Well priced, good portions and were very accommodating with special requests regarding an allergy. We will be back for more!

It's a Wetherspoons! It's big..modern and unlike a previous review is clean! No sticky floors! You can't beat these pubs for value for money.... The food is basic but tasty and hot! Lovely friendly staff too

Fow a wetherspoon. Was well impressed . Good selection of beers, good ambience. The bar got a bit crowded on the Friday night, but the staff did their best to serve all.. We enjoyed so much, went back Saturday morning for a breakfast. Very nice ! Probably one of the better experiences of a wetherspoon we've had

We were a group of 12 that had booked a table. We were shown to the table but were told that we couldn't have pizza because the pizza oven was broken. I ordered my drink at the bar and ordered the carvery (you pay extra for 3 pigs in blankets). Staff were friendly and polite. The roast meats looked OK, I had gammon and turkey. The veg was adequate, the peas were starting to brown under the heat lamps. There was plenty of veg choices. The gravy was not next to the veg at the end of the food run but on a completely different counter which was a bit confusing. Overall the food was OK, it was a good price.

Received parking fine £60.00 - i did not see any signs to advise that it was chargeable. I live in Bicester and have visited the acorn quite a few times and have never paid to park?? Why would you charge to park if your eating / drinking - like the Premier Inns customers should advise there reg number at time of ordering with you so this DOES NOT Happen. Puts me off coming again if honest.

Fantastic venue LOVE this pub with its delicious food, delightful surroundings and charming staff. Cant fault it in any way.

Sat in conservatory, but overall cleanliness was not adequate and there were ants and flies in the plants. The food was very good and staff very pleasant but due to cleanliness will not be going again.

Solo visita si es tu último recurso. Fuimos allí recientemente para una comida de última hora de la tarde para dos, pedido de la mesa que era agradable y tenía que volver a pedir la mitad de lo que queríamos ya que se habían agotado. Esto fue al principio del fin de semana de Pascua, así que supongo que una entrega no se habría hecho en al menos 3 días. Lo que pedimos vino y parte de lo cual faltaba ya que no fue puesto por nuestro servidor y lo que obtuvimos fue mediocre. Para un lugar tan agradable es una pena que se arruinó por esta experiencia.

The food was brought out promptly and it was really fresh. Any other items we wanted the staff accommodated for and were really friendly. Maria served us and she was so lovely and friendly. And the chef Apu was absolutely wonderful and the food was cooked perfectly.

Friendly and helpful staff, however we were very disappointed with the tasteless and mediocre food! We have memories of lovely evenings spent eating at The Firecrest, it is certainly not the same now.

Food was nice and food areas looked clean and tidy. However the restaurant seating area looked tired and a bit grubby. Needs a good clean and lick of paint.

Lovely people, always friendly and happy. Food is tasty and not expensive. They also make the best desserts! Will be back soon

Sunday stopover with meal deal, restaurant virtually empty, waited 5 minutes until guy appeared behind the bar and shouted to bring a menu to the bar and he would advise what was available, as they had no one who could use a grille most of the menu was off, starters were an overcooked mess, lasagna was cold slop with tiny salad, meat pie was inedible with chips like shrapnel, advised to complain to check in desk but the check in guy was so miserable we didn’t bother. Advise to avoid all the Epsom premier inns as they are all terrible, rooms and restaurants. Holiday inn from now on
