The manager was unprofessional on arrival talks rude Won't be coming back Wr drove 45 mins with 2 kids only to be turned away on a quiet evening as we were 10 mins late and also I was greeted with yes my friend!!??he was racist rude and very very unprofessional

horrible, disgusting service, didn't accept code which was 100% on offer as we had tried with multiple different vouchers, accounts and phones. they were snarky and cheeky, trying to charge a service charge for 7+ adults, where there were in-fact only 5 adults & 4 teenagers. We knew they could offer the vouchers manually, yet they denied this and only offered 10%. server and worker was rude, and got all grumpy and moody when we asked for help! Ah and, we all asked to pay separately, which we had done many times at different Pizza Express locations, they denied and persisted that this was not possible, utter lies! Rest assured we will NEVER be going back. Such a shame too because the actual service station is amazing!

What a wonderful pub and restaurant. From the time we arrived we had excellent service and delicious food. It was really busy, as it was Easter Sunday, but we could not fault the attention we received. The starters and Sunday roast were fantastic. All of the staff were very friendly and the pub had a great atmosphere.

I went with family for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised that they let dogs inside. The cooked breakfast was perfectly cooked and very nice too. The staff are very friendly and polite. The establishment was very clean and is worth a visit.

Having frequented the frogshole over the Xmas period I have to take my hat off to Vania (the manager) and the whole team. They had the busiest time ever and I mean busy and they all managed to serve everyone with a big smile and do a grand job it was exceptional I don't how they managed it but they did. We also for the first time tried their Xmas dinner WOW what a day they put on the food was top class and the service was something you would expect from a high-class restaurant. Absolutely outstanding and 10/10 for doing so on Xmas day. We Will definitely give it a wee go next year, brilliant......to Vania, Shannon, Cherise, Evan, Kieran, Stefano, and all the kitchen staff and runners Muchos gracious have happy New Year and well done.

Great pub with a wonderful friendly atmosphere. With good food and beer. I have lived in the village for 40 years and can truly say that over the last few years the pub is the best it has ever been.

Pubs ok waited 90 minutes for our meal as they did not sent through to kitchen not the first time had to wait for food no discount offered

Really enjoyed our late lunch at Savill Garden, with great service from the very amenable staff, followed by a lovely springtime walk in the gardens.

Well located coffee shop in the Didcot orchard centre. Lots of seating so plenty of space to relax with a coffee. Service is generally ok apart from one of the older staff members, maybe the manager? who is often engaging with conversation with colleagues rather than focusing on the customer. Would be great if the services steps a bit which previously was excellent

What a lovely meal we had! Beautiful day , outside with kids playing in the small kids area. Food was good, a bit slow but was all good. Garden was full as well. We came this past Friday 25th April, we had chicken Caesar, fish n chips and kids burger all lovely. We have been served from a manager we didn’t get his name . We will be back! Thank you

Can't believe our local is closing. There is nowhere else to go that doesn't require driving. Such a shame. Its always busy there and the food is very good.

We always have a good experience at Hope and Bear. The staff are friendly, it's a lovely atmosphere and the food's great.

I used to love coming here for breakfast or lunch but the past year it has definitely gone downhill, I’m sad to say. Used to love the full English breakfast but this is no longer on the menu. The paninis and salads are overpriced and not very good quality. My Cappuccino was almost cold today. Even the ice cream wasn’t great! I don’t know what happened here, maybe a change in management but I won’t be returning
