A big thank you for bearing with our confused opera schedule tonight. In the end we only had 30 minutes but the staff swung into action getting us a couple of freshly cooked pasta dishes in 10 minutes. Good ragu and stunning carbonara. 2 swift proper Italian coffees and the bill.allowed us back in time for the last act of Die Walkure on live ROH feed at the cinema. What a wonderful evening we had here. Excellent customer service and delicious food. The lady serving us was so welcoming, we told her we had been walking all day and she brought us some focaccia out saying she thought we needed it after a long day, so thoughtful. I had the seafood risotto and my partner had the seafood pasta dish, both were delicious. The puddings were the best we’ve had all week whilst we’ve been on holiday, amazing cheesecake and the caramel chocolate brownie was on a different level too!! So much nicer than all the chain restaurants, we highly recommend.

WE have been looking at Ristorante Sapori and saying we must go for some time and I'm so glad we did. It was really lovely. The attentive lady who served us was wonderful, I'm sorry I cannot remember your name, she could not do enough for us. Everything we had was superb. All the products are locally sourced and lovely and fresh. I had the Monk fish and it was beautifully cooked and presented. We shall definitely come back. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Lovely little place. Service was great. Food delicious. Parking is close by if you can't get a spot right outside. There is a small step into the restaurant but didn't ask if they had a ramp for access. The only thing I'd say is, the portion of the risotto is small for the price. However it is lovely. The bruschetta was outstanding.

We came across this wonderful little restaurant on a weekend away with a group of friends. We booked a table for 8 on a Friday evening and had a fantastic experience. A very accommodating host who looked after us all from start to finish. Every single starter and main meal was superb, a few of the party even found room for dessert too! Really do recommend a visit and hope to come back soon. Thank you 😊

Despite living in Exmouth for over 12 years we had never visited this restaurant. More fool us. Took friends who were visiting and it was a great decision. Discovered a warm welcome from Endolina and great food cooked to order. The menu contained many of my favourites so choosing was tough. Came away very satisfied and will be back again soon. A great evening.

Was welcomed by very nice and service-minded staff and got a table immediately. I chose Foccacia and risotto with blue cheese and walnuts and finished with Tiramisu. For drinks I chose a large glass of the house's red Veneto wine. Everything tasted very good 😋 😋 😋

Cannot fault this restaurant at all. Everything was spot on. Service, food atmosphere, location. The food was 10/10! Cannot rave about it enough. I will 1000% return and can't wait to return! The server, Cat? was full of smiles and very attentive. Family run, locally sourced food. 5 🌟!!

We found this place on Google Maps, and we were not disappointed. Booked over email and got a reply super quickly! The service was great and the food was even better. Eldurina really cared about making us feel comfortable and happy. Thank you. But there is one special mention, the cheese cake, and it is amazing, it's worth the trip even if you just eat this!

While the lasagne was BEAUTIFUL, please order the raspberry kadayif pistachio cheese cake. I’ve never had anything like it, and it was wonderful. Like everything we had it was made with love and care. I will return!!

Booked in this lovely restaurant as it was the only one open in Exmouth on a Monday. Not disappointed at all. Special offer on for January and February too. All pasta, pizza or risotto from the menu for £10.90. Ordered Bruschetta for starters and had seafood linguine for main course, both were delicious. Service was great and good atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Visiting Exmouth, we looked at the choices of Italian restaurants open on a Monday night and chose SAPORI because of its good reviews. What a good choice. Family run business, excellent food, sensibly priced and a warm, friendly welcome and service. They ARE open on Monday nights despite Trip Advisor saying it is closed. Thoroughly recommend if you like authentic Italian dishes. You will not be disappointed.

We saw a sandwich board advertising the restaurant during the day & went to look. As it was a Monday, we were not expecting the restaurant to be open, but it was. We returned for dinner & were not disappointed. Welcoming, friendly staff, good menu choices & the food was excellent. We particularly liked the fact that the owner described the special dishes and gave the price, something a liot of establishments omit. We will return next time we visit Exmouth.

Excellent quality archetypal Italian food and wines here. The Greco de tufo white wine we had with the speciality hake and pork was as outstanding as the food. The dishes were beautifully presented and tasty. Eldorina's personalised service is respectful, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant has nice decor and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We were visiting Exmouth for one night and walked past this restaurant whilst having a stroll. Later we decided to go and eat there. With no reservation they accommodated us even though quite busy. We were welcomed with a smile and the whole experience was fantastic. The food, service and friendliness was excellent. We would thoroughly recommend eating at Restaurant Sapori.

