good service. 👍

I must say that today we received the best service ever for a pub lunch. It was fast, friendly and efficient. Good food at a fair price and quality real ale.

Popped in for dinner was seen to a table straight away the light was fluttering bad with electrical fault lad said he would come back tosort it never did. Services bar OK but only 1 member of staff on Saturday night Toilets were vile at 6pm All clean cutlery was just brought out half of it was filthy All tables and floor were filthy and the decor is so run down and think the over 20 years old needs total clean up Wouldn't recommend unfortunately

Came here for some beers after an afternoon out and about. Ended up eating too, and it was great! Only one thing that was a letdown was one of the servers. Quite rude to us and another group but everyone else was so friendly.

Excellent food with choices different than your usual pub menus. Great friendly welcome and staff attentive and friendly throughout the evening. Good atmosphere . A great asset to Exmouth.

Excellent as usual, the lovely Maisie or Nicky and their team will look after you, superbly, often see the same faces as it is so popular. Love going there.

Popped in for a pint and decided to have a light lunch the cream of mushroom soup was great. Dog friendly.

Two meals ordered, first was the beach burger - the chicken in the burger was tough and overcooked, one slice of bacon was brown in colour, second was the scallops and prawns for £11-the 2 prawns were ok but small but the tiny scallops were tough amd slightly undercooked And thirdly the Belly bites-the meat was chewy, the cracking was also chewy and didn't melt in the mouth how I was expecting it to.

Nice atmosphere, nicely decorated, nice friendly staff good food. Eat as part of a group

It's definitely worth a visit. The food we had was excellent and dog friendly too.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️We enjoyed the most incredible meal today, all of it was cooked to perfection. We had mussels and baby pork bites for staters. Followed by sirloin steaks with peppercorn sauce. We requested medium rare and they were spot on. Staff very welcoming and friendly. A lovely atmosphere. Thank you 🙂 we look forward to coming back soon.

Nice pub in a seafront location with good food and service.

Really nice service - quick and friendly - and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. It's quite busy and bustling (not your quiet romantic dinner) but you're made to feel welcome and we'd definitely go back.

A party of 13 had no complaints about the starters or mains.

The food is okay, cooked nicely and well. but simple dishes that most could cook at home no surprise here. The menu is average. We did only eat in the pub and I believe there’s a restaurant section that could offer a different menu. Clean and tidy with nice service. I would not return as the menu and atmosphere is quite boring and bland.

We were there Monday of August bank holiday and it was gorgeous. They’re right on the quay so the vibe feels great. We managed to get a table outside as the sun went down. Staff are lovely, pub very well maintained and beer great. The food menu looked great - local and fresh fish adopted. We’re tempted to return this evening for dinner.

Great pub atmosphere, although we we're only there to have a few drinks, next time we will have a meal there as well as the food did look amazing

The only pub in Exmouth to serve Bass which gives it an instant 5-star review from me. It’s also a great pub with a good atmosphere.

Menu was good and staff friendly. Efficient service. The food was good, although the prawn and scallop started for £9.95 consisted of 2 prawns and 3 scallops which was expensive. Its obviously a busy pub but unfortunately it didn't really work to also have people eating as it was loud and I had someone standing drinking right behind me very close to my chair the whole time I was eating.

The pub is adjacent to the Marina and is very popular. There is a good range of drinks and real ales. The menu and daily specials menu has many varied options and its difficult to choose one of the fantastic offerings. We opted to share the moules mariniere which was delicious. The pub has plenty of seating inside and outside but can get full quickly during the tourist months.

Lovely family meal I visited on a warm summer Sunday lunchtime and enjoyed some nice food and drinks. I had the gnocchi with axed chicken and chorizo. The portion was huge and everything was cooked well. The sauce was really tasty. I also had pork belly bites as a side but they were very chewy. I'd suggest they should be chopped into pieces after being cooked rather than cooked on small pieces to avoid that. My Dad liked the burger and my Mum loved her salmon. Again, very generous portions. My sister had sea bass and her girlfriend the prawn linguine. We all cleared our plates so that shows how good the food was. The bar had a fantastic array of drinks available, however they were a little overpriced. The service was great from all staff members which added nicely to our experience.

