Fantastic food & friendly service!!

Absolutely disgusting!!!! Ordered spaghetti for my mum. After eating this she’s ended up with food poisoning!!!! She’s now in hospital and has been for 3 days still on going. I’ve rung the shop up to let them be aware of what’s happened I got called a liar saying the foods made “fresh the day before” so it isn’t fresh . The hospital have taken tests and said it was from the spaghetti !!!! After being called a liar she started shouting down the phone and ended it. I’ve arrived to speak to someone who would listen and explain that’s she’s been in hospital for 3 days there was no duty of care taken at all !!! The way this has been dealt with is appalling !!!! The girl on the phone started to shout In the shop terrible customer service !!! She also said I’ve lied about my mum being in hospital this is going to be taken further with the city of health and county this probably isn’t the first time this has happened !!!! She has E. coli etc from This do not order from this place unless you want to be in hospital for probably a week !!!

Had a lovely family meal for my sons 13th birthday this evening. They were very accommodating to a large get-together of 24 people. Everyone enjoyed their food. We had a range of pizzas and pasta, my Pescatora pizza was one of the best pizzas I've had. Definitely will be going back more often!

Great service, lovely pizza 🍕 really friendly staff, will hopefully use it as must as I can when in Honiton well worth going and checking out, definitely recommend it.

Our group of 3 ate in this evening. The food was really top quality and clearly prepared with a lot of care. The Americana Pizza had lovely fresh and crunchy peppers and jalapenos toppings with 'proper' chicken pieces. They even do a child sized pizza! The Penne Carbonara was "the best carbonara I have ever had" with perfect seasoning and a sauce that wasn't just full of cream. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quality Italian pizza and pasta restaurant.

Had takeaway twice whilst on holiday. Kids loved the pizzas and pasta was also delicious. Fantastic GF options - a real treat!

This was a nice tidy and clean restaurant. The young guy serving was very helpful and polite. Pizza nice flavour but extremely oily / greasy. Because of that I couldn’t eat it all - unusual for me! A bit of a shame. Wouldn’t go back for that reason unfortunately.

Fresh ingredients fresh dough pizza and pastas are very tasty, they serve mostly Italian food, the hygiene is excellent and very reasonable prices for proper decent food that isn't filled with a load of junk and additives and isn't dripping in grease.

We regularly purchase a delivery from Bella. Pizzas and pastas are lovely. Good value for money and delivery always on time.

On our long drive home we popped in for a quick meal and we’re greeted on Tuesday evening by the most kind and friendly hostess! We had lovely pizzas , salad and garlic bread. We were even provided some warm homemade bread that was DELICIOUS! Reasonably priced and very clean!

I recently visited Bella Pizza and I must say my overall experience was first class! I was served by a lovely lady called Beth and she always had a smile on her face which was lovely to see. The food was exceptional and would fully recommend to anyone!

Was passing through with a friend, a customer was leaving with a takeaway, said he used it often and it was superb, so in we went, I had the bolognaise, friend had a pizza, he said it was the best he,d had ! mine was lovely, we shared a garlic bread/cheese, onion rings, 2 glasses of wine, coffee,s, the staff were lovely even put the heating up for us, we will be back again very soon 10/10 it made our stop off !

Called booked a table and was told they cater for gluten free. Turned on the night ordered drinks then went to order food and they didn't have any gluten free options as they had ran out.!!!

Visited a few times now with family and enjoyed the food every time! Even when staff are busy they are very friendly, polite and look after you. Thanks!

Take away order. We ordered 2 pizzas and a portion of chips. Both pizzas over cooked,topping separated from the base,not cut properly very poor! Chips stale and hard,like last nights. We have enjoyed food from here in the past but I am afraid this was not £26 well spent so our feet will do the talking.

Gorgeous food, we had 4 dishes and 2 starters. Really big portions and we’re provided with takeaway boxes for the left overs we couldn’t eat. Reasonable price, house wine £14 a bottle so reasonable for restaurant. We were looked after by Beth who was fantastic, she really made us welcome and had fun with the kids. Kids review is 4 stars and a group hug 👍🏻👍🏻

Fantastic hot food, and great service!

Called at 7:45pm, asked for 1 small and 1 large pizza, asked for price.. lady ‘couldn’t tell me until she had postcode’… okayyyy. Gave postcode and payment details, again asked for price, £23 for 2 pizzas… ok fine, how long will the be - at least an hour..? All the while been on hold twice for no reason that was explained and quite possibly the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. Nobody wants to work a Saturday night but Jesus the odd please and thank you wouldn’t go amiss sweetheart. Wouldn’t recommend or bother with again. Went to the chippy instead and will take my business there in future.