Lamb chops to die for. I don't often order lamb chops these days because the flavour and portions vary so much. But these were grilled to perfection and very tasty indeed. Portions were more than generous. We'll be back as soon as we can.

We had a lovely Italian meal at RISTORANTE SAPORI in Exmouth. The restaurant, tables, menu's etc. were impeccably clean and the service was excellent. The food was, beautifully presented tasty and memorable. We would not hesitate to return in the future should we be in the area. A big well done and thanks.

Four of us went for dinner and all of us had a great time. Warm friendly service, very attentive. 2 of us had risotto - delish. One had ragu - nicest he'd ever had. I had chicken in peppercorn sauce which was superb. I also had tiramisu for pudding and that was amazing too. We shall be returning!

Have visited a couple of times and this restaurant never fails. The food is excellent and service great and friendly. The atmosphere is such that you can have a conversation easily whilst eating. Love it and have recommended to others who loved it too

Staff friendly and very welcoming, food was excellent. The tables were well placed we didn't feel as if we were part of a large party, staff attentive but not intrusive serving authentic Italian food. As visitors to the area we recommend this restaurant, would strongly advise you to pre-book a table as very popular. Would most definitely revisit if we return to the area.

Absolutely loved this place, food was amazing. Scallops to start, then fish of the day for main. She even said she had been generous with the portion as she heard me say I'd been working. If it wasn't late, I'd have had tiramisu for dessert, as the couple on the next table were saying how lovely it was. Lovely restaurant, lovely staff. If you are in Exmouth this is a must. 😘👌

Good food, excellent service, what's not to like.

What a wonderful surprise! Was unsure what to expect but having read the other reviews I came. I now know this really is proper Italian food and hot food when served (which can be rare in exmouth). All plates cleared and supporting a family business

This is by far the BEST place to eat in Exmouth. Impeccable service and amazing, authentic Italian food. Dorinda and Kosta are the best hosts and always go above and beyond to give their customers a wonderful experience. Good quality food and value for money.

We were staying in Exmouth for a couple of days and were looking for somewhere nice to have a meal on our last night. On the off chance we enquired if a table for two. We were successful and enjoyed a lovely meal with lovely service. Special of the day was pan fried local sea bass.

What a delightful restaurant! Lovely, friendly staff and wonderful homecooked food, so tasty! The wine was good too. In fact, it was such a good experience we went twice in one weekend!! Highly recommend it!

This small family run trattoria provides home cooked traditional Italian dishes using fresh ingredients. Very friendly welcome and excellent unrushed service. Thoroughly recommended.

We turned up without a reservation but they managed to fit us in. The waiting staff were absolutely great, very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The quality of the food was great and I felt good value. I was surprised we had managed to get a table as most other customers seemed to be regulars. A hidden gem and will be back

We booked Ristorante Sapori before coming to Exmouth on holiday. The food was amazing. My husband had Carbonara and I had the king prawn and saffron risotto. The Focaccia was delicious and seasoned perfectly. I had a classic Italian tiramisu for desert. We enjoyed the food so much we booked in again. On our second visit we enjoyed melon and Parma ham (a special) spaghetti with pistachio and prosciutto and Bolognese Ragu (which is cooked for 13 hours). We shared profiteroles for pudding. The service is friendly and efficient, the food is stunning, worth every penny. If you like Italian food this place is a must visit!

What a lovely friendly restaurant welcomed by all staff and made to feel at ease and able to enjoy your evening. Food was amazing, served hot and well presented. Good choice on the menu and also specials of the day offered. Great atmosphere and tables nicely spaced. Located just off town square. We were only staying in Ex mouth for 1 night ( a Saturday ) so we hadn't booked for dinner. We couldn't get in to the first restaurant we tried but Ristorante Sapori fitted us in. I think we got really lucky. Started off with good chat with the serving staff followed by 2 better than ordinary Negronis. Plenty of choices on the menu and the food we ordered was way better than average Itlalian restaurant standard. We had a wonderful evening here.

Good fresh food, good portion and attentive service.

Lovely ambience in this recently newly decorated restaurant with an amazingly friendly, helpful and attentive waitress/owner who greeted and served me and family members on the two occasions that we ate there in the evenings last week and earlier this week.The food was very good but would have liked slightly larger portions and maybe a greater menu selection, namely my favourite Italian dishes of veal or chicken Milanese with spaghetti bolognese. Otherwise highly recommended.

