We were visiting Exmouth for one night and walked past this restaurant whilst having a stroll. Later we decided to go and eat there. With no reservation they accommodated us even though quite busy. We were welcomed with a smile and the whole experience was fantastic. The food, service and friendliness was excellent. We would thoroughly recommend eating at Restaurant Sapori.

Clean, well presented, really Friendly staff with a good of drinks, ice creams and cakes. I went with a luxury hot chocolate and marshmallow cake, my daughter had blueberry cheesecake and milkshake made with her choice of fresh ice cream made on the premises snd my boring husband had a pot of tea, which he topped off with a not so boring banana cake. It was all delicious and the best find of the day

Delicious fresh pizza, and offer home delivery, but quite expensive. The make your own is quite good value. Usually quick delivery. Quite traditional, thin crust, nice tomato sauce and not swimming in oily cheese. Just the right balance

Always welcoming and a favourite café when visiting Sidmouth. Excellent coffees and hearty soup of the day. Generous bowl full. Bright and big windows on a corner position for people watching. Dailly newspapers. Doggy friendly. 🇬🇧🇳🇿

Whenever in Sidmouth I always visit The Cheeseboard. There is a wide range of cheeses with the staff being very knowledgeable and offer expert advice. I always come away with a whole range of cheeses and always ensure that I have a good wedge of Devon Blue. As a bonus, having tried a range of cheeses, I know what to go for when ordering online.

Friendly greeting, tiny cafe, I wouldn’t call it wheelchair accessible but then I was just using a stick. A couple of small tables and some Bench tables with barstools that had a great view of the sea. I don’t think the food overpriced for. a ‘Cumberland’ sausage sandwich as advertised. But, the sausages were not Cumberland and if they weren’t available perhaps it would have nice to have the option to pick something else. The quality of the sausages was relatively poor. When we asked on leaving what they were, we were told they were produced by their own company. That I seriously doubt. The drinks were fine and a reasonable price for the location. We probably could have done without the conversation being had about the owners housemate and his mothers mental issues. We couldn’t help but overhear because it’s a small place!

Fancied trying this place for a while, we had an absolutely delicious starter of Pate, best I’ve tasted for a long time. Then we had ordered lasagne of which I can only describe as worse than a supermarket ready made! There was hardly any meat in it, too much liquid which made it a sloppy mess! I couldn’t finish it so I did complain and was given a reduction on mine! The owner was acting like a child barking at one of the staff and it was totally a very unpleasant experience! No ambiance at all. This is purely based on my opinion and experience on the evening. It was a special celebration which was ruined. I would have had a better experience in a chain restaurant! The waiters were pleasant and obviously the cooking is not down to them. Won’t be returning!
