I had the mushroom burger, and I wanted to share a word of warning: the American cheese used is vegan. It’s a flavor that I—and most people I know—haven’t quite acquired. It would be helpful to mention this on the menu, so customers have the option to choose a different cheese. The taste is quite overpowering and unfortunately makes the meal taste like yeasty feet.

This is a fantastic pub with a wonderful atmosphere and a beautiful beer garden. Their sandwiches and pizzas are excellent, and the staff are very friendly. There's even a separate entrance to the beer garden, which is handy for bringing your bike in.

My wife and I have been trying out local restaurants for several years now. This weekend we finally made our way to The Astor Grill at Cliveden House. We've had a few of those small starters, my wife had the beef rib and I had the sirloin on the bone We were bitterly disappointed. The food is not worth the high price tag. The steak was overcooked, tough, and some of the sides were a bit bland. There are several Michelin Star places in the area for a much more better value. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back. However, despite the food, the staff were lovely.

They refused to serve me a glass of water so I could take my medication when I was having a medical emergency . They said I'd have to buy a bottle of water instead. Server seemed more bothered by my interrupting her chatting than the fact I needed help. I've bought from them before but never will again after this.

Called here as on a rugby tour in the area and was looking for Sunday lunch , we got a table and pub was nice welcoming our server was great. Ordered Sunday lunch (beef) and wish I’d never bothered if I’m honest meat was very undercooked and still like red jelly put me straight off , veg was served in a soup bowl for 3 people 3 dinners a portion of chips and 4 drinks nearly £100 and left hungry as Sunday lunch was very poor

We occasionally pop in to the crocus cafe at Dorney court and previously the experience is positive. However , we went for lunch today and ordered the new salad dishes from the menu. This was a mistake. I had something called a chickadilly salad which is honestly the worst dish I have ever tasted in any restaurant. It was described as chicken and cauliflower on a bed of spinach and new potatoes with a picallili mayo. I counted 4 small pieces of chicken and a few florets of cauliflower. New potatoes were fine but the spinach was smothered in mayo. About half a jar of mayo! After few bites it makes you feel like you want to vomit. Mayo is a garnish , not a main but I couldn’t eat any of it the taste of mayo was overwhelming . Don’t order it. You’ll waste you money. Stick with the basics like jacket potato or sandwich. Couple that with the fact it took 35 minutes to arrive it was a terrible performance. What a shame. One of my favourite places to go for a coffee has been demoted to non league and I won’t be going back any time soon.

Enjoyed a recent visit for a late lunch on Monday. 33% off food! The ambience, service and food were all good. Only short of 5 stars as my sirloin steak could have been a bit more tender and nearer medium rare but still very tasty with great accompaniments.
