Always go out of my way to stop and visit Woodsys when I’m visiting Devon on holiday. Jeremy is a genius in creating new amazing gems every year. Now he has his salad and burger bar too which he serves his own produced burgers and sausages, superbly smokey flavour from the char grill. Please if you stop by don’t just have a bite to eat! This guy has won many county show prizes for his ciders and now also has his own wines, cured meats and even home smoked cheeses and fish. There is more to this little village shop than you will ever know. Owners Jeremy and Alison are great hosts.

Always welcoming and a favourite café when visiting Sidmouth. Excellent coffees and hearty soup of the day. Generous bowl full. Bright and big windows on a corner position for people watching. Dailly newspapers. Doggy friendly. 🇬🇧🇳🇿

Gina's is the best restaurant in the South West (personal opinion, I've been coming here for years!), and most definitely The Place to eat in Beer. A family owned restaurant serving up brilliant Italian and Thai dishes, there's something for everyone here. The pizzas, calzones and tiramisu are especially excellent. Booking is recommended, this popular place gets busy most evenings. If you're in the area, get to Gina's for a relaxing evening in a friendly establishment offering great food!

Clean, well presented, really Friendly staff with a good of drinks, ice creams and cakes. I went with a luxury hot chocolate and marshmallow cake, my daughter had blueberry cheesecake and milkshake made with her choice of fresh ice cream made on the premises snd my boring husband had a pot of tea, which he topped off with a not so boring banana cake. It was all delicious and the best find of the day
