One of the best Sunday Roasts in the area. Fantastic and efficient staff, extremely welcoming manager and food never fails to impress. Definitely worth a return visit.

I booked a surprise celebration meal for my Father’s 70th Birthday at The Pineapple last weekend for 25 guests. From the moment I made the booking, the whole process was seamless. Steph, Connor and Jennie all answered my queries quickly and were very helpful with my requests. The meal pre-order process was straight forward and the staff were very accommodating with our guests dietary requirements. On the afternoon, the food and service were excellent. The waiting staff & the bar staff were fantastic and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble! I would also like to thank the kitchen staff, all the food was cooked to perfection and served very quickly. We had a mix of sandwiches and roasts and all our guests commented on how nice the food was. Everyone had a great afternoon! Thank you to all the Pineapple staff for making it such a lovely afternoon. I would thoroughly recommend The Pineapple for any special occasion.

Always loved this pub. It has a very simple food concept. "We do the best sandwiches." And not many people would disagree with that. It has other things on the menu, but you have to try the sandwiches 🥪 😋

We had some of the Sunday roasts which were a little bit more expensive than I had priced them at online but I suspect that the website and Facebook pages aren't up-to-date. Other than that, the food was very good and the staff were quite attentive. It was a very pleasant experience at a reasonable cost.

Huge variety of sandwiches with comical names. A great spot for a post dog walk lunch. Staff were very dog friendly and even gave our little woofie a bowl of sausage pieces for her lunch and a blanket to snooze on. We came early and were lucky to get seated, advisable to book in advance. Looking forward to returning this summer.

Great service and atmosphere here!

Brought my parents here for a nice meal out, first time for all of us. Well worth the visit. The staff were brilliant, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. There was no sense of a rush and no wait for seating either. Food was amazing, and in huge portions too. It came very quickly and was cooked perfectly, full of flavour. The menu is vast so there are plenty of options. The roast dinners are huge, the sandwich was huge. Absolutely brilliant.

We met up with family for lunch after a walk so had a table booked and food pre-ordered. Drinks orders were taken promptly and the food followed shortly after. I had the beef encounter on crusty white with a portion of chips. Delicious! Portions are very generous and perfect for those with a healthy appetite. My wife had al caprawn and although the portion size was again very generous the prawns were small and didn't have a lot of flavour and the rose Marie sauce was a little watery. Overall a very good experience at the Pineapple that has been a favourite for a number of years.

We came to the pineapple on 11/2/24 for an early birthday lunch, the roast dinners were perfect and very filling, the staff were very friendly and accommodating! Many thanks Danny Ps the dog enjoyed her treats

The chicken in my sandwich was not fresh and it had giblets in it couldn’t even finish it the sauce which was way too much made the ciabatta bread soggy it tasted disgusting sorry to say I was so disappointed because the pub looks lovely and is very clean but the food is not good. My partners Christmas sandwich he had the turkey was dry and like it has been re heated trust me being a chef I know that the food was not fresh. Again very disappointing because the staff are very nice but no one did ask how our food was and felt like we was rushed. Very pricey for what it is could of spent £30 on something better

Staff were great at getting us a table last minute, sandwiches were fab!

First off, I have to say the Staff are 5* and very helpful, polite and accomodating. The atmosphere is also 5*. Parking is a little annoying and you need to be patient waiting for a space. But the sandwiches... are tasteless. This is my second visit here and my partner and I have been disappointed with the food both times. We order 2 sandwiches and share half with each other, so in total, have tried 4 sandwiches. The Starter of Padron Peppers were the best thing really. But we noticed ours (and other orders) are accompanied by bread overload to fill the plates. But there were plenty of tasty Padrons too to fill us both up. SANDWICHES - On this visit, we had the Vampire Attack and Fishermans Friend. The Vampire Attack: Roast beef, red onion and garlic dressing, sounds amazing but wasn't. This whole sandwich literally tasted of bread and a bit of onion, but there was plenty of filling, it was very weird! Tasteless beef and the most disappointing, tasteless garlic dressing! And there was a lot of it! The Fishermans Friend (Fish Finger sandwich basically) was OK, something you could easily make at home and still felt more bready than anything. The 3 stars are mainly based on the Sandwiches, as this is what The Pineapple is known for. We won't be returning any time soon unfortunately but I do love the concept! We will try again in a year or so.

Just returned from the Pineapple after a roast dinner, which is the best tasting roast l've experienced for a long time. Service was equally as good, food was served quickly to a party of 7. Mike

Went there with a party of 30 for refreshments. The buffet they put on was absolutely top quality. I've no reason to think that their hot service wouldn't be up to the same standard. Budgetary figure below includes liquid refreshment.

