Tried it for the first time today. Started with decaf Americano and coffee cake for a late elevenses, soon followed up with an early lunch consisting of their soup of the day with a warm cheese scone and lots of butter, and a second decaf Americano. Everything was excellent!
Took my mum here for a Mother’s Day/birthday treat, we had a cream tea, and it was absolutely amazing we’ve been before and it’s always been brilliant, the scones are fresh and warm, and crunchy on the outside and so soft in the middle, generous amount of cream and jam, prices are very good too,
Would definitely recommend it for cream tea
Such a huge improvement. The last couple that had this place were so rude.
We had promised never to return however having sent was under new management we gave it another shot and I’m so glad we did, great food and really warm and hospitable service
What amazing takeaway food this week, feather blade beef was so soft and the flavours just fantastic. It’s restaurant quality and worth every penny. Thanks High Grange we will definitely be back!

“Seafood from the coast of Exmouth straight to your plate. This is what the website says and that is exactly what you get. Tucked away just behind the main street in Exmouth is this lovely seafood restaurant. A small bar and dining area downstairs with more dining and the kitchen upstairs. If you can secure a table upstairs you can see many of the dishes being prepared in front of you. The menu is as you would expect mainly fish with a meat option of steak. Starters are around £7-10 with mains between £28-32. My only slight grumble is that potatoes/chips and greens are all extra. At these prices they should be included. We were a party of 5 (6 is the maximum table size) and we all had really excellent and memorable food. One of our party was 90 and thought her fish was one of the best she had ever tasted. There is a good wine list with prices starting at £22 per bottle.
As soon as you step through the door you know the place is well run; with the shop shelves beautifully stacked. All the prices were very reasonable too. Like the shop, the cafe was spotless where we enjoyed coffee that was full of flavour, but not bitter. It was obvious the whole business was being well looked after and clients were made very welcome.
Exceeds Expectations - great service, friendly and professional. Nice menu with good choice. Reasonable value for money offerings. Tasty and well presented food. Everything you would want from a cafe stop.
Recommend the breakfast wrap with ketchup and garlic sauce.
Superb.
Passiflora is a lovely coffee shop surrounded by idyllic gardens. The coffee and pastries are extremely delicious and the vibe exceptionally salubrious. So far, three generations are creating a wonderful atmosphere for conversation and relaxation. Watch out Mary Berry, Grandma makes a wicked Victoria Sponge! 🌿😋☕️🍰🌸
Brilliant lunch , love coming in here when i visit honiton . My Fiancé had never visited before didn’t even know there was a coffee shop at the back of the gift shop. he loved it , so we will definatly be returning. I had soup and my finance had a small breakfast , and then a doughnut each for dessert , such a lovely selection of things to have . We had an amazing stay at the Bear Bread Bakery B&B! The place is lovely and quirky, really well located and the owners made us feel super welcome. Breakfast was also outstanding - perfect way to start the day!
Our first visit to Wesley’s and we will definitely go back when we next visit Budleigh Salterton. Highly recommend this lovely cafe. Best panini lunch we’ve had, very good coffee and friendly service. A sunny day so we sat outside in the garden, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing time.
Another positive is that young people with special needs are employed here and we were served by Josh who was a delightful and helpful young man.
Well done to all at Wesley’s!
We would TOTALLY agree with the One review. A gem of a find. It has been a very long time since we have enjoyed such finger-licking (yes, we had the tiger prawns; exceptional, as were the samosas!) unpretentious, tasty, expertly prepared, top quality food, for a very reasonable price. All freshly prepared, as we waited. Met with a warm welcome, with an abundance of enthusiasm to check we were enjoying our flavoursome Portuguese fayre. Our taste buds had a full workout! Our hosts are rightfully proud of their mama’s culinary skills and the evident love and care she lavishes on her creations. The menu is simple, but powerful. We will definitely be back for more. Thank you for making my husband’s birthday lunch an absolute delight. Obrigado! Tina & family
