I had the bacon and mushroom brioche. To die for, as good as I would make at home. Loaded with plenty of bacon and mushrooms, a struggle to finish. I highly recommend a visit to this lovely cafe. Its also dog friendly which is a bonus as they are also allowed inside. Lovely helpful friendly staff, very clean too.

The best bacon buttie I've ever tasted. Baywatch on the Beach, Duver Sands. The bacon brioche is amazing. The sweetness of the bap and the saltiness of the bacon takes this simple snack to another level. Well worth the drive.

We ordered halloumi salad which was bland, as well as Garlic prawns which the chef hadn't even cleaned before cooking. When we complained about this he told me that he couldn't clean them as they'd shrink and dismissed, he was then rude to my aunt as she complained afterwards. No suggestion of remaking the dish or a refund, just told we could clean them if we didn't want to eat the poo in the prawns intestines.

Lovely little cafe, deserving of a great review. Surprised to see some low scores recently. We visited last week - it was our third year in a row and it was nice to see the place opened up and not just serving through the window. A great menu with tasty, fresh sandwiches etc. and not too expensive considering how much places seem to be charging these days!

I would have given this cafe a 4.5 out of five had it not been for two things. First things first very friendly team here was greeted with smiles and a feeling of warmth. The menu was varied and the prawn snd avocado sandwich I ordered was really top notch the prawns fresh and sweet the avocado was just perfectly ripe in nice slices and the granary bread it was served in was fresh nutty and delicious. My reasons for dropping the score was firstly the price of the sandwich £12.95 I sat at a table that had seen better days and looked old and not quite matching the quality of the sandwich. The sandwich came with a scattering of salted crisps which tasted a little stale. I think that the Baywatch should smarten itself up a bit if they wish to charge those sorts of prices I mean even paint the tables to hide their battle scars would help. In nicer surroundings the sandwich would have scored much higher because it was delicious.

If you want a really tasty chicken burger then this is the place to go. They also do really good chips, not your typical fast food ones.Probably the only gripe is that they because they haven’t opened up inside there is only one service till. So the queues can get quite long. It would be a good idea if they opened up a separate one so that you don’t have to wait so long to get served, or maybe open their other little hut just for people ordering ice creams.

We have eaten here once before this particular visit. Food was lovely, but very overpriced. This particular visit we seemed to have spent alot more than our previous visit, even though it was the same food, I asked the waitress if we could double check our order and she was happy to get the receipt and check. I noticed straight away we had been charged twice for one our meals and informed the waitress. The owner then piped up in the background that we definitely asked for 2 ordered of this meal. To which I responded, that we hadn't. He then got super rude and shouting that I was wrong and that we had ordered 2. I told him to to stop shouting at me and that he was being incredibly rude, Telling me what I had or hadn't ordered. Part of me wanted to sack it in there and then and ask for all my money back and I probably would have if I didn't have 2 small children to feed. The waitress was super apologetic and quite frankly I feel sorry for the staff if they have to work with that man. His attitude alone, I'll take a picnic to the beach next time.

I had the garlic prawn, with salad (yes fresh, beautiful salad with rocket!!) and fries with rock salt (yes, rock salt .... not from a fish and chip through it every where ). The beverage choice is outstanding, it includes champagne!!Don’t miss this little piece of heaven.

We visited Baywatch On The Beach last year and loved it, nice team and good simple food. We returned this year and REALLY looked forward to visiting Baywatch and having dinner whilst looking out at the sea. We were SO disappointed. Regardless of covid, we waiting 5 mins for our G&Ts whilst the chap spent more time kissing his girl friend than making our drinks, it was a little awkward as we stood in the queue waiting. The food was then terrible, we have moules which were over priced and dry - they were terrible quality. The chef had not washed them so they were full of grit. We couldn't complain as the owners had left by this point in their Maserati and Range Rover... I guess this is where my money had gone.... so disappointed.

Inside there were plenty of seating areas so in bad weather you could still enjoy the food and views. I ask what was happening and the waitress said she would find out but never returned. Another 10 minutes and the food arrived. We all had fish and chip which was a bad decision. Greasy plates. The fish wasn't cod or haddock but some cheap substitute. The batter was hard and when you opened it up there was very little fish. The fries (not chips) came in a bucket with a broken handle. It’s not the cafe’s fault that the St Helens beach gets infested with flys and wasps (which eventually drove us away). It’s not the cafe’s fault that the beach itself is overcrowded and not exactly picturesque. It’s not even the cafe’s fault that (mainly 4x4) cars constantly drive directly between the main door and the outside tables, pumping exhaust fumes into diners. But the prices are ridiculous, the tables outside are scruffy and dirty (given the prices they could definitely afford being looked after with polish and woodstain) and the staff are just plain rude. The coffees were nice, but the chips were not worth the cost, and man behind the counter (who seemed to be in charge) clearly just doesn’t like people. What a waste of a good location.