Sandwiches are normally great value for money and always tasty, so many options there really is something for everybody. Have heard not so great things about the pizzas (silly as one of two things on their menu so you’d think they’d be equal). Drinks always okay, seated straight away and smiley waiters, sometimes takes a little while for food to come but very cosy atmosphere whilst you wait. Would recommend and always return.

I continue to enjoy this pub. Great food and very friendly staff. Completely full for a Wednesday lunchtime (10th January).

popped in for dinner with my fiancé on a whim on the 30th October, we ordered two starters to share (the camembert and garlic mushrooms), a pizza each with add ons and two bottles of wine (for a very reasonable price!!) . the staff (three lovely ladies) went above and beyond for us, with kind table service, helping us when we had ab issue(camembert was undercooked but they fixed it and it was perfect). our pizzas were amazing - we filled ourselves on starters and they let us take our uneaten parts of our pizzas home as well as being extra polite and thoughtful. overall, the staff were super lovely and accommodating- the food and drink was lovely and the overall vibe was immaculate. thank you so much and i recommend this place so much :))) ((AN/// One note that is subtle and worth a mild complaint (however may be due to cleaners, other customers etc etc) was that the rope in the disabled/accessible toilet was tied up- which is not good as some people may require this to call for help, i ensured it was untied and loose but yeah)).

My wife and I were taken to this eatery by family members and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were intrigued by the unusual menu and style of service. The food was excellent: the service and atmosphere great. It was very clear why this place is such a popular venue.

Visited on a Monday evening. It was pretty quiet. In some pubs this is a recipe for ropey beer as what's in the pumps is stale and nasty but not here. Drank two pints of London Pride as good as any I've had. We ate too - the sandwiches and wraps were fine. Not sure a Frenchman would recognise the baguette but the long bap served up was tasty enough. All told, a good visit. (Update) Visited on a wet Thursday evening. The pub was busy but not full. We were seated easily. The beer was still good (Doom Bar this time). My companions reported that their sandwiches and wraps were great. I had a pizza, which was massive and delicious. Can still recommend.

Been here a few times now and got the BBC every time I visited. The sandwiches were great too especially the bacon, brie and cranberry sandwich which was done in a way that only the Lord himself could have put together. Beautiful building and great atmosphere always.

My family and I have been visiting the Pineapple for about fifteen years or so, maybe staff come and go, but always a warm welcome, and always fantastic, the best I have ever seen is the choice of sandwich - yes it is their thing, indeed an award-winning thing...! So apart from excellent Pizza, the sandwiches come with a choice of bread and an option of Chips, Salad or soup. Sometimes you wonder about doing a good review, as maybe it will be too busy next time, but it's worth it for a great place such as this - well worth the 45-minute drive! I Came here today after quite a long time, however it was my friends first time. He loved it. The staff are so welcoming and so so lovely. Food was great and came out quick. It was such a lovely atmosphere too. Thank you to all the staff x

The sandwiches here are a must they are like door stops. The staff are so friendly and make you feel very welcome. We were there for a work lunch, so we took the opportunity to make the most of the outside space. I would definitely recommend it.

This was my first time at The Pineapple. They have a unique selection of sandwiches, nicknamed based on the variety of fillings. All can be ordered in different type of breads. The service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious.

Went for lunch with family. The bloomer sandwiches were very nice but was so disappointed with the “belly buster” ciabatta. There was a measly couple of spoonfuls of cheese and onion sandwich filler it’s was not worth the money. I had this yonks ago on a bloomer and there was ample filling it was really nice but now…. It was really stingy on the filling. You really need to rename this. Service was great and attentive.

Haven't visited for a while, greatly improved and sandwiches as good as always.

Food was great but drinks were flat and diet coke from the tap wasnt mixed properly and also flat. Food is as very good though

Popped in yesterday and had a great pint of doom bar and the wife had an alcohol free cider. Really nice attitude and lovely beer. As for food they excel on sandwiches and pizza and although we didn’t eat today what came out of the kitchen looked lovely. We look forward to returning when we are in good of some food. Happy to recommend

We went as a group after a run and the staff were very accommodating. We had ordered in advance and everything was ready for us when we got back from our run. All in all, a very nice evening.

Great pub, great food. Haven't been in a little while but went recently and found myself appalled by the awful lady running the place. Ignoring us for upwards of 30 minutes sitting on her phone and then speaking awfully to her young staff. Completely ruined the atmosphere, extremely disappointing.

Lovely need extension with new seating area. Food came out very very quickly!