Called in here for a glass of wine after a boat trip. Nice local pub with a good mix of people and friendly staff. Didn't try the food but look good from what I could see.

Love Love Love this place! its often hard to get in without booking 1st. Food has never dissapointed, except when the popular specials run out, but there is always somethiing else to choose. Been coming here every time I am in Exmouth

Went there lunchtime so it was nice and quiet.. Service was good and the food was tasty! Ah added bonus is they sell Devon Red cider which I 💕

We had a meal and drinks here on the 12th of july for three of us,Good food,good atmosphere and the staff are nice and friendly top marks.Will definitely be going back.

Great Father’s Day meal with my daughter. Wonderful veggie/vegan options and a well stocked bar. The waitress was very friendly and although the pub was packed the landlady found time for a welcoming chat, a very nice lady.

Worst meal we had in Exmouth fish and chips at17 pounds was awful fish just all batter just broke I. Pieces when cut into chips were frozen and served just warm with cold pureed mushy peas that was mine the wife had fish pie which looked good till you cut into then just a white gooey mess would we.go back again NO

We went here this evening for dinner. 1st visit for us. Service was good, food was nice we had chicken, Bacon and avocado salad which was very tasty. They have a good choice of beers. Its reasonably priced as well. Will definitely be back if we are in the area. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

Great pub. Very friendly staff and locals. Fantastic food and a good selection of beers, wine, and cider. Don't be put off as the outside doesn't look great, but the inside and all it has to offer is so worth a visit or two. We had the scallops and prawn starter. Then, the pan-fried salmon with Mediterranean veg and new potatoes and the pan fried seabass from the special board. It's all very tasty and well cooked. We will be back when next in Exmouth.

Pub is much better inside than it would appear from the outside. Friendly staff, good selection of food Paid about £80 for four main meals and drinks - so not too bad

The inside of the pub is fine, but the outside is a little cramped, and the furniture needs cleaning up after the seagulls have paid a visit.

We had dinner at the Beach, friendly service, great food, very reasonably priced wine and overall fantastic value. Friendly and professional service from Ruby, helpful bar staff too. We both had burgers and shared a bottle of merlot. Excellent.

We called in and they found us a table quickly. Ordered drinks and food which arrived quickly. The food was good, fish pie, Cumberland sausage and salmon meals well prepared. Service was good, waitress was helpful and cheerie.

Great food in a special pub atmosphere.Whilst I would suggest first impressions when looking at the exterior could give you the wrong impression.I strongly recommend anyone to go inside and sample the food on offer .We were extremely well looked after by a young lady called Ruby.

Can I just thank the staff of The Beach for making us so welcome yesterday. Having got a fairly good soaking in one of our April showers, we popped in here in the hope of a hot drink. Although they were busy preparing for an Easter Monday Lunch Service, we were happily provided delicious hot drinks and advised of where non-reserved seating was available. The Beach having undergone a complete refurbishment recently is a lovely seaside pub, with a comfortable and warm atmosphere, and definitely worth a visit, something we shall certainly be doing, again, in the near future.

Really good food, excellent service and really friendly atmosphere. If you are in the area give this pub a go.

We booked for a party of 14. The waitress Alana was very accommodating and knowledgeable. The food was 10/10 & service was extremely fast considering the pub was packed. Food was presented really well and great quality for money

The whole experience was excellent, the friendly and efficient staff, the food, the atmosphere, the toilets. Maisie and Alana looked after us so well we were loathe to leave and we will all definitely be visiting again very soon.

