The Cheeseboard in East Devon

Whenever in Sidmouth I always visit The Cheeseboard. There is a wide range of cheeses with the staff being very knowledgeable and offer expert advice. I always come away with a whole range of cheeses and always ensure that I have a good wedge of Devon Blue. As a bonus, having tried a range of cheeses, I know what to go for when ordering online.

There are some fantastic cheeses in this shop, some we have heard of and others that we have still to try. Every one we have had has been great, so the advice of the staff is really appreciated and accurate!

This is a wonderful shop with a great choice of cheeses, quiches, pies and salads along with ham on the bone. There is also a excellent selection of Cook frozen meals. On a recent holiday at Littlecourt Cottages in April we bought all our lunches and evening meals here and stocked up with a few to take home.

Friendly and professional, with a huge range of regional cheeses (as well as some old favourites from wider afield), all in good condition. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, so recommendations are spot on.

Super friendly service and a lovely selection of cheese and deli items. The lady was really helpful in suggesting some local cheese. We've (almost) eaten it all and it was all delicious. Well worth a stop if you like your cheese. We're really pleased we found this place. A selection of delicious cheese eaten al fresco on the sea front. What could be better.

Wonderful choices of excellent cheeses and great service! Lots of good information from staff and good selection of biscuits, breads and other things make it a great place to pick up picnic lunches and snacks.

There is no doubt the cheese was good and the slither of quiche tasty but the prices were extortionate. We could have eaten much better in any of ten local cafes or pubs for the same price. Wont be going back.