I often go into the Pineapple on my own & find the staff really friendly and I feel so relaxed in there. Will who works behind the bar is so pleasant & very nice also Jenny who always greets you with a smile. Love there sandwiches especially the lamb which has plentiful meat in. Also another favourite of mine is the Bacon & Brie cheese with cranberry. There service is excellent. Really love going there as the atmosphere is great. Thinking of celebrating my Birthday there at the end of this month.

Huge selection of sandwiches on the menu. Reasonably priced. Nice beer garden. Sandwiches are a good size but very disappointingly the bloomer I had with my sandwich was fairly stale.

Visited today for team lunch, we had a tight deafline to return to the office. Great customer service by Scarlett who took our pre order and it was ready on time and as ordered. Food was lovely as always.

So...many....sandwiches!!! What a nice spot - the garden is big and has a covered area. The food was great, service was quick over all a great part of a lush day out on the river!!

The Pineapple is one of my favourite places to eat. Jen the manager always makes us feel so welcome and my dog even gets excited when we pull up in the car because he knows Jen will have treats 😂. The pub has a nice atmosphere and the sandwich menu is massive.

A gem of a place which I’m glad to say is my local! Whether we’re there for food/drinks as a family or with friends or a pint after a walk with my dog, Chrys, Jen, Steph and their teams are so welcoming and hospitable to make their customers feel at home. I have no hesitation in recommending.

I recently visited the Pineapple and have to say the decor and garden was absolutely lovely, however some of the staff on the other hand ruined the experience. The tall lady with the pony tail who seemed to be the one in charge came across abrupt and quite rude towards both the customers and her young staff. The language the lady used towards her staff was extremely unprofessional and as a customer made me feel very uncomfortable. In my opinion it is never acceptable to speak to your staff like that, even more so when they all seem so young. I am very disappointed as this is somewhere I have wanted to visit for a while now as it has been recommended by many. Although on a good note, great sandwiches !!

Went on a Friday early evening. Got a table outside and ordered at the bar but after our starter they forgot us 😪 after chasing up our sandwich order they came but were the wrong ones. Ended up getting a refund for the one that never arrived, sad because it sounded tasty. Staff were nice tho.

I had slightly high expectations of this place after seeing they are award winning for their sandwich menu however I was not that impressed after my visit. We tried a sandwich, wrap and a pizza. I found the wrap to be dry and overfilled so it fell apart while trying to eat it and the wrap crumbled because it was dry. The pizza had way too much cheese to base ratio so it felt very heavy and greasy. The sandwich was ok, but I wasn't that impressed with the choices and lack of filling options. Just things like chicken and chilli sauce and that's it. No cheese or any salads or onions as one example..a couple had more fillings, but not everything was appealing to me personally. Their chips were the highlight. Lovely chunky chips that were perfectly cooked and fluffy inside Drink options are good however served in grubby glasses. Nice garden area to sit in with plenty of umbrellas for shade Customer service was good, not great Overall, if you want more then a Sandwich, this isn't the best place to go. However if you love a giant sandwich with thick cut bread, I'm sure you will find something you like.

Beautiful bar. Clean, friendly. The menu looked amazing, seemed to be very popular with tge doorstep sandwiches. We didn't eat but would definitely come back to try a few items on the menu. Gorgeous garden well kept. Dog friendly. Families welcome.

The drinks and food are reasonably priced here! Very affordable independent pub. The staff are lovely and the pub’s interior is clean, and cosy. There’s a nice beer garden which catches the sunset too. Recommend this pub!😊

We went to grab lunch one afternoon, turned up without booking and they were able to fit us in in the beer garden. Was a nice sunny day and lots of tables outside. No table service outside so you need to order at the bar where you get a bucket with a number on and you can pick up your sauces and bits from a table. Once order was in, food arrived quite quickly, we had sandwiches which were great. Staff were great and very friendly. Will be returning back over the summer.

What a discovery!! My son attends Eton and is leaving very soon. Just wish I found this pub 5 years ago as we would have been many times by now. My son had the Southern Comfort ciabatta and I had gluten free Sheep dip - gluten free bread is normally very disappointing but this was so good I had to double check with our waitress it really was gluten free! We both also had chips which were also really lovely. With a cider and a cranberry juice it all came to £21, which considering how good it all was and our waitress was lovely too, as mentioned I wish we had only discover this little gem a few years earlier!

Excellent sandwiches and pizza (and soup). Five minutes off the M4 in Dorney, this is a much better place to stop off than a chappy service station. Ok, parking can be tricky, but there's a small road opposite if the car park is full, but the food and drink is mega. Service is cracking, and nice surroundings. Will stop again soon I'm sure.

Perfect dog friendly place which allows you to relax and enjoy the amazing food.. what a little gem of a find, definitely going back, will book next time as very busy but still gives first class service.