We have been here fairly regularly over the last year. Each time the food has been very tasty and service really good. Lovely atmosphere in a busy locals pub serving locally sourced food. Alana and Emmi ( think have it right) looked after us well on a very busy night. What's not to like.

Had a fantastic meal last night, the atmosphere in the pub is brilliant, Leanne was bubbly and friendly and sorted our table straight away, our waitress was Ruby who again was lovely and looked like she really enjoyed her job and nothing was to much trouble. The Beach pub certainly has a wonderful team of staff which only adds to making it a very welcoming pub.

A lovely clean, friendly and warm pub. We were served really quickly at the bar, then ordered food and we waited on for drinks - a lovely touch. I had the chicken dish, but the menu suits all with lots of additional daily specials too. The food was beautiful, well presented and hot. Thank you, a lovely evening with the girls

Only seemed to be one young girl taking out food but it was great food and worth a little wait as was a full house.

Went with my godson & his mother on a wet Saturday lunchtime. The pub's welcome was warm, the food varied & scrummy and the service good. Two of us had scallps and prawns, the other halloumi, followed by a stacked burger, fajitas that truly sizzled & the pie of the day - all of which were delicious. My godson gives the pub a big thumbsup and I concur.

Just a nice place, great food, plesent staff (who care) good beer's and a super atmosphere.

We have eaten here a few times because they serve wonderful meals so we took my German friend there on Friday. It was really busy but we were not disappointed, the food was still great. I had the pan fried duck and it was superb. Our waitress, Ruby, was really friendly and efficient (10 out of 10.) We will definitely be going back again.

Pub in great location near the beach and harbour / marina … good menu , plenty of choice for everyone and good selections of gin etc Pretty quick service for food. Gets busy, so booking a table is recommended. Overall a good pub for drinks and/ or food.

This is a fab pub - brilliant food, lovely staff and a great atmosphere. They also have a good children's menu.

Great pub, no food this time but a good selection of ales. Never had to wait to be served even though Boxing day very busy.

We visited this place twice over two nights, the staff were helpful and friendly and accommodating whilst we pushed the boundaries of the menu! The manageress supported by Leanne and Holly just couldn’t do enough for us and made our anniversary a memorable experience 👍

Had family dinner one member of group has dairy issues and the staff was fully focus explaining everything and suggesting options to adapt menu for their needs. The food was amazing you expect pub standard food but the quality and cooking was much more than pub grub. The scallops special starters was the bestI scallops meal I eaten. We all had the steak all to different level of cooking and all 3 was spot on our requirement. On top of food atmosphere was welcoming. We be going back in 2024.

Popped in for a Sunday roast and in my opinion it was delicious; presented extremely well by friendly staff and cooked just right. We have visited a good few times and the atmosphere is always fun, friendly and warm. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike overlooking Exmouth Marina and just across the road Exmouth's main beach.

Lovely staff here Lorraine really out herself out to make our evening a relaxing one.

We were a family group of 5 meeting together to remember a much loved family member who is no longer with us. So we were looking for a good meal, in nice surroundings, a good range of drinks and a relaxing experience. What we got was well presented and lovely food (the Sea Bass was amazing) A variety of local beers and great wines - all sensibly priced. Friendly and attentive staff gave us a great experience. The pub itself is a really nice to be. There were literally no negatives. The Beach Pub is a gem! We will certainly be returning.

Sunday Roast They have reintroduced Sunday roast now that the cold weather is coming. The pub was packed out but the landlady managed to find us a table for 2. We had the veggie option - mushroom wellington - and the roast beef. All the food was piping hot and fresh, the waiting staff were friendly and, although very busy, remained calm and composed under pressure. There is a great selection of real ales and wines. The pub was nice and clean with fresh flowers on the table which was a nice touch. Well worth a visit. Highly recommended.

Another excellent meal last week with friends at The Beach. As usual food excellent with lovely service. Nothing too much trouble for Maisie and her team. Highly recommend this place for dinner, lunch or just a few drinks.
