Such a lovely cafe, we followed the river walk from Lyme Regis to Uplyme & although the last section was a bit steep, it was well worth it!! We had a really warm welcome & a great lunch. I even ordered the chutney theyâd served us online when I got home!! Really made our day special - highly recommend (very dog friendly too).
Recommended by the Bedford Hotel where we always stay when visiting Regency Sidmouth for "the best Devonshire cream tea."
Quality jam and cream is presented in proper dishes, not prepacked in hideous plastic containers. A generous supply although we have had better scones but still worth a visit. "A destination in itself."đŹđ§đłđż
Took my mum here for a Motherâs Day/birthday treat, we had a cream tea, and it was absolutely amazing weâve been before and itâs always been brilliant, the scones are fresh and warm, and crunchy on the outside and so soft in the middle, generous amount of cream and jam, prices are very good too,
Would definitely recommend it for cream tea
My family and I have just returned from The Castle Inn at Axminster in Devon. We went for a three course lunch on Boxing Day. It was excellent and extremely good value for money.
Thank you SO much to Luke and High Grange team for catering our wedding (110 guests).
It was the most incredibly delicious food (those canapĂŠs and that salmon đ¤¤) and all our guests have been raving about it since - a lot of them said itâs the best wedding food theyâve ever had! Also to have Luke cooking whilst everyone was having their drinks in the sunshine was just fab.
A big thank you also to the HG team for being so flexible and accommodating - appreciate not many people serving a wedding 3 course meal from a greenhouse - absolute legends.
Iâd also recommend their feast night - unreal food and such a beautiful setting!
Lastly a shout out to Sush for being a complete lifesaver with organising the big day - couldnât have done it without you!
Manor Hotel The Beacon, Exmouth EX8 2AG England, England
âSeafood from the coast of Exmouth straight to your plate. This is what the website says and that is exactly what you get. Tucked away just behind the main street in Exmouth is this lovely seafood restaurant. A small bar and dining area downstairs with more dining and the kitchen upstairs. If you can secure a table upstairs you can see many of the dishes being prepared in front of you. The menu is as you would expect mainly fish with a meat option of steak. Starters are around ÂŁ7-10 with mains between ÂŁ28-32. My only slight grumble is that potatoes/chips and greens are all extra. At these prices they should be included. We were a party of 5 (6 is the maximum table size) and we all had really excellent and memorable food. One of our party was 90 and thought her fish was one of the best she had ever tasted. There is a good wine list with prices starting at ÂŁ22 per bottle.
As soon as you step through the door you know the place is well run; with the shop shelves beautifully stacked. All the prices were very reasonable too. Like the shop, the cafe was spotless where we enjoyed coffee that was full of flavour, but not bitter. It was obvious the whole business was being well looked after and clients were made very welcome.
Old Beer Road Seaton Hole Beach, Seaton England, England
Awesome boat trip, super friendly staff and reasonably priced! Boats come really frequently and we didnât queue at all. Really made our little getaway.
Stopped here on the off chance and so glad we did. Best breakfasts we have had for a long, long time. All day breakfast and omelette with sides all freshly cooked, hot and extremely tasty. Very good value, would highly recommend if you are passing through any time of day.
Passiflora is a lovely coffee shop surrounded by idyllic gardens. The coffee and pastries are extremely delicious and the vibe exceptionally salubrious. So far, three generations are creating a wonderful atmosphere for conversation and relaxation. Watch out Mary Berry, Grandma makes a wicked Victoria Sponge! đżđâď¸đ°đ¸

Fourteen of us had breakfast at Wesley's on a Thursday morning earlier this month. It was excellent value, the plates were hot and the food was delicious. As always all the staff were welcoming, friendly, efficient and helpful. It's a great place to meet and eat or just pop in for a cup of coffee and a delicious freshly made scone.