Friendly service and really good pizza and pasta with good gluten-free options for mains and desserts. Don’t be put off by the rather simple decor - it’s like being in a family restaurant on the continent where the food is the important thing!

Stopped off in Honiton looking for a place to eat that was open and had availability. First impressions was that it would not be a great place as only one other couple in and looked quite basic.Does a good take away trade and the pizzas were delicious and much better than some popular pizza chains.Were able to take the left over garlic bread in a takeaway box for later.

Excellent small & justifiably busy restaurant. Home cooked pizzas and pasta. Noticeably above average. Raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake particularly good. Friendly and efficient staff

We went here last week as the reviews not too bad on here, I can honestly say the Pizza's were not great. The base is like Cardboard and are ready made. The toppings weren't tasty either. As for the service, only 3 out of 6 or 7 tables were taken and it was very slow. I wont be rushing back that's for sure. We were all disappointed(even the kids).

Excellent pizza and pasta dishes plus very good nachos which we shared as a starter. Lovely little restaurant in a cafe style, highly recommended.

Disappointing… not a great menu choice - pizza mediocre had much better elsewhere. Too greasy for us and very thin with upturned edges No atmosphere. No cold beers despite it being 31 degrees outside that day. Poor choice of beer too. Would not return.

Orders 2 pizzas for delivery, came in good time and was amazing. I had Pizza Carne Mista, good amount of cheese and good amount of toppings not to heavy or too rich. My wife had Pizza Bella BBQ on Gluten free and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would also recommend getting the garlic dip. We were really happy they had a gluten free options as not everywhere does. I would really recommend, well worth the money.

Absolutely amazing food, arrives promptly and hot, the sauce for the pizza is sensational better than anything I have ever had, If you are ever in this part of the world please use these guys.

Have used Bella Pizza for Takeaway many times but have recently decided that we aren’t going to use them anymore. Very average pizza, often burnt on the bottom or soggy at times...once I ordered a pizza from there where they forgot to put cheese on top, was just purée with the topping...really wasn’t great. The cheesecake is nice...the pasta dishes are also quite nice but nothing you couldn’t just do at home. Very overpriced for what you get...won’t be ordering from you guys anymore...sorry.

Popped in here for a mid week evening meal. Staff were very helpful and the food was a bit pricey but extremely tasty. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. My only adverse comment is that it didn't have much atmosphere and nothing to identify it as an Italian restaurant. A little too clinical perhaps.

The pizzas were simply fantastic with loads of cheese and the service was delightful. Not Italian operated but it really hits the spot.

Myself and my boyfriends family stopped off here Sunday evening for dinner. I must say the service was amazing considering there was only 1 waitress, she did an amazing job and so did the chefs. The food was amazing, I'd definitely come back here again. For those worrying about Covid all the tables are sparce to ensure social distancing is in place.

Fantastic pizza, absolutely delicious pasta, and the only place in Honiton that delivers.

Ate in with my family and had to take a second mortgage out to pay the bill, unimaginative pizza toppings on a menu that hasn't changed since they opened a few years ago. Home delivery always ends up with the pizza toppings stuck to the top of the box.....very greasy and disappointing. Get some imagination and drop the prices and more people will order from you!

We went to Bella pizza last night and we are all incredibly happy we did. We were originally eating nearby where we were staying but got let down incredibly badly by Lakeside Manor Hotel. Bella pizza however came to the rescue and despite being incredibly busy, managed to accommodate us whilst also maintaining all correct social distancing and cleaning requirements. The food and service were excellent and I couldn’t recommend them enough. Special thanks to Zara for looking after us and the kind family who gave us their table.

This by far was one the most tastiest pizza’s if not THE most tastiest and freshest pizza’s I’ve had will most definitely order again when I’m back down this way A+++++

Staying at the Premier Inn in Honiton, with no restaurant open, we picked the only food delivery service in town for our first evening. There was no problem placing and paying for our order, and the food was delivered to reception within the expected 45 minutes.All the food was tasty and pizza and chips were nice and hot. We had a 14" Four Seasons pizza, with one portion of delicious "proper" chips which was ample for two, a mixed salad and a couple of dipping sauces. Total cost was £19.40 which we found very reasonable when delivery is included.

Had a party of 28. The Food was fantastic and served quickly for a party our size.

If you haven't eaten from this place, you're missing out! Love it!

