Visited today, had lovely food, great service, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, will definitely be back 🙂

We booked a table for 2pm the service was terrible the staff incompetent a very badly run pub no reason for posting this but no a great experience recommend try somewhere else

Visited here for Sunday lunch. Was welcomed as we entered and shown to our table. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and went out of her way every 15 mins or so to make sure we were happy and if we needed anything. The meal arrived very quickly, hot & cooked perfectly. I had the 3 meat combo but only got two meats which I wasn’t informed by, but the lack of the third was made up with the other two meats so not a big deal. We even asked if they had any crackling which was brought out free of charge which was a nice added touch. The service was excellent. Then they a point of saying goodbye and asked if we enjoyed our meal as we left. Great place to go & very good value. Would highly recommend.

Had a nice cheeseburger on Saturday at the fun day but please add some lettuce and tomato to it My sister had the chicken breast burger and said was very plain

First time at the Swan Friendly welcome from the staff. I had the beef and ale pie ,not one bit of gristle or fat in it , loaded with beef . My wife had the fish and chips , both meals were superb . This is how pub food should be. Also well priced . Both of us will be back soon.

First time visiting the swan and decided to go for the Sunday lunch and went for the trio (3 different meats). Was told there was no lamb left so was happy to go for the beef and chicken. Meal came and had 2 very small slices of beef and a re-fried chicken thigh, along with some vegetables and a few potatoes. Essentially it felt I was given what was left over from a busy afternoon, which was not good enough. If the food has run out they should tell you, I would have gone for something different, but really, a bony chicken thigh and the smallest amount of beef ever! Needless to say very disappointing

An excellent pub, ate here a while ago and the food was outstanding. Well worth a visit.

Ordered a takeaway lamb roast this Sunday 19th may came out stone refrigerator cold and asked for money back saying it cold and not fresh they said it was fresh and they can microwave it for me , just took money back and left they mentioned they can cook another one I mentioned no time to wait as fishing on farlows lake next door already wasteded 20 min valuable fishing time for that rubbish was no way wait another 20 min for a plate of there cold rubbish food, stay clear of there food don't waste your time.

Am leaving this massage for you to say I bought my wife and stepdaughter for Sunday lunch and it was amazing and the waitress we had was brilliant and we will be back soon

We loved the food and the staff were so friendly. The only thing that lets the place down is the menus are a bit tatty - they could do with some nice menu folders so they stay looking nice.

Super friendly staff, a free carpark, good prices AND nice and clean! I highly recommend visiting as they treat everybody like a regular and have a good selection of drinks. I haven't been there when they served food but I've been told it's pukka and the menu looks really good! Thanks to the staff for making the best white russian too

We were feeling slightly trepidatious at returning to The Swan after around 12 years of not going there, but we were hugely surprised to experience a wonderful meal! Our server Ed (Eduardo) is an asset to the pub... he was polite, attentive and just perfect as our waiter. He even popped a candle in my father's dessert when I mentioned it was his birthday, thank you, you really made his evening. The food was fantastic! Every dish had generous portions, was really tasty and cooked perfectly. The restaurant part of the pub isn't as 'posh' looking as it used to be, and I did prepare myself for this by looking online prior to dining this time, so we were expecting a bit more of a standard 'pub' look, but it is still presentable. The only thing I would like to make a suggestion on would be, are the menus. They look grubby as they are simply printed paper, and it might be worth investing in menu holders or perhaps laminate some newly printed menus. It would look great and be much more inviting! However the dishes on the menu are great...keep that going. We will absolutely visit again soon.

Great service, wonderful good value food and drink, everything was super tasty! Ed was AMAZING and an absolute gem to this business....make sure you keep him. We will definitely be returning. The only recommendation I have is to get laminated menus or menu holders, as the paper ones are grubby and not inviting sadly.

Popped in to The Swan for the first time and wow was not disappointed, food, service and atmosphere were all just perfect. We waiting only 25 mins for the most amazing Sunday roast to appear. The waitress was cheerful and attentive with everything being priced very competitively. If your looking for a great Sunday lunch within 15 of central Uxbridge try the Swan you won’t be disappointed.

Shared a fish and chip supper with an pjs friend last night . Compliments to the chef best fish and chips I have had for a long time . Took me back to the seaside. Wonderful attention from from staff . Super atmosphere .

Stopped here briefly whilst waiting for children to complete their drama class. It was nice no negatives and I'd recommend it. I didn't try the food but had some yummy posh crisps with a glass of white wine. Lady who served me was pleasant and friendly. She clearly had a good rapport with the regular local customers which was positive to see. Historic casual pub not a modern snazzy establishment.

Always a cheerful atmoshere, service efficient and friendly. Highly reccommended

Over the years of visiting The Swan, I've never been let down . Everyone friendly and the back garden on those hood days is a game changer . Can't wait for another group meet up and for sure it will be back there

The food was great. I'd recommend the Sunday roast. We have had to ask to turn the music down but that was done promptly. The staff were helpful and courteous. The pub was busy and lively but it was over all very enjoyable.

We had a lovely Sunday roast here again today. Have eaten here many times in the past and the food is always very good especially the roasts and the curry nights. Great pint of London Pride so hubby says. Can highly recommend

We arrived at 1:00, our pre-booked time. Every stage of the ordering and service took an age. We only had a main course and by 2:50 (almost two hours since we arrived) we were still waiting for our desert, so gave up and asked for the bill. We won't be hurrying back!

We went for lunch at the Swan before a memorial service at the nearby church. Despite probably unexpected numbers on a midweek day, lunch was served quickly, efficiently and cheerfully. The typical pub food was well presented, in generous proportions and tasty.

Had a lovely meal here today, sat in the neat little garden as the weather was good, I had the ham, eggs and chips, lovely home cooked ham and crispy chips, my husband had the meat calzone and a side of halloumi fries, which was massive, he only managed to eat half, took the rest home. There is a big car park at the rear, free to use, you just need to enter your registration on entering the pub. Very pleasant helpful staff, had a nice chat with a fellow customer in the garden.

This is the last pub remaining in the village and is a good place to go for classic pub food or drinks. Bring your appetite if you have a roast as the portions are large.

It was my mums 95th birthday the staff was so kind and helpful, we all had a roast dinner and it was hot and delicious. The lady who served up was fantastic nothing was to much trouble there was a fantastic atmosphere we shall be back soon

The place was disappointing as the pub was loud and lary. No cosy corners to sit down and cuddle up with your partner, not a pub for courting couples. More of a family pub. Also was disappointed with the Sunday roast, the meat was chewy and not cooked properly, I could still see red in my lamb. I won't be visiting this bub again. Disappointing for a was was meant to be a quite country pub.

As an ex-resident of Iver I’ve always enjoyed going to The Swan but returning after an absence of three years I was bitterly disappointed. We sat in the garden and the three tables around us were occupied by people spouting constant foul language. They were not all together, it just seemed that the pub now attracts a loud, swearing clientele. Not the sort of place you’d go for a quiet meal with your partner. Such a shame; it used to be my favourite pub. We didn’t wait around to order food and drink.

Lovely food, good selection of drinks, was a bit crowded while I was there. But that probably just shows how popular it is. Outside area is large enough for children to run around in and play. Had a lovely time.

Wanted a family get together - hadn't been to the swan for a couple of years - decided to try it- I must say the food was amazing, the staff were friendly but lacked finesse. We were not asked if we wanted drinks at the table, and with football fans crowding the bar was awkward to get to the bar to get more drinks. But, as I mention the roast dinner was amazing, clean plates all around - shame it lacks finesse.