Beautiful location but you will pay high prices for it. We were on a family holiday and called in here hoping to have a meal one evening but it was so expensive for what it was. we refused to pay the prices because we felt we were being ripped off. The building lookslike a glorified shed and at night it is very unappealling as no effort has been made to pretty up the outside i.e some outside lights would have made the world of difference or some appropriate music. This place is making its money based on its location right by the sea the public toilets are right next door and smelt really bad when we were there. The customer service we experienced was also lacking. I would not recommend.

It's a seaside upmarket cafe in a great location. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I went for a cooked breakfast and paid under £10 for breakfast and a drink, which is a fair price given the view/location. Others around me were having drinks, bacon rolls etc and all seemed very happy. This place gets some polarised reviews. I think it struggles because it understandably is trying to trade long hours and cater for different tastes/needs. There's drinks, snacks, icecreams and more simple daytime meals (although there's with a campsite in walking distance where some won't want to pay these prices and would prefer a greasy spoon cafe). And then in the evening it wants to transition to be a more upmarket dining experience. But certainly i'm happy to recommend it during the day for drinks, breakfasts and light lunches - nice setting, views and tranquility.

We arrived at 5:15pm to be told the restaurant was closed until 5:30pm and fully booked anyway. But we could eat outside, which was fine given it was a lovely evening. Couldn’t help but notice that plenty of other people got a table indoors without a reservation though.

Restaurant with fantastic view! Can sit outside, but when gets busy they don’t want to serve outside. Had a crab and lobster burger and chips, onion rings. Bit bland but good quality and quick service. Would go again and have something else off the menu. Loved the view!

Booked on the spur of the moment. Rung ahead and reserved a table for 2. No parking outside restaurant but plenty of parking in car park, free after 6pm. Overlooks the bay and lovely views. Restaurant nice and informal, smart shorts and t shirt no problem. Well behaved dogs allowed. Small but yummy menu choices, fish, chicken, steak, burgers, veggie so something to suit most palates. Very efficient and friendly service. Outside seating available too. Serves alcohol. Reasonably priced, clean, great food, great service and views. Will definitely visit again.

We Called in here on the way home for some food, which was beautiful unfortunately the service we had from the older gentleman who I think was the manager or owner was the biggest dissapoinment. He was rude and very abrupt and took other people's orders who came in after us first. If it wasn't due to the fact we had a very hungry 21 month old we would have walked out, I have never felt so uncomfortable in a place before truly spoilt our experience.

What a great find this cafe is. It has great food well cooked and reasonable priced. No need to dress up this cafe has a relaxed environment to ensure all can enjoy. I ordered sea bass with leeks, beetroot crisps and fries which was lovely not huge portions but presented well on the plate. The staff welcomed us they were keen to offer recommendations on specials. I enquired about allergens the waiter checked with the chef to ensure I was clear on the ingredients within the dishes on the menu. Well done to you all. Last but by no means least I must mention the view WOW WOW go and see for yourselves you won't be disappointed!!

15 minutes standing in a queue to get a take away coffee, 5 minutes whilst it was made, then the card machine broke, they made us wait a further 5 minutes whilst the machine restarted.

Although the location is amazing and we have been here several times over the years to day was just awful. We popped in at 4.45pm just for a drink.

Lovely shiny coffee machine but dont think any staff are barista trained. Average at best. I'll try again next year.

A bowl of moules with chips and a cider is a great lunch for two.....the quantity of mussels was sufficient to satisfy both of us! A great place to sit outside by the beach and watch the boats passing

We had a super Sunday lunch here after strolling through the botanical gardens. the chef Michael Jackson (yes, really!) cooked a delicious roast beef for my husband & did a special sea bass for me. Very attentive service from friendly staff & really good wine by the glass in pleasant surroundings, with the sun streaming into the restaurant.

Went on a Sunday before going to the ciniworld on the complex. Waited 40 minutes for two pizza and 2 garlic bread with cheese. Pizza turned up 1st ( stone cold ) followed by starters 10 minutes later ( stone cold ) and I had encouraged the other two members of the party to eat at pizza hut because of my experience on the mainland. Obviously this was a bad idea , I would have thought as a chain they would all be the same or similar, how wrong was I. DONT waste your money or your time in this place , you'd probably find a hotter and more nutritional meal in a McDonald's waste food bin.

Popped in for a quick lunch with a toddler and unfortunately the experience was very poor. Fish and chips were inedible - dripping in grease. Roasted veg panini, asked to be warmed and came back deconstructed and floppy. Every coffee cup was dirty and cutlery was grubby too. Thankfully they offered a refund but didn’t seem to want to listen to why we were unhappy - a big shame as sister store in Lake is always good.

Popped by for a Hot Drink & Snack after walking the dog on the beach. Very friendly staff, very welcoming and nice hot drinks which were reasonably priced for the size of the mugs. We definitely recommend visiting.