A really lovely restaurant with authentic Italian dishes, all home cooked. We had a selection of 3 starters between 5 of us . The crispy squid with garlic mayonnaise was superb as was the focaccia. For my main I had the seafood risotto which was full of seafood flavour, only gained when a really good fish stock has been used and just the right texture . The other main courses that our party had were an excellent spaghetti ragu and a creamy mushroom pasta dish, and a very good chicken and pepperoni pizza . The wine we had was excellent. We were too full for puddings but the choices sounded very tempting The service was really friendly and quick and the restaurant felt relaxed . We would definitely come again, and we would also like to come for a few glasses of wine and some sharing boards as well as a full meal some time . I will recommend this to friends.

The lady owner was fantastic. I’m allergic to so many things that it makes eating out very stressful. She made my risotto without gluten, onions and garlic - it was tasty and fresh and the service was impeccable. I love local businesses that go the extra mile so much nicer than a chain. I also watched them look after an older gent, who was obv local and a regular. That speaks volumes. Thank you 🙏🏼

Abbiamo trovato questo ristorante per caso, ed abbiamo deciso di andare a mangiare una pizza italiana. L'impasto è molto buono e digeribile (sour dough) e devo dire che si mantiene croccante. Come antipasto abbiamo preso una bruschetta, che era buonissima e dei calamari che erano freschissimi. I proprietari sono molto simpatici e sanno come trattare un cliente. Grazie ragazzi, siete veramente in gamba !! Ci ritornerò molto volentieri, speriamo presto.

This restaurant is a must if you are visiting Exmouth. I visited with a dear friend 2 years ago eating there twice. This year it was our first meal on our 4 night break and also our last meal. The Penne pomodoro is the best that I have ever tasted. The lady that owns it is so friendly and welcoming, with an excellent memory as she remembered us from our previous visit. Nothing was too much trouble. If you are thinking of having a meal there, do no think too hard, as you will not be disappointed.

This restaurant is a little gem, that is probably overlooked by many people. The food is amazing. My friend & I visited 2 years ago & decided to return again last week & we weren't disappointed, so much so that we went back again for another visit 3 days later. The Bruschetta was our chosen starter followed by Mushroom Risotto & Lasagne. All delicious & the flavours unbelievable. There are no words to describe the cheesecake apart from "Best ever" Unfortunately, on our 2nd visit the cheesecake had been sold out!! Despite the disappointment, the Chocolate Brownie more than made up for it as a 2nd choice. The service & the friendliness of the staff made the whole experience very enjoyable & one that we will remember for a long time. We cannot praise it highly enough. Try it yourself we promise you won't be disappointed.

Had a lovely meal here a couple of weeks ago. We had homemade focaccia and bruschetta and calamari ….all absolutely delicious, the focaccia was light and crisp, and so flavourful. We also had lasagna and the seafood linguine. All dishes were up there with some of the best food I’ve had in Italy, it really was that authentic, with great depth of flavour and fresh-tasting. A previous reviewer mentioned how good the cheesecake was so of course we had to try that …. Well we weren’t disappointed! White chocolate and pistachio… wow it was soooo good! Also tried the tiramisu which was lovely. We will be back again soon to try some of the other dishes… maybe a pizza! Staff are so friendly and the service was spot on. We chatted to other customers as they were leaving, asking eachother what dishes we’d had and all saying how good everything was…. sign of a very good restaurant. :)

Saw the recent photos and reviews , so we had to book a table. It’s a cozy restaurant and perfect for couples ; very welcoming and friendly, with a relaxing atmosphere. Service was excellent and not rushed. Starter was bruschetta and fresh bread focaccia - Yum ! The Lasagna was wonderful, authentic, with that lovely freshly home made taste. The cold Peroni and red wine was superb , and to finish …the best cheesecake ever ! (White chocolate and pistachio) - wow ! So nice to get authentic home cooked Italian food…in Exmouth ! The host Elderina was lovely and deserves a special mention. A real gem that you will want to rebook as soon as possible . No doubt will soon be one of the very top restaurants in Exmouth. Look forward to trying the pizzas next , and other specialities .

