Pizza Amore in East Devon

Delicious fresh pizza, and offer home delivery, but quite expensive. The make your own is quite good value. Usually quick delivery. Quite traditional, thin crust, nice tomato sauce and not swimming in oily cheese. Just the right balance

I tried many pizza places around and none were nice-just greasy and cheap. But then I found this place and oh my-what an amazing pizza! It’s like a real Italian pizza. We also tried chicken fillets and chips and also very tasty and fresh. Delivery is always on time and prices very reasonable. I would definitely recommend it! It’s our favourite take away at the moment.

I have ordered a number of times and always had a great meal. The prices are good and the pizza is very nice, the base is good and the pizza seems to me to be more traditional. If you want real pizza this is the best place to order from in the Feniton, Honiton, Ottery area and I would not order from anywhere else again. There is a pizza place in the village I live in and it is nowhere near as good and I never order from there anymore. Oh did I say they also deliver as well?!?

We’ve ordered from here a number of times and they never fail or disappoint but this time we had the added pressure of the family visit... deliberated on all of the takeaways and set on Pizza Amore eventually. One aunt who is an incredibly fussy eater was able to find something to eat... and enjoyed it! The other aunt said it was quite possibly the best pizza she has had in her life. We’ve now got our favourites and they’re never shy on the toppings. You generally get your money’s worth when ordering from here. Top Tip: Not so great the morning after so eat it all at once!

Beyond terrible. This is no way an “Italian pizza restaurant”. I have been to Italy 20+ time’s and experienced real Italian pizza. The best comparison to this is a cheap knockoff pizza that you can purchase at your local kebab establishment. The kind you only enjoy when you are drunk and unable to taste disappointment. I ordered Pepperoni. This is not pepperoni but a thick sausage like chorizo. Sauce is bland and tasteless. This is a prime example of a restaurant that relays on quantity over quality. Will not be ordering again and I recommend you do not. If you visit Ottery... Save the extortionate cost of these low quality rip off pizzas and walk down the road to Sainsbury’s.

Have ordered lots of times from Pizza Amore and not only are the pizzas amazing but they arrive just 10-15 minutes after I’ve phoned the order in. So lucky to have them in Ottery!

So yummy!! Fresh and tasted better than dominoes and pizza hut put together. Thank you. 15 minutes later and was ready after ordering. 5 stars well deserved

Brilliant pizzeria! They really set themselves apart through the freshness of their ingredients and the authenticity of their pizzas. By far our favourite takeaway!! Friendly service and they will even go the extra mile to remember you and your order, could not recommend more!!

Visited with friends and order two pizzas, didn't take long to cook and absolutely delicious. Cheaper than a visit to places like Dominos and Pizza Hut and with a more authentic experience. Good selection of options on menu (including a variety of sides). The ingredients used are excellent and great taste for both pizzas. Me and my friends throughly enjoyed our meals. I reheated half my pizza the next day and still tasted great after reheating. Will definitely visit again soon to try some more of their menu.

On Tar Barrel Night (busiest night of the year) they let us stay in after closing the doors and were very friendly - my first pizza parlour lock-in! Delicious pizza and they let me bring my pint in with me.

We had a takeaway pizza which cost just over £9 per pizza. It OK, but tasted a bit bland and the pizza base could have been crispier as it was only just cooked. Would be great if you could see the dough being worked and knew that it was fresh and if they could go for it with more intense flavours. Nothing nicer than a homemade tomato sauce, for example. Just something a bit different to make this worth the drive to have a pizza. Nice to have a pizza takeaway in Ottery.