Let's face it there's not a lot of takeaways in Honiton. If you really want a delivery, it's not that bad. Personally I always ask for half as much cheese as they were going to put on and I still always get too much. Hubby likes the excessive cheese situation and it doesn't bother him. The bases don't really taste of much. Just hard dough. It's greasy, you feel a bit sick after but it's not horrible by any means. Don't go rogue and order pasta- we've tried and the spag bol was literally like opening dog food.

Pretty good pizzas. Perhaps a tad pricey and each of the five we ordered had a burnt black edge. I've had plenty of pizzas from s traditional oven so know that this is avoidable. Service was fair and we enjoyed our evening.

Avoid if your looking for a traditional Pizzas, however ideal for fast food.

Lady on the phone didn’t have a clue what she was talking about. Two separate dishes listed on the menu... peppered mushrooms, starterCreamy Garlic mushrooms , extra. Different prices, however upon asking for garlic mushrooms we were told they were already cooked as one batch of peppered mushrooms, and they couldn’t possibly do garlic ones. After pointing out they were on the menu she said “well they have pepper in” “and some garlic” ! Honestly the slop that arrived tasted of neither thing. All of the dishes were sloppy, flavourless and greasy. Couldn’t get a worse meal. Customer service shocking, menu knowledge awful, food quality ,shocking. Will never go back.

Lovely friendly staff, couldn't have been nicer infact. Pizza base didn't seem as though it was freshly made unfortunately but plenty of topping and children's portion were very generous

Recently had take away pizza and other side dishes from Bella Pizza in Honiton and was impressed by the quality of the food. We live locally so had the food delivered, it was really good quality, everyone enjoyed the pizza and the side dishes were just as good. Service from initial phone call to delivery was great, very friendly staff. Will definitely be using Bella Pizza again.

We nearly didn't go to this restaurant, largely thanks to the last poor review, but we booked last minute and then had a very good pizza with a very good house white wine and although the service WAS very slow and the phone orders seem to take priority over customers in the restaurant (?) the waitress was lovely, and very apologetic. Good feel in the restaurant itself - I would eat here again.

Great food very tasty and homemade !

I can't really see how this place has stayed open. Honiton is ripe for a good quality Italian restaurant, but we have been twice - we went a second time because we thought the first must have been an aberration - but we won't go back. First time waited one hour for simple pizzas, and they got the order wrong. Second time similar and pizza did not seem fresh. Need to up their game.

We had takeaway pizza and it was amazing! We’ve just moved here recently and was giving up hope for good a takeaway in Honiton. We will be regulars here. The garlic bread was really nice as well. It’s clean in there and the staff are friendly. Big thumbs up from us! Oh they deliver too!!! Bonus.

Great place to stop for a quiet evening meal. The service is polite and helpful and not intrusive. They were serving a lot of deliveries but we were the only ones in the restaurant and they were great. Food was fantastic. Good quality. Spaghetti bologna ise was extremely tasty. The chocolate brownies were delicious. Very clean. Not somewhere for a very special occasion but great for good meal out.

you can always expect the best from bella pizza, every order has always been perfectly cooked and of top grade food. i often recommend then. the combi kebab is a mix of meat served with seperate pittas and sauce tubs so you can make your kebabs how you like plus theres plenty left for the next day. really highly recommended A++++

Terrible customer service, ordered 3 items of soft drinks with food order, son took delivery as I was upstairs, no soft drinks delivered, rang straight away to query, told they would contact driver, I rang back again after 1 hour to be told the driver had delivered it, after a discussion was told they would re deliver the missing items - no delivery. Food ya excellent here and we use them frequently, however will not use again so their loss!

ordered from Bella pizza since it opened always enjoyed it and tipped the drivers very well placed my order tonight at 11:30 got a delivery time of 12:40 12:55 still no delivery rang up Bella pizza a guy answers says oh sorry the chefs haven’t looked at your order we have received it but they haven’t bothered to look at the just eat order i was like oh right we’ll what’s going to happen now and the guy says we’ll it’ll be 25 min before we can get another one to you so your talking an hour and half after I ordered so I told him I wasn’t happy and his reply was well what do you want me to do about it if you don’t want it ring just eat ! absolute disgrace ordered from them for years and that’s how they speak to people

We found this restaurant by accident while looking for somewhere to eat on a Monday evening. We had 2 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes (family of 4). We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and had to take a few slices home.

Pretty sure these pizzas were from the freezer despite being advertised as home made. Not a great experience.

we ordered coleslaw and when it came it looked like it had never seen a fridge and was all separated. the pizza and cheesy chips were good though.