We visited here on a Saturday night where our table of 13 was pre booked here. We were greeted by a lovely waitress and owner of the restaurant which was lovely. Our table was set up and the room was spacious- not being too close to other guests. As it was pre booked a deposit was taken as well as orders. The waitress confirmed with us of when we felt ready for starters which was great. Starters arrived and the portions were great. Tasty and generous portions given. Main courses were great and guests around the table all reported their meals were tasty. This included a lasagne, mushroom risotto, various pizzas and meat. Steak and lamb chops cooked to guests requested rareness which was lovely. Pizzas were great and we were told they are made with sour dough. Toppings good but one area I feel would improve on. Toppings were quite basic, vegetables like onions and peppers would enhance the flavour I feel on various pizzas offered on the menu, instead of having carrots and broccoli as a topping on the vegetarian pizza. Not seen a topping on a pizza like that before. But all in all it tasted delicious. Service was fantastic throughout the the host ensured we were accommodated throughout. A celebration cake was provided to the team discreetly and the host ensured the cake was brought out with music and candles. The experience felt really personal which we felt was important. Price wise- a little pricey we felt, steak being £31, lamb chops being £27 and a double shot of limoncello being £9. However I am unsure of their competitors pricing and am comparing this to London and Wiltshire pricing - where I am based. Overall experience was fantastic and we felt it deserved 5 stars due to the excellent service. Thankyou to the lovely team too!

Really great, authentic Italian food , very tasty! Super friendly service. Quite gutted we are not local as this would easily become a regular for all of us. Highly recommend the lasagne, enjoyed by 3 generations of our family and the pizza was very tasty too! Will definitely be back if we venture this way in the future.

Ristorante Sapori was able to accommodate a large groups of friends going to an early showing at the theatre, and managed this with a minimum of fuss and bother, even opening early to ensure we would be out in good time. The meals were all delicious, they were what we ordered, they arrived together and were all piping hot. Not always easy to manage. We will certainly be back, and I would like to go back in a smaller group to be able to enjoy their menu s little more. Thank you for a great evening meal!

We found this restaurant on TA and as it had good reviews thought we’d give it a try. Oh my goodness, I would travel from Salisbury again just for dinner here! The focaccia we had for starters was the best I have ever eaten. My daughter told me off for making ‘inappropriate’ noises with every bite. As recommended, I had lasagna and my daughter carbonara. Again fantastic. Desert was equally as good. The lady who served us was so friendly and helpful, other guests polite and a cheerful but peaceful atmosphere in the restaurant. I cannot praise this place enough and will definitely be returning as soon as I can. Thank you

We came out as a family to celebrate a birthday - we cook a lot at home, so when we head out we're hoping for a treat... and wow, Ristorante Sapori really delivered. Our daughters were able to share a portion of lasagne - they aren't yet big enough to manage a grown up portion and still have room for pudding... and I almost wished I'd ordered the same - it smelled delicious. My wife had the daily fish special - local turbot, while I opted to the other daily special - pork medallions... I particularly enjoyed the sauce with the pork. I'm reserving special praise for the pudding course though, and not mine - I very much enjoyed my tiramisu, but everyone else went for a variation on baked cheesecake... and This was fantastic, and fortunately the girls needed a little help finishing theirs.

Well just like home. For the first time in a very long time I had proper authentic Italian food. From the handmade focaccia to the lasagne, every part of the meal respected the rich but simple flavours of the italian tradition. As an Italian I can recommend this restaurant very highly and for those one who know me they ll know there are not many Italian restaurants I would say that about.

This is a gem in hiding. It’s amazing. The staff are so friendly and the food and wine is fabulous. We were late after a visit to the Pavilion and Exmouth seems to shut early!! We went in and asked whether we could possibly get food. Explained our predicament that we hadn’t eaten and the owner said of course. We couldn’t choose off the main menu as everything had been put away but she offered us lasagna. OMG I have never tasted anything like it in this country. My last experience of such food was in Italy. Well worth the visit.

Decided on an Italian dinner rather than one at the hotel. Monday evening after heavy rain and high winds during the day. Just my wife and I in the restaurant, so five stars out of reach for atmosphere. That said, super food, friendly hospitality. Felt very relaxed and at home. Superb food. Perfect..

A lovely little find, off the beaten track in Exmouth. It's an un-presuming restaurant, with a good focused menu. The food was good, and a good local clientele. The decor is a little plain, which gives a bit of a flat atmosphere. Quieter than it should be on a Saturday night, but that was to our benefit. Thank you for looking after us.

My partner and I treated a friend to a birthday night out recently (Dec '23). Good decision! We were welcomed warmly, and shown the menu of freshly prepared Italian based dishes. The food and house made sauces were simply presented, and really delicious! We were also impressed with the generous portion sizes, and reasonable value. A very 'Happy Birthday' was enjoyed by all, and we will be back soon! LH

Superb Absolutely fantastic meal. Having left it late to book a table on a Saturday they were happy to accomodate. Service was excellent everyone was friendly. The food was amazing and exceeded my expectations. Homemade baclava for pudding was out of this world.
